Gana Adhikar (Assamese: গণ অধিকাৰ) is a regional daily newspaper covering the state of Assam in North-East India. It is published in Assamese from Guwahati. Gana Adhikar is owned by Unity Media & Infrastructure Limited.

The main objective of Ganaadhikar is to be the mouthpiece of the common people to fight for their rights & justice.^{[citation needed]} It has strong reader base in Guwahati & parts of Lower Assam but is slowly gaining traction in parts of Upper Assam.^{[citation needed]}

The newspaper's chief editor is Dr. Dilip Bora and its executive editor is Ziaur Rahman.

The newspaper started its online edition in April 2011.

Anju Panta (Nepalese: अन्जु पन्त) is a Nepalese playback singer. Having lent her voice to popular numbers like the title song of Ma Timi Bina Marihaalchhu, Bhun bhun bolyo bhamara of Saput, Dil yo mero dil in Kismat, and Sustari sustari mannma for Darr, Anju has sung for 18 films and more than 100 Nepali melodious songs both in duets and solos. Her song Na binse timilai na paen timilai (न बिर्सें तिमीलाई न पाएँ तिमीलाई) is considered one of the best songs of her career.

Anju Panta was born to Bishnu and Mana Maya in 1977. She sang a bhajan Manuwa manmai yogi banau. In 1998, Anju competed for the Nationwide Modern Song Competition organized by Radio Nepal and won. It was then she realized that she could truly aim to becoming a professional singer. She did many stage shows, and first noticed by the song “Kampan”, a remake of original Nepali hits. Her vocal scale, projection and pronunciation in the songs of Kampan received accolades even from music critics. Her dulcet voice in the remake of songs like, Maitighar and Reli Khola bagara remained at the top of the chart for many weeks in different countdowns. The song Kina udyo pankhi mana from the film Bagar became her career launcher in Nepali silver screen.

In the year 2002 She got married to Manoj Raj Siwakoti, Monaj is also very popular modern and metal singer of nepal, acrobatic voice.They have a daughter too. Now they are not together, they split up recently.

In December 2009, at the 13th Close Up Hits FM Music Award function, she bagged most of the titles, including Best Female Vocal Performance, and Best Record of the Year for "Nabirse Timilai", which is her biggest hit to date.^[1]

Tripurari Swami, also known as Swami B.V. Tripurari and Swami Tripurari, is "an author, poet and guru. As a prominent master in the Gaudiya Vaishnava lineage, he is one of the leading practitioners of Bhakti-yoga in the West."^[1]

Biography[link]

B.V. Tripurari Swami was born in 1949 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey. He devoted his youth to the pursuit of transcendental knowledge and mystic experience. His lifetime of spiritual practice and teaching has brought him notice in spiritual circles around the world and earned the appreciation of scholars and practitioners alike. Swami Tripurari's has been described as helping "scholars... apprehend more clearly the dynamic nature of the Krsna consciousness movement."^[2]

Swami Tripurari met his initiating guru, Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, in the spring of 1972.^[3] Swami Tripurari relates that he felt as though he had met a long-lost friend, as Srila Prabhupada blessed him with his all-knowing glance. Over the years of service that followed, Srila Prabhupada showered Swami Tripurari with affection and repeatedly expressed his appreciation for Swami Tripurari's selfless service and ability to inspire others. In 1974 Srila Prabhupada instructed Swami Tripurari in a widely circulated letter,^[4] "So you organize freely. You are the incarnation of book distribution. Take the leadership and do the needful." Accordingly, Swami Tripurari has set an example of one who is independently thoughtful and capable of making an insightful literary contribution to the world.

Before accepting sannyasa in 1975, Tripurari Swami was known as Tripurari dasa.^[5]

Shortly before Srila Prabhupada's departure from the world, he suggested that, should the need arise, his students could receive further instruction from his Godbrother Srila B. R. Sridhara Deva Goswami. Swami Tripurari was present when Srila Prabhupada gave this instruction, implanting it in Swami's heart.^[6] However, it was not until several years later, in the midst of the confusion that followed Srila Prabhupada's death,^[7] that they blossomed into the directive that would so deeply affect the course of Swami Tripurari's spiritual pursuit.

Swami Tripurari expresses his experience of hearing from and serving Srila Sridhara Maharaja thus: "With the setting of the sun of the manifest pastimes of our beloved preceptor, Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the world became dark. Then suddenly in the shadows of the night the reflected light of the moonlike discourse of Srila B. R. Sridhara Deva Goswami flooded the path with new light and dynamic insight that illumined the inner landscape, leading me to the soul of Srila Prabhupada and Gaudiya Vaisnavism." The association and instructions of Srila B. R. Sridhara Deva Goswami profoundly affected Swami Tripurari, and under his inspired guidance, Swami Tripurari began initiating his own students in 1985.

The name Tripurari in Sanskrit translates to "lord of all three worlds".

Tripurari Swami has published numerous books. In 1998, Yoga Journal reviewed Aesthetic Vedanta. [2] In 2002, Bhagavad Gita: Its Feeling and Philosophy, was reviewed by Yoga Journal,[3] and then in 2005 for the Journal of Vaishnava Studies (by Arvind Sharma). [4]
