A chisel is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge (such that wood chisels have lent part of their name to a particular grind) of blade on its end, for carving or cutting a hard material such as wood, stone, or metal. The handle and blade of some types of chisel are made of metal or wood with a sharp edge in it.
In use, the chisel is forced into the material to cut it. The driving force may be manually applied or applied using a mallet or hammer. In industrial use, a hydraulic ram or falling weight ('trip hammer') drives the chisel into the material to be cut.
A gouge, one type of chisel, is used, particularly in woodworking, woodturning and sculpture, to carve small pieces from the material. Gouges are most often used in creating concave surfaces. A gouge typically has a 'U'-shaped cross-section.
Chisels have a wide variety of uses. Many types of chisel have been devised, each specially suited to its intended use. Different types of chisel may be constructed quite differently, in terms of blade width or length, as well as shape and hardness of blade. They may have a wooden or plastic handle attached or may be made entirely of one piece of metal.

Redemption comes at a price ...
Plot
After con artist Eddie Sullivan (Feuerstein) incurs a large debt with a local criminal ringleader, he creates a get-rich-quick scheme and enlists a sweet gentle giant named Walter (Wight) as his unwitting accomplice. Walter's orphanage -- the only home he's ever known -- also needs funds desperately. Upon overhearing Walter's predicament, Eddie convinces the no-nonsense head nun, Sister Francesca (Malick), that Walter can win the money as a fighter and pay off the church's debts. Eddie's plan: travel from town to town with Walter and enter small, unsanctioned fighting competitions for prize money Sister Francesca dispatches Mary (Hardin) as a chaperone for both Walter and the money and gives Eddie a week - and a prayer - to make it happen. During their journey across the south to the annual Pro-Am MMA tournament in New Orleans, Walter discovers what life is like outside the orphanage, while Eddie becomes morally conflicted over whether to take all the loot for himself or keep his promise to Walter, the one person he can actually call a friend.

A Knock Out Comedy
Fools say that I've lost my way
They say that from my path I've strayed away
Who'll clear my way to a better day
Who'll cleanse my veins and take all my pains away
She takes me in, She holds me in
She keeps me away from my sin
She makes me feel, Shemakes me real
She give me time to heal and
I never want to see the pain scar her fade again and
I never want to leave the warm embrace of my true friend
Sitting back I realize the mistakes I've made
Moving forward hope to find a simpler way
Feel as if the gods have damned my everyday
She takes me in, She holds me in
She keeps me away from my sin
She makes me feel, Shemakes me real
She give me time to heal and
I never want to see the pain scar her fade again and
I can see, I'm, not free.
I, believe, in no one, but me.
All eyes, on me.
Pointing, at me.
Falling, you see.
Your words, deceive.
Chorus:
And I say what I want to say,
Doesn't matter what you think,
Cause is still live this way.
And then you come into my life,
Stick me in the back with your knife.
And now as I look at you,
All these things that you would put me through.
I won't let you look away.
Won't you fucking watch me bleed?
I, can see. I'm, not free.
I, believe in no one but me.
Why don't you take a look at your life for awhile,
And you see yourself, you're just like a child.
Preach about the things you've never seen,
Ignoring all the things that you're supposed to see.
While you watch your watch as time wastes away,
And you feel the need to feed on others pain.
Brag about the things but you fucking tried,
Brag about the things but you fucking lied.
You're a slave!
You're just a slave! (x3)
You're just a, You're just a,
Slave!
You're just a slave! (x2)
Slave.
Now you take a look at your life once again,
And you see the fuckers supposed to be your friends.
Brag about the things but you fucking tried,
Now you brag about the things but you fucking lied.
Now you sell your soul,
You sell your life away kid.
You sign your name.
And you even sell your pain.
Brag about the things but you fucking tried,
You brag about the things but you fucking lied.
Chorus.
I say what I want,
Doesn't matter what you think, what you got.
And all, that you do to me,
All these things that I could never see.
And now as I walk away,
All these things that I could never say.
I wont let you look away.
Wont you fucking watch me bleed?
You're a slave!
Weak inside, you're a slave.
Feeding your mind, you're a slave.
Selling your pain, you're a slave.
Signing your name, you're a slave.
Open your doors, you're a slave.
Weak inside, you're a slave
Feeding you're mind, you're a slave.
Chorus.
You're a slave.
You're just a, you're just a slave. (x3)
