Sony PXW-FS7 4K XDCAM Camcorder can record 4K and 1080p slow-motion footage internally to XQD memory cards. The body is taller, with the OLED viewfinder on the left side of the camera, for easier viewing when shoulder mounted. The handgrip has been redesigned to be more ergonomic and features a Start/Stop button, focus magnification button, three assignable buttons, a zoom rocker, an assignable rotary encoder, and a menu navigation joystick. The front of the body has an ND filter wheel with 0 (clear), 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8 density values, allowing greater exposure and depth-of-field control.

The FS7 fills the slot just above the well-regarded NEX-FS700 in Sony’s line of professional large-sensor camcorders. It offers the same E-Mount as the FS700, maintaining the versatile lens compatibility and featuring a brand new body, designed to be more ergonomic and expandable. The body is taller, with the OLED viewfinder on the left side of the camera, for easier viewing when shoulder mounted. The handgrip has been redesigned to be more ergonomic and features a Start/Stop button, focus magnification button, three assignable buttons, a zoom rocker, an assignable rotary encoder, and a menu navigation joystick. The front of the body has an ND filter wheel with 0 (clear), 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8 density values, allowing greater exposure and depth-of-field control.

The PMW-300 is a new XDCAM HD422 professional camcorder. Inheriting qualities such as a lens exchange capability and ease of use from the PMW-EX3, this new camcorder has three 1/2-inch-type Full-HD Exmor™ CMOS sensors which provide high picture quality and an extremely high S/N ratio. As well as MPEG HD422, the PMW-300 also supports XAVC™(*1) in the HD domain which helps to boost user creativity in many different applications. Two SxS™ card slots can provide four hours of HD422 50 Mbps recording time using two 64 GB cards. The camcorder offers two HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, i.LINK™, USB, timecode, and genlock for a wide range of AV and IT interfaces, and supports wireless network operation using an optional adapter, the CBK-WA100.
