Just one of the many kids on ps3 who message me asking for Modern Warfare 2 hacks.
10th prestige hack anyone? There’s a ready market of players who want to cheat their way to the top!
BTW – the new WordPress app for Android kicks ass!

This is cool. Support for PSN has appeared in the latest Steam update. If you logout, next time you login you’ll see a dialog like the one above with an option for “Playstation Network Players”. If you click the “FIRST TIME SIGNING IN” button you’re brought to a page asking you if you have played the PS3 version of Portal 2, and if you have you can login using your PSN credentials.
If you have already played Portal 2 on PlayStation®3, you can sign in using your PlayStation®Network login.
Once you have signed in, you’ll find your profile on the Steam community includes information about what you have been doing in Portal 2. You’ll also be able to play your copy of Portal 2 on your computer by redeeming the code provided in your PS3® Portal 2 box.
Nice…
If you’ve jailbroken your PS3 then you probably shouldn’t go online until you reverse the jailbreak. Sony has started banning users who use jailbroken PS3 consoles online! The ban is permanent and worldwide.
you cannot use the PlayStation Network with this account (8002a227).
In the old days it was only Microsoft who were banning their users en-masse but now Sony have to do it as well. I wonder if Nintendo will ever do the same thing?
Well, this sucks.
David stumbled into a hacked MW2 lobby on Playstation 3, not Xbox 360. When I first saw it I thought it might be connected to the recently announced discovery of the PS3 root keys. But I was giving the script kiddies too much credit. Even with the keys they wouldn’t have a clue what to do with them. They’ll have to wait until the smart kids write the tools that take advantage of the situation.
Meanwhile, I went searching for bushigans devils lobby v3 and found this video from October, well before any keys were discovered…
Silly, stupid cheaters.
If you haven’t upgraded your PS3 you can probably hack it and PS3 Break is what you need.
Thankfully, if you want to play online you have to update the firmware and this hack is useless to you. Stopped cheaters in their tracks.
Yes, yes, I know it can be used for homebrew and I’m all for that, but 99% of the time it’ll be used to run pirated software. Lots of great comments on the subject here.
You may have read that a USB dongle went on sale that basically put Playstation 3s into debug mode, thus allowing you to do things not normally allowed. Well, Sony sued and stopped them selling it, but of course the software on the dongle has been reverse engineered and made available online.
Where is the code? Well, slashdot linked to it. It’s on github and there’s a slight mod required to play “backups” of games. On a brighter note, any potential pirates will need a compiler to use the code but I guess it’s only a matter of time before a USB iso becomes available.
I hope Sony figure out a way to stop this working. It’s bad news for software publishers if users can copy their games by just plugging a USB dongle into their machine.
You might not have realised it but you can charge your PS3 controller by plugging the USB charging lead into a bog standard USB port on a PC or Mac.
No need to have the PS3 powered up and draining your household electricity. Much better to use that PC you’re checking your email on and browsing the net.
Yes, I’ll freely admit I hadn’t thought of this, mainly because the controllers last quite a while and it’s usually when I’m playing a game that I notice there’s one bar of power left.
If you’ve played Little Big Planet recently you’ll have come across the name “Stephanie Raven” numerous times. Somehow she gets her levels on the first of the “Cool Levels” planet all the time.
I first figured out that something was wrong when I played a level that looked eerily familiar but didn’t have the familiar face on it to denote I finished it. She’s not the only one. This thread was near the top of a search for her name and pointed at this one about Clay_20_November, another LBP spammer.
It’s a pretty sad way to spend your time if you have to copy LBP levels and post them as your own for validation in this life.
These days I skip forward a few pages to find newer levels and that helps. There are some stunning levels hidden in there!
I got Bioshock 2 free when I bought Singularity in Gamestop this morning. Both are second hand and they’re running a “buy 1, get 1 (select) game free”. Bioshock 2 was on my Amazon wishlist so it was a good way of spending a 40 Euro voucher (plus €4.99 to make up the difference)
Now I just need to finish the original Bioshock ..
Traveling somewhere? Gonna miss your daily feed of Bad Company 2 or Modern Warfare 2? You need a Playstation 3 laptop! (via)
I like!
