An Emmy Award, often referred to simply as an Emmy, is a television production award, similar in nature to the Peabody Awards but more focused on entertainment, and is considered the television equivalent to the Academy Awards (for film), the Tony Award (for theatre), and the Grammy Awards (for music).
A majority of Emmys are presented in various sectors of the American television industry. As such, the awards are presented in various area-specific ceremonies held annually throughout the year. The two ceremonies that usually receive the most media coverage are the Primetime Emmys and the Daytime Emmys, primarily recognizing excellence in American primetime and daytime entertainment programming, respectively. Other notable Emmy Award ceremonies include those honoring national sports programming, national news and documentary shows, national business and financial reporting, and technological and engineering achievements in television. Regional Emmy Awards are also presented throughout the country at various times through the year, recognizing excellence in local and state-to-state television. In addition, International Emmys are awarded to recognize excellence in TV programming produced and initially aired outside the United States.
John William "Will" Ferrell (/ˈfɛrəl/; born July 16, 1967) is an American comedian, impressionist, actor, and writer. Ferrell first established himself in the mid 1990s as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, and has subsequently starred in the comedy films Old School, Elf, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Stranger than Fiction, Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro, and The Other Guys. He is considered a member of the "Frat Pack", a generation of leading Hollywood comic actors who emerged in the late 1990s and the 2000s, including Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, and brothers Owen and Luke Wilson.
Ferrell was born in Irvine, California, the son of Betty Kay (née Overman), a teacher who taught at Old Mill School elementary school and Santa Ana College, and Roy Lee Ferrell, Jr., a musician with The Righteous Brothers. His parents were both natives of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and moved to California in 1964; Ferrell has Irish ancestry. Ferrell has a younger brother, Patrick. When he was 8, his parents divorced. Ferrell said of the divorce, "I was the type of kid who would say, 'Hey Look at the bright side! We'll have two Christmases.'" The divorce was amicable and both parents were committed to their children. The biggest problem was Lee's line of work. As a person in show business, his paychecks were never steady and he was gone from home months at a time. Growing up in the environment made Ferrell not want to go into show business, but get a steady job.
Come on baby, help me defend this gold
Come on baby, help me defend this gold
There's a band down in
Really, really rock and roll
Well the sun is shinin' on both sides of the street
Ahh, the sun is shinin' on both sides of the street
I got a smile on my face for every little girl I meet
Well my pocket's filled up to the top with dough
Yeah, my pocket's filled up to the top with dough
Well I'm all dressed up but ain't got no place to go
Got a brand new suit, a new pair of shoes
You can't lose, no? by you, baby
Help me defend this gold
Don't you know that I love you
Honest I do...
I; ve never placed no one above you,
please tell me you love me...
stop driving me mad
you the sweetest little one that i ever had
I told you I love you
Stop driving me mad
When I woke up this mornin'
I never felt so bad
Yes, C.C. Rider, see what you done, done
No, C.C. Rider, see what you done, done
You have made me love you, now your man done come
I'm gonna buy me a pistol, honey, long as I am tall
Lord, I'm gonna buy me a pistol, just as long as I'm tall
I'm gonna shoot that man and just look at him fall
C.C. Rider, where did you stay last night?
Oh-ho, C.C. Rider, where did you stay last night?
High and lonesome, be on your merry way
High and lonesome, be on your merry way
Well now, you're back a-wanting me and I'm not gonna let you stay
Well now, ya went 'round the corner, now
Come back soon
Still gonna meet me you just, waitin' 'til noon
I'm high and lonesome
Be on your merry way
Well now, you packed up, want to leave me
And I'm not gonna let you stay
Well now, tell me, tell me baby, now now
What's wrong with you?
Don't treat me darlin', like you, like you used to do
I'm high and lonesome
Be on your merry way
Well now, you're packed up want to leave me
Andaikan dulu, aku bicara
Mungkin kau masih disini
Memang salahku, yang tak peduli
Akan isyarat darimu
Kau coba raih simpati
Tapi ku menutup diri
Dan kau pun pergi jauh
Membawa luka kecil
Yang masih tersimpan dalam hatimu
Kaupun pergi jauh
Tinggalkan luka baru untukku
Ku tanya embun pagi
Ku tanya matahari
Ku tanya bintang, bulan, dan isi bumi
Ku cari kau disana, ku cari kau disini
Ke dasar laut, ke puncak gunung
Ku jalani semua
Ingin bertemu, lepaskan semua rinduku
Di saat tidurku, kau selalu hadir
Di dalam tidur kau tersenyum manis
Hingga pagi tiba dan aku pasti kecewa
Karena kau datang hanya dalam mimpi
Hanya di dalam mimpi
Andaikan dulu, aku bicara
Mungkin kau masih disini
Tak ada rasa bersalah
Tak ada rasa gelisah
Tapi kau pergi jauh
Membawa luka kecil
Yang masih tersimpan dalam hatimu
Kau pun pergi jauh
Tinggalkan luka baru untukku
Ku cari kau disana, ku cari kau disini
Ke dasar laut, ke puncak gunung
Ku jalani semua
Ingin bertemu, lepaskan semua rinduku
Di saat tidurku, kau selalu hadir
Di dalam tidur kau tersenyum manis
Hingga pagi tiba dan aku pasti kecewa
Karena kau datang hanya dalam mimpi
Hanya di dalam mimpi (senyummu, tawamu, wajahmu)
Andaikan dulu, aku bicara
Watching you go is the worst part
Saying goodbye is the hardest phrase
Knowing that this is the very end
I can't avoid it, and I can't pretend
This is the way that it has to be
And please realise, it's not easy for me
The feelings that I try to hide
They're killing me from the inside
Cause I've known you since the start
And I never thought we'd be apart
But I suppose there's nothing I can do
But remember the times with you
Walks in the park
And hugs in the dark
I'd hold you when I was scared
You'd always wait for me
I always knew you'd be
There when no one else cared
And now my life's incomplete
And you are the missing puzzle piece
Hold back the tears I feel alone
Never got that chance to say goodbye
Thinking what tomorrow is going to hold
What kind of events are going to unfold
Cause I knew from the start
And I never thought we'd be apart
But I guess there's nothing I can do
But remember the times with you,
I remember
Walks in the park
And hugs in the dark
I'd hold you when I was scared
You'd always wait for me
I always knew you'd be
There when no one else cared
And now my life's incomplete
And you are the missing...
What is the point of life?
When every day causes strife
What is the point of living?
When your loved ones are missing
How do I keep, moving on?
When everything feels wrong
How in this world am I meant to go on
When I feel that I don't belong?
I remember
Walks in the park
And hugs in the dark
I'd hold you when I was scared
You'd always wait for me
I always knew you'd be
There when no one else cared
And now my life's incomplete
And you are the missing piece
Walks in the park
And hugs in the dark
When I was scared
You'd always wait for me
I always knew you'd be
There when no one cared
And now my life's incomplete
And you are the missing puzzle piece
The missing piece
