China's solution to the water shortage in the north is to take water from the south. In December, the central section was completed, and water started flowing to Beijing from Danjiangkou. Russia and China are pushing the de-dollarization by conducting half of their trade in the yuan or rouble. MH17 report is out and it says the plane was hit with high energy projectiles, bullets. Who did it is not in the report. Wiki-leaks reports that the Ukraine crisis was scripted back in 2008. French are making the case to invade Libya. The US is getting 40 plus countries together to form a coalition to invade Syria. The Islamic State terror threat is being pushed for the next event. Half Empty: China's massive project to ease northern drought
China's solution to the water shortage in the north is to take water from the south. In December, the central section was completed, and water started flowing to Beijing from Danjiangkou. The project is a controversial one that’s been debated for half a century, and has taken over a decade to build.

China may be ahead in land power but a confrontation involving air and sea power would be a different matter altogether.
Leave aside economic growth parameters and astounding leaps in infrastructure that only increase the disparity between India and China with every passing day, the story is repeated about the increasing gap between the military capabilities of the two countries. China's expenditure on defence is three times ours -- if we accept disclosed figures -- and could actually be more. It has improved its India's border infrastructure considerably, thereby enabling quick mobilisation and redeployment of troops. China's land forces mustered on the border outnumber those of India, whose own quite dismal efforts in improving infrastructure inhibit mobilisation and effective conduct of operations. Modernisation of its air and naval power are key ingredients of China's objective to be able to fight "high technology limited wars", and steady progress is apparently being made in both these sectors. An old Soviet aircraft carrier, initially bought by the Chinese for conversion to a recreational platform, has now been refurbished as a full-fledged aircraft carrying ship -- no small achievement -- and more such platforms can be expected to be built locally in the years to come. China has realised that credible distant operations are impossible without access to organic air support and surveillance.
India, on the other hand, is languishing -- unable either to build or to develop, and indeed, even to buy, as most recently seen in the chopper deal. Enough money is not being provided, say some; what is provided is not being spent, say others. Insufficient focus on indigenisation is given as one reason for this state of affairs -- as if that is something that can be achieved with simple changes of policy. The number of countries that can build their own tanks, guns, planes, ships and submarines and fit them with their own weapons and sensors can be counted on the fingertips. The US, the UK, France, Russia, Italy, Germany and Japan have not been in this business for just decades -- they have been turning out major warships for more than 100 years.
Quite clearly, in terms of land power, the Chinese are ahead of us not just in numbers, but in their ability to move forces quickly and in the required numbers, both force multipliers. That said, this does not immediately make our cause a lost one. We are not about to see a war being fought a la World War II in which the fight will go on until one side is, ultimately, forced to surrender. What is more germane is whether, in a limited conflict, like the one in Kargil, we have the capability to inflict a degree of punishment that the adversary might not find acceptable -- militarily and politically. In 1978, Vietnam achieved this objective against the invading Chinese army easily, despite being seriously outnumbered and outgunned. The moot question, therefore, is whether we are equipped and able to do something similar or not. Frankly, not even the most cynical among our military will doubt the Indian Army's ability to do much more to the adversary than what Vietnam could do more than three decades ago. Our capabilities may not deter in the absolute sense, but are sufficient to dissuade the Chinese.
In the air, the situation is different. The Chinese have many more aircraft, but a good number are relatively old and unsuited to today's war fighting. Even though they have lengthened and strengthened airfields in the Tibetan plateau, Chinese aircraft are more constrained in their operating parameters, such as endurance and weapon loads, compared to ours operating from airfields located at sea level. So, if it comes to a fight in the air, do not expect the Chinese air force to have a free ride. On the contrary, India has enough in its inventory to give the Chinese a run for their money, and more. Despite delays in inducting more fighter aircraft, the Indian Air Force, in its Sukhois, MIG-29s and Mirages has a quite potent punch. In short, in air power, the equation is pretty even.
At sea, the equation is decidedly tilted towards us. In the Indian Ocean region, India has advantages that the Chinese will be hard put to match. Availability of organic air power through dozens of airfields strung across the Indian coast and island territories enable not just credible operating capability across the large water space, but also surveillance over critical energy and shipping routes. Not only do the Chinese have limited resources to facilitate credible operations, their access to the Indian Ocean is constrained by the narrow channels of the South East Asian archipelago. These potential vulnerabilities in this maritime theatre must weigh heavily in Beijing.

