Anything can happen on live television and it happened to ESPN’s Chris Hassel on his first week of Goal Line duty. His studio spot started innocently enough with the verbal realization that he should probably sit down. Then everything went wrong thanks to a slippery chair and honest stream of consciousness. The best part of this is the fact Hassel is perfectly aware of the moment as it happens. His last-ditch effort to appeal to the better angels of human nature at the end is a smart idea.
