In its most general form, a playlist is simply a list of songs. They can be played in sequential or shuffled order. The term has several specialized meanings in the realms of radio broadcasting and personal computers.
The term originally came about in the early days of top 40 radio formats[citation needed] when stations would devise (and, eventually, publish) a limited list of songs to be played. The term would go on to refer to the entire catalog of songs that a given radio station (of any format) would draw from. Additionally, the term was used to refer to an ordered list of songs played during a given time period. Playlists are often adjusted based on time of day, known as dayparting.
As music storage and playback using personal computers became common, the term playlist was adopted by various media player software programs intended to organize and control music on a PC. Such playlists may be defined, stored, and selected to run either in sequence or, if a random playlist function is selected, in a random order. Playlists' uses include allowing a particular desired musical atmosphere to be created and maintained without constant user interaction, or to allow a variety of different styles of music be played, again without maintenance.
Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and occasional actress. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen to pursue a career in country music. She signed to the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. The release of Swift's self-titled debut album in 2006 established her as a country music star. "Our Song", her third single, made her the youngest sole writer and singer of a number one song on the country chart. She received a Best New Artist nomination at the 50th Grammy Awards.
Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in late 2008. Buoyed by the chart success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", Fearless attracted a crossover audience and became the top-selling album of 2009. The record won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest ever Album of the Year winner. Fearless also received Album of the Year plaudits at the American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards, making it the most awarded album in country music history. In 2010, Swift released her third album, Speak Now, which sold over one million copies in its first week. She then embarked on the 111-date Speak Now World Tour, which was attended by over 1.6 million fans and has become one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time. The album's third single, "Mean", won two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Swift is currently recording her fourth studio album, due for release in the fall of 2012.

one day you will wake up a and think
what the hell is goin on where the fuck did i go wrong
you’re gonna go see a shrink
cry and bable on about the meaning of your songs
nobody ever got to listen
the radio didn’t wanna playlist them
they might as well not have existed
i don’t understand what i been missin
you’ve always worked hard
insisted to try without the handbook or a guide
oh no I didn’t get you far
now all you do is write new hits and hide them
so nobody else can get a listen
you don’t need the radio to playlist them
to me they have always existed
you got to understand there’s absolutely nothing you been
missin
Baby
Baby
Baby
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Baby when you look at me
My heart releases butterflies
We lock eyes, our lips, our hands, our hips
And nobody would disguise
We've got a heavy situation here
This is the first song of our new life
Every beat in between you and me
We need to keep it going all night
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Baby will you work with me
'Cause I can't do it alone tonight
Paralyzed my lips with your finger tips
Girl, I'm in need of love tonight
Well there's a heavy situation here
This is the first dance of our new life
Every beat in between you and me
We need to keep it going all night
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time
Even though your heart makes me nervous
Even though your moves got me wild
Better know your love's on my playlist every time

I wrote a letter today
And what I wrote was my own obituary
'Cause from the graveyard of self you have resurrected me
Jesus
You have changed the way I do everything
You have changed the way I see everything
With You I begin
Every day the same
And I'm gonna drink deep
That is why I came
The truth is a river flowing
Renewal for your mind
Let it set your heart free
The way that it did mine
I sing Jesus
You have changed the way I do everything
You have changed the way I see everything
Looked in the mirror today
And what I saw was not the same as yesterday
Cause more and more you're transforming and rearranging me
I sing Jesus
You have changed the way I do everything
You have changed the way I see everything
You have changed the way I wear my wedding ring
You have changed the way I treat my family
You have changed the way I see all my friends
You have changed the way that I spend my time
You have changed the way that I use my mind
You have changed the things that I spend my money on
You have changed everything I ever thought was mine
You have changed my emotions
You have steadied me
You have changed my eyes and what I let them see
You have changed the course of my history
Thank God You're still changing me!