7) Taking the train in China from Hong Kong to Guangzho en route to Guilin travel video
So tonight is our very last night in Yangshuo, a charming little town in Southwestern China, so we're going to show you around the main strip.
So our first stop is going to be the street food market. I haven't eaten in maybe two hours, so it's time to get a snack.
If I had to choose between Guilin and Yangshuo the two most popular cities in this region it's definitely Yangshuo. It's a more historic town. It's a lot more pedestrian friendly and there are great
As we were wandering around the night market tonight we had lots of people come up to us and ask to take photos beside us. At least probably four or five times and we finally filmed the last one. It was really cool. We were like celebrities in China. Yeah, almost famous.
So, this market had some pretty cool souvenirs. We saw fake Chinese passports if you want to take one of those home. They also had combs carved out of ox bone. They had these stamps where you can get your Chinese name carved on them and then you can just sign documents that way which is pretty cool.
Today we are visiting a local hill tribe that just lives a few hours outside of Guilin and we've come here because this community is known for the women's long hair. They grow it out and it's almost a meter and a half long and we're actually going to be watching a performance where they spin their hair and wrap it up and show us how they wear it.
Today we're in between Guilin and Yangshuo and we're doing a special river cruise down the Li River.
So this tour is going to be an hour and a half long and we're going to get to enjoy some pretty stunning landscapes, so I'm pretty excited about it.
When I came here two years ago it was hazy and foggy. Now it's a gorgeous glorious day.
Here we are at the Longji Rice Fields which are located just outside of Guilin. We've had such good luck. Check out the weather and the views behind.
So we are hiking up to one of the viewing platforms. This is going to be tough because it's like forty degrees outside and we're been told it'll take 30 minutes to one hour depending on our pace. So I'm trying to stay hydrated. Audrey is going to have to workout
We've rented a couple of bikes and we've decided to spend our last morning exploring around the countryside areas of Yangshuo. They were pretty cheap. Just under two dollars for each bike.
So we finally made it to Guilin.
So this is the Guilin main square. It gets really busy here at night. Lots of shops, restaurants, eateries. You can do it all here.
Chinese singing.
So we are now at the lake and the main attraction are the these two pagodas that light up at night.
Background music playing.
Oh, that mapo tofu looks so good. Really generous sized portion.
Well, it's hard to believe but our time in Hong Kong has already expired. Today we're taking a train ride. Where are we going? We're crossing over into China.
We are in Guangzho. Apparently there are two train stations. We arrived at the one that is on the East End of the City and we had to get across town to the other and it was difficult but we need to keep going.
So right now we are in Guangzho station waiting for our train to Guilin. And we happen to be waiting in the VIP room.
There is no tea in this tea room.
We're going to Guilin.
Uh, we're looking for number ten.
So we're in the dining cart now getting ready to have dinner. Let's see what is on the menu if we can even read it. We barely got a seat here.
Decision time. So we did manage to find an English menu which makes things a lot easier.
Fish one. Tofu with pork. One. Okay. Rice. One Rice? Okay. Beer. One. Okay. Ah, green tea - one. okay.
So this is the friend fish with a sweet and sour sauce.
Good morning. We are almost in Guilin. Our train has been delayed about an hour and a half.

I personally have asian eyes that have a hooded lid so this tutorial is perfect if you have hooded lids too or have asian eyes as it focuses on creating contours all over the eye and not blended crease looks. It's also perfect for making small eyes bigger without putting on too much heavy colours and makeup!

