Mountains in Motion: The Canadian Rockies is an experimental short documenting the life of the alpine landscape through time-lapse photography. In an effort to highlight the wildness of these mountain places and how they have inspired explorers of the past, present and future, sequences were painstakingly gathered from exposed summits; by glacial lakes; and under aurora-filled skies. This 100% human-powered film combines time-lapse photography with an original story and musical score to bring the landscape center-stage and offers a thrilling new perspective that re-establishes the Canadian Rockies among the finest mountains in the world.

It's a case of nowhere to go.::Red Flack, Wagon Boss: It appears to me you do your shooting by daylight with too many people looking on, hey?
Zeke: When a man begins to do a lot of talking about hanging, he better make pretty sure as to who is going to decorate the end of the rope.
Ruth Cameron: Look how queer his horse is acting!::Zeke: Yeah, he's riding zigzag - that's the Indian sign for palaver. There's the chief riding out to meet him now for a powwow.

Is this a waste of all my precious time?
And could this chance that I take, lead me to losing my
mind?
As I stepped to the edge, I saw the water below.
Then I said to myself, "Sometimes you gotta let go."
All I know is, all I know is, all I know is,
I'm still waiting for my sun to shine.
All I see are clouds, when I look around.
Rain falls from my mouth as it hits the ground.
Lead me to the light cause I'm still waiting.
I'm waiting for my sun to shine.
What does it take to be alive?
And are the chances we take, what we're measured by?
As I sat on my couch I wondered why? Why?
It's such a beautiful day and I'm still sitting inside.
All I know is, all I know is, all I know is,
I'm still waiting for my sun to shine.
[Hidden Track]
I was dancin' with the devil.
I was singin' dirty songs.
Pourin' whiskey from the bottle,
'til the early break of dawn.
Oh my gorgeous Arizona,
here's to getting caught with you.
I was runnin' with the wolves.
I was howlin' at the moon.
I felt lonely, lost and stranded.
I felt down and torn apart.
With no cash left in my pockets,
Just a shitty fortune card.
It read, "Strength will find you sooner
than you ever thought it would."
Then the pain it turned to anger,
moved to joy so now I'm good.
And I'm one pack of smokes from broke.
I can tell I will make it alone.
So I'll keep on fighting.
Yeah, I'll keep on fighting.
In the end when we sink, we float.
When you're one pack of smokes from broke.
When you're one pack of smokes from broke.
When you're one pack of smokes from broke.
When you're one pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
Yes, I'm one pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
One pack of smokes from broke.
One pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
I'm just one pack of smokes from broke.
Here I am standing firm
As the ground shakes beneath me
I send you away with my own hand
I try and try to remember that for now it's for the better
But there's a Southern kind of tragic blowing in
Oh it feels like the beginning of the end
Well the Alabama moon fell from the sky
And the sweet tea wells ran dry
Somewhere out there you're finding yourself
But back home it's the end of time
I'm scared to death
Pick up your phone
Outside I hear the bells ringing
Bringing ruin to all that we have ever known
Pick up your phone
I need an answer
Come home and call off disaster
'Cause I fear tonight our Cotton Land might fall
Oh I'm cracking like the plaster on the wall
Oh the Alabama moon fell from the sky
And the sweet tea wells ran dry
Somewhere out there you're finding yourself
But back home it's the end of time
It's the end of time
Is it the end of all time
Or just the end of mine
Well all of the cotton, it died in the fields
The little babies cried the blue from their eyes
Somewhere I'll bet you're living it up
So come home before the end
The Alabama moon fell from the sky
And the sweet tea wells ran dry
Somewhere out there you're finding yourself
But back home it's the end of time
Come home, come home and be mine
Come home, come home
