Marriage (also called matrimony or wedlock) is a social union or legal contract between people called spouses that creates kinship. The definition of marriage varies according to different cultures, but is usually an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged. Such a union is often formalized via a wedding ceremony. Many cultures limit marriage to two persons of the opposite sex, but some allow forms of polygamous marriage, and some recognize same-sex marriage. In some cultures, marriage is recommended or compulsory before pursuing any sexual activity.
People marry for many reasons, including one or more of the following: legal, social, libidinal, emotional, economic, spiritual, and religious. These might include arranged marriages, family obligations, the legal establishment of a nuclear family unit, the legal protection of children and public declaration of commitment. The act of marriage usually creates normative or legal obligations between the individuals involved. Some cultures allow the dissolution of marriage through divorce or annulment.

An anti-federalist experiment in story-telling.
I have a woman
I'm a man
Marriage is the story that I try to understand
Singles live together
Couples fight like fools
Just hope that this story doesn't work for me and you
A head in the future and a ring in the hand
We should get together to be kind again
Beauty is in the menu of my favorite type
If we get together the thing's gonna be alright
We should believe in our own hearts
It is just something that flies to me
The love is here forever
We're having fun for free
The indecision is in my mind
If you don't help me I'll get crazy
My love is here forever
Just believe in me
I'll tell you something
I'll get out of here
Go abroad to England for one year
The first time I follow my feelings
Forget the things
I know you said "You're Ready", but I'm not ready
See marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Unless it's real love, through the sunshine and the rain
For better or for worse, girl this is not a game
See marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Now I've been trying to make you understand
That I'm proud to be with you and I'm happy I'm your man
I know your moms and your pops wanna see you walking down that aisle asking what's up
'Cause it's been awhile, 'bout seven years now
We've been together baby, but girl I'm still not ready
Take it easy don't push me away, don't want to make a mistake
I wanna do thing right and my paper right
Wanna be 100% is with you, I wanna spend my life
Marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Unless it's real love, through the sunshine and the rain
For better or for worse, girl this is not a game
See marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Unless it's real love, through the joy and through the pain
It's more than a ceremony, more than a wedding ring
A marriage won't change, nothing but your name
Ever since you caught that bouquet at your friends wedding day
I've been under pressure babe (I've been under pressure girl)
Now you window shop for wedding gowns and wedding bands,
Pickin' out your bridemaids and the theme song for the reception,
I know you love me baby, but girl I'm still not ready
It's so many thing's such you don't know about me
Even though we've been together for so long
We got a long way to go, so girl lets take it slow
It's not that I can't see myself a life with you
Girl I aint going nowhere, lets take our time
This ain't something that you just jump into
And marriage don't change no
See marriage don't change, nothing but your name
Unless it's real love, through the sunshine and the rain
For better or for worse, girl this is not a game
if it's mine to give its gone
lost or left somewhere along
the way and forgive my honesty
but you can have all i'll never be
one day machines will quit
and the ones like me who don't see fit
to play a part will move along
with no pity for the deadest ones
and everyone with a soul will fall in love
buildings bend and punchclocks rust
heaven longing eyes will live their lust
for everyone in the dust who can't recall
smokestacks choke and billboards fall
a painting hung on everywall
can i be this miserable?
will it count to be this careful?
and if everyone's this sad and cold
please pass the fucking pill
i've seen everything to see
and i can't breathe around such company
if it only proves my frailty
Beginning with its conclusion
Misdirected by what's right
Actual illusion
Weakened by its might
The deserving marital value
Priced for quick exchange
Is worth in the open market
Only half its weight in change
Enthusiastically disfigured
By anticipated, sterile waste
Poised and promising
Glazed in its loss of face
Frantically mellow
Blameless in its intent
More solid than jello
Yet, softer than cement
Unprofitably productive
Not worth speaking of
Mutually destructive

(Arthur:)
I speak through forgotten words,
and if inside my heart is happy
girl you know it happens just because of you,
my love!
( Guinevere and Arthur:)
I don't need another love
but this one that keeps my heart burning
all my world is turning just because of you,
my love!