The Imperial City is entered through the Gates of Heavenly Peace. After seven years of construction, Ming Emperor Zhu Di moved into his newly-established palace complex in which over eight thousand people lived in almost a thousand rooms. The palace served as both a residential and governmental seat to the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s

Shanghai is the future all other Chinese cities aspire to reach. Forget creaking temples and dusty old palaces (there are plenty of them elsewhere); Shanghai is where people come to see modern China at its glimmering best.
This fast-paced city of towering skyscrapers is, in fact, not without its own significant history. Its glory days of the 1930s helped build Shanghai's reputation as a City of Sin. But to pause for too long at the city's past would be missing the point: Shanghai is all abou

After 466 years, Portugal handed back the city of Macau to China. It is small and museum-like, a fine example of colonial Portugal on the South China Sea.
The Fortaleza Do Monte is a typical Portuguese fortified complex strategically located on a hill above the old cathedral in the heart of the city. Its many old canons and mighty fortress walls are reminders of those times when invasion was a constant threat.
The old centre of the city is the triangular Largo Do Senado, Senate Square. Its wonderful colonial buildings with their light-colored facades were built at the end of the 19th century an

A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s household who retreated to its cool lakeside shores during the humid months of summer. Close to Badaling the Great Wall Of China extends majestically across misty mountains. It is the largest Man-made structure in the world and was erected to protect the country from invasion from the North. The gigantic wall represented the division of two very different cultures. On one side the Central Asian Nomads and on the other the highly developed civilisation of the emerging Chinese Empire. Shanghai is a Gigantic City and a meeting point of both east and west. The shoreline is without a doubt the city’s main focal point and is a combination of past, present and future and contains the historic monuments and eye catching buildings of a great city. Famous explorer Marco Polo referred to Suzhou as the ‘Venice of the East’, a city that is particularly famous for its gardens. Many of its extremely elegant buildings are remnants of a glorious past. Yunnan´s most famous site is the unique Stone Forest Of Shi Lin, a forest of rock that extends for 27,000 hectares. Hong Kong is a city of the superlative with glimmering skyscrapers that seem to take root in the sky and one elegant building after another with shining glass and hi-tech facades. China is a world within a world!

Hong Kong, a former British territory, is one of the most densely populated places in China and in the world. You’ll find quiet neighborhoods full of temples and a dazzling skyline loaded with shopping and dining opportunities.

Angry Chinese travel guide berates tourists for not spending enough
云南女导游嫌购物少 骂游客没德行不要脸
ANGRY CHINESE Tour Guide travel guide loses license after berating tourists for not spending enough.
A travel agency in Yunnan province has been forced to suspend operations after one of its employees was filmed unleashing a rant on a bus full of visitors because they weren't spending enough at scenic spots.
The guide, Chen Chunyuan, had her license revoked and her employer, the Kunming Fenghua Travel Agency, was fined 20,000 yuan.
The ordeal went down on April 12 as the group was traveling from Lijiang to Kunming and was headed for Xishuangbanna, according to a report on People's Daily. Video footage showing the guide 'venting frustration' on the travelers because they failed to spend enough money at a jewelry shop went viral after being posted on May 1.
"The bus is prepared for tourists who have moral standards and conscience. If you do not have these, you are not fit to sit here," Chen had said angrily.
"If each of you cannot spend 3,000 to 4,000 yuan, we will cancel the trip. Your flight tickets home will also not be covered in this trip as well," she went on.
"You need to at least spend for the sake of your conscience. If you cannot do that, there will be retributions coming to you," she added.
The China National Tourism Administration investigated the incident as soon as it began circulating online.
Tour guides commonly arrange deals with shops at scenic spots and encourage travelers to spend there as a way to earn commission. In February, a Harbin woman complained that a tour guide in Hong Kong refused to take the group to Disneyland unless each person spent 4,000 RMB at a jewelry store.

Shanghai - China Travel Guide http://goo.gl/Cl0qNG
Shanghai is the future all other Chinese cities aspire to reach. Forget creaking temples and dusty old palaces (there are plenty of them elsewhere); Shanghai is where people come to see modern China at its glimmering best.
This fast-paced city of towering skyscrapers is, in fact, not without its own significant history. Its glory days of the 1930s helped build Shanghai's reputation as a City of Sin. But to pause for too long at the city's past would be missing the point: Shanghai is all about the future face of the world's future super power, and coming here is to witness what makes the business end of China tick.
Perhaps best visited at the end of your trip to China, Shanghai offers history-tired tourists the chance to dine at glitzy restaurants, wine at funky cocktail bars and shop inside dazzling malls before resting up in the country's most impressive hotels.

