* Damaged/ Defective items must be returned in the original condition they were received in with all the accompanying accessories.

**Items that you no longer need must be returned in new and unopened condition with all the original packing, tags, inbox literature, warranty/ guarantee card, freebies and accessories including keys, straps and locks intact.

A-to-Z Guarantee

The A-to-Z Guarantee is designed to protect your purchases. We guarantee the condition of the item you buy and its timely delivery when you purchase from sellers on Amazon.in.

You can file an A-to-Z Guarantee claim if you purchased physical goods from a seller selling on the Amazon.in website. See

Exclusions from coverage below for a list of items that are not covered by the A-to-Z Guarantee.

One of the three conditions below must also apply:


  1. You made payment to the seller through the Amazon.in website, but the seller failed to deliver the item within 3 calendar days from the maximum estimated delivery date for your order; or
  2. You received the item, but the item was defective, damaged, or not the item depicted in the seller's description; or
  3. You have returned the item to the seller under an agreement between you and the seller but the seller has not provided the agreed refund to you after receiving the item.

You must first contact the seller through Your Account before filing a claim. Please allow three business days to give your seller a chance to address the issue. You can submit a Guarantee claim if the seller does not respond or if the issue is not addressed to your satisfaction.

What are the requirements of the A-to-Z Guarantee?

Purchase Method:

  • You must purchase physical goods from a seller selling on the Amazon.in website.

Time frame for claims:

  • You must wait 3 calendar days past the maximum estimated delivery date for an order (as indicated in the order details in Your Account) or 30 days from the order date, whichever is sooner. You can submit a claim up to 90 days after the order date.
  • If you have received a materially different item, you must contact the seller within 14 days of receipt to request return information.

Warranty Coverage:

  • If your item becomes defective more than 30 days past the shipping date and it is under warranty, you might also want to consider contacting the manufacturer for repairs or replacement.

Exclusions from coverage:

  • If you paid by credit/ debit card, and the issuing bank has initiated a chargeback, you are not eligible for coverage under the A-to-Z Guarantee.

How to submit a claim?

You can submit a claim for a specific order by viewing the order details in Your Account. To file a claim you can go to Your Account, view Your Orders and select the order you wish to File or View Claim for.

  • Go to Your Account.
  • Click on Your Orders button to view your order history.
  • Click File/ View Claim next to the order for which you want to submit a claim.
