About Mitch Wagner

Me-20120404-111926.jpgI’m a technology journalist, editor, blogger, writer, husband, dissatisfied Democrat, American, nonobservant Jew, and science fiction fan.

I live in San Diego with my wife, three cats and a dog. We did not intend to get quite so many pets. We’re a little confused how it happened precisely.

I grew up on Long Island, and I’ve lived in New Jersey, Boston, and San Francisco.

I’m West Coast Bureau Chief for Light Reading, a news and community site for the telecom industry — the companies formerly known as phone companies.

I blog at Like I Was Saying. I’m also active on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Tumblr.

That keeps me busy.

I e-published a short story. It’s called “The Biggest Man in Lilliput.” Then I published another, “Mr. Shaddo.” They’re both comedy science fiction adventures.

I’ve completed a couple more short stories, and I’m working on three novels. Look for them as ebooks soon.

I lost 90 pounds between March 2009 and January 2011. Then I lost 10 more pounds this year. That’s a big deal.