Things to do in Hong Kong China | Top Attractions Travel Guide
Hong Kong Travel Video including some of the top things to do in Hong Kong along with the best attractions in Hong Kong, China.
Hong Kong is one of the most dynamic cities in all of Asia. From a travel perspective it offers numerous diverse options worth exploring.
Whether one is exploring Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, Victoria Harbor or the New Territories, there are plenty of attractions to cover.
The following is a list of the top things to do in Hong Kong:
1) Avenue of Stars at Night in Kowloon (星光大道)
Wandering around Avenue of Stars at night is the perfect way to experience Hong Kong in the evening. Overlooking Victoria Harbour, this area has been modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame championing all of the celebrities involved in the Hong Kong entertainment industry. None is more famous than the Bruce Lee statue. This is also the perfect place to watch A Symphony of Lights laser show which happens daily at 8 pm.
2) Afternoon High Tea at the Peninsula
Sitting down for afternoon tea at the Peninsula is one of the more posh activities in Hong Kong. Expect to wait in line (we waited over 2 hours) for a table. You can get complete sets which include assorted finger food along with a drink. This is definitely not a budget activity.
3) Views of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak and Tram Ride (太平山)
Taking a tram ride up to Victoria Peak to experience the best vantage point of Hong Kong, Kowloon and Victoria Harbor is one of the top attractions in the city. Many come at night; however, we recommend coming in the afternoon on a weekday when you can enjoy having more personal space.
4) Star Ferry boat ride (天星小輪)
There are many different modes of transportation in Hong Kong; however, none are quite as authentic of an experience as taking Star Ferry from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon or vice versa. It's one of the cheapest ways to get around.
5) Junk Boat Ride
Taking a Junk boat ride around Victoria harbor offers some of the best views of the city. It's especially popular at night to take in A Symphony of Lights performance.
6) Hong Kong Park and Tea Appreciation Ceremony (香港公園)
To get away from all of the hustle and bustle check out Hong Kong Park for a tranquil escape. If you have time participate in a Chinese tea appreciation ceremony.
7) Sampan Boat Tour in Aberdeen (舢舨)
Taking a ride on a traditional Sampan boat allows you to experience what life is like for Chinese fishermen.
8) Eating Dim Sum (點心 - 点心)
One should not leave Hong Kong without first trying dim sum. These small sized bites are treats that are accompanied by a pot of Chinese tea.
9) Taking a night bus tour of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon
Taking a night bus tour allows you to visit distinct areas in both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon such as Mong Kok and Causeway Bay.

Travel video about destination Macau in China.
Its wonderful colonial buildings with their light-colored facades were built at the end of the 19th century and completely renovated in the final decade of the 20th.
Macau's largest Buddhist temple, Templo de Kun Iam Tong, dates back 400 years to the Ming Dynasty when its original foundations were built. Beyond its main gate, just off a busy street in the north of the city, is a peaceful oasis of silence and contemplation, a mystic place in which stone lions, golden Buddhas and all who visit are surrounded by serene, aromatic wisps of smoke.
The beautiful Jardim de Lou Lim Ioc Park is situated in the northern less touristy business district of the city. It was designed in the 19th century by a wealthy Chinese trader, Lou Kau. This marvelous oasis is an idyllic setting with a lotus pond, rocks, grottos and waterfalls.
Excursions are available on restored motorized junks that leave from the City's harbor several times a day.
Taipa is the larger of the two islands that belong to Macau. The tangled and narrow alleys in the centre of Vila da Taipa abound with rural character and Portuguese street signs are painted on azulejos. The island's shops and light-colored houses would be equally at home in Portugal.
Although the Macau of today has much contemporary flair, it continues to enjoy a rich colonial inheritance that is well worth seeing.

