In the past few years, I've traveled to some of the most engaged cities on earth – Singapore, London, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong – and some of the emptiest – Tuaran & Biysk. Then there is Almaty, the largest Kazakhstan city that is some where in between, but a promising one. This oil-rich Central Asian nation sees itself as several status above the wild and relatively unexplored "____Stans" surrounding it, with the smart-suited elite driving brand new luxury cars and holidaying in Europe. So to find out more, I decided to board the plane and try to study the local real estate scene, the culture, and what exactly are the successful people investing over there - which is what Property Pinpoint is about. I’ve just returned and will be going through my videos, photos, notes, and scraps of paper to piece together a series of Kazakhstan real estate videos.