What The Americans Did To These Innocent People, Men Women & So Many Children's Lives Taken And Wasted For What?
The atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan were conducted by the United States during the final stages of World War II in 1945. To date the two bombings are the only instance of the use of nuclear weapons in wartime.
Following a firebombing campaign that destroyed many Japanese cities, the Allies prepared for a costly invasion of Japan. The war in Europe ended when Nazi Germany signed its instrument of surrender on May 8, 1945, but the Pacific War continued. Together with the United Kingdom and the Rep

Fun nest overall. Devs really kicked up the difficulty of the nest if you do it on abyss mode haha. They made it a nice little challenge that in the end, caused a lot of parties to just run on easy mode or normal mode just to avoid the massive headaches that are stage 3 and stage 4 which is where most parties go bad at on abyss mode. Mechanics are easy to learn of course, just that if someone screws up on those 2 stages, it usually leads to a near party wipe ( and that's exactly what you can see happened at stage 4 on his first end bar mechanic where the acro jumped away to early and the ball didn't hit the pillar. Glad i at least used ulti to keep the ele and ML alive lol x.x ).
As far as LF's demand for this nest. It's no contest. Practically every party i've seen over the last 2 weeks or so that VN has been out for only ever wants a LF ( 曜 in Chinese ) . Can't blame them though. With 2 global heals in a nest with very large maps, i'd also feel more safe with a LF than a priest. Even ele's have a harder time getting into a abyss mode Volcano Nest Party than a LF ( and as you can see, it's not hard at all to get into a party even with crappy gear like mine, +6 70 A life lol). The party i was in with was pretty geared. The Moon Lord was a dark ML was using duel +12 BDN L ( with a dark conversion jade on the sword) and roughly 2kish fd or so, ele was wearing full BDN S +10 gear and the wind walker was wearing +10 80 A gear. So overall, dps wasn't much of an issue. It was just annoying mechanics we had to go through lol.
All in all though, fun nest overall. Might take a while before people start doing abyss mode more comfortably, but should be worth it in the end ( get so many crafting mat drops from clearing so it's very very easy money atm haha).
Build:
Just like ele and GM, most skills are capped from 70 cap. Only a few skills can be leveled further such as fan of edge, chakra of miracle and sunshine spark. And after maxing out the main support skills. I still had a bit of sp so i figured i'll just get the healing rabbit as well since i mainly use LF as a support. Strangely enough, the rabbit is kinda useful in Volcano Nest. It's small heals help minimize the impact of those 15k burn ticks and makes my job a bit easier to deal with. But as always, feel free to move the sp around to suit your play style. =P

Set during the early days of the Chinese Republic, 'The Magnificent' concentrates on the intrigues surrounding rulership of the country. While the Republicans have an unsteady control on the land, the remnants of the Ching royal lineage decide to try wrestle back influence over China. With this task in mind, the remaining Chings use famed General Hsiung (Sing) to amass forces to battle the Republicans for the nation's political power. In opposition to this plan is Republican leader Yao (Carter Wong) whose own allies pass on rumours of tension within the ranks and Hsiung's possible fightback. However, Hsiung's true motives come to light when he turns on his regal employers and announces his aim to become emperor himself. Ironically, Yao now has to join together with Ching princess Wang Ying in order to flee from an attempted ambush by Hsiung's men. The unlikely allies are now on the run from the enemy forces and also need to fight their way to Hsiung's stronghold to foil his plan. Along the way, their differing ideologies are put to one side and their concentration is fully on the traitorous General Hsiung.
Director Chan Siu Pang has crafted something that would be considered quite an achievement by many critics - an intelligent and exciting kung fu film. 'The Magnificent' is not a film that is frequently mentioned by genre buffs due to its relative anonymity, but it stands above better known kung-fu films due to the quality it displays in a number of key departments. As was said earlier, 'The Magnificent' is a production that prides itself on its strong plotting and subtle depth; Chan Siu Pang makes sure that, during the opening half an hour, it is difficult to categorise the 'heroes' and 'villains' This creates genuine intrigue and turns the characters from mere stereotypes into integral pieces of the narrative. Eventually, Chan Sing is presented as the antagonist of the piece and it is his exceptional professionalism that adds the necessary spark to the film's dynamic. Carter Wong - who has often been criticised for his wooden acting - is more than just effective in the heroic role, proving that his appearance in kung fu cinema is for more than just his physical appearance.
Although it can be emphasised how the cinematography is above average and the interesting use of locations adds untold interest, it is one particular cog in 'The Magnificent's machinery that cements its four star rating: Casanova Wong. Even in a supporting role, Wong dazzles with his furious bootwork and genuine screen presence. In one stand-out scene, facing a multitude of opponents, Casanova Wong unleashes a series of remarkable kicks that electrifies the screen. 'The Magnificent' is certainly above the genre's many fair to middling efforts, easily earning a recommendation for its many positive elements.

Okay, so it's early morning here in Yangshuo. It's about eight o'clock and the town is still sleepy. There is hardly any people on the street, so we're going to go have breakfast at our favorite Israeli restaurant and then we're going to bike around the area.
We've rented a couple of bikes and we've decided to spend our last morning exploring around the countryside areas of Yangshuo. They were pretty cheap. Just under two dollars for each bike.
Today we are visiting a local hill tribe that just lives a few hours outside of Guilin and we've come here because this community is known for the women's long hair. They grow it out and it's almost a meter and a half long and we're actually going to be watching a performance where they spin their hair and wrap it up and show us how they wear it.
So tonight is our very last night in Yangshuo, a charming little town in Southwestern China, so we're going to show you around the main strip.
background music playing.
So our first stop is going to be the street food market. I haven't eaten in maybe two hours, so it's time to get a snack. So you're officially starving. Starving. Ravenous!
Here we are at the Longji Rice Fields which are located just outside of Guilin. We've had such good luck. Check out the weather and the views behind.
Background music playing.
So we are hiking up to one of the viewing platforms. This is going to be tough because it's like forty degrees outside and we're been told it'll take 30 minutes to one hour depending on our pace. So I'm trying to stay hydrated. Audrey is going to have to workout today.
So we finally made it to Guilin. We've been waiting for things to cool down and now that it is evening we're going to give you a little tour of the place.
Background music playing.
So I'm not sure we want to be walking through that tunnel when it gets a bit later in the day because it is pretty dark in there and there are no lights. And people aren't using their headlights.
Background music playing.
When I was in Guilin two years ago this area right here used to all be traditional homes. One of my favorite restaurants was here. A really good Chinese restaurant. I used to love wandering around here. Now it's just new development.
Background music playing.
So this is the Guilin main square. It gets really busy here at night. Lots of shops, restaurants, eateries. You can do it all here.
Background music playing.
Chinese singing.
Background music playing.
So we are now at the lake and the main attraction are the these two pagodas that light up at night.
Background music playing.
Oh, that mapo tofu looks so good. Really generous sized portion.
Mix it in with my rice a bit.
Please don't be course.
Oh hot! Oh hot!
Too hot to handle?
It's nice and spicy. Really flavorful. Fresh tofu.

So this is the Guilin main square. It gets really busy here at night. Lots of shops, restaurants, eateries. You can do it all here.
Background music playing.
Chinese singing.
Background music playing.
So we are now at the lake and the main attraction are the these two pagodas that light up at night.

Oh, that mapo tofu looks so good. Really generous sized portion.
Mix it in with my rice a bit.
Please don't be course.
Oh hot! Oh hot!
Too hot to handle?
It's nice and spicy. Really flavorful. Fresh tofu.

Together with the United Kingdom and the Republic of China, the United States called on Japan to surrender in the Potsdam Declaration on July 26, 1945, threatening "prompt and utter destruction". The Japanese government ignored this ultimatum.
By August 1945, the Allied Manhattan Project had developed and tested atomic bombs, and the United States Army Air Forces 509th Composite Group was equipped with Silver plate Boeing B-29 Super fortress that could deliver them from Tinian in the Mariana Islands. With no response from the Japanese, the bombs were dropped with the approval of President Harry S. Truman. A Little Boy atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, followed by a Fat Man bomb on the city of Nagasaki on August 9. Within the first two to four months of the bombings, the acute effects killed 90,000--166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000--80,000 in Nagasaki, with roughly half of the deaths in each city occurring on the first day. During the following months, large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness. In both cities, most of the dead were civilians, although Hiroshima had a sizable garrison.
On August 15, six days after the bombing of Nagasaki, and seven days after the Soviet Union's declaration of war, Japan announced its surrender to the Allies, signing the Instrument of Surrender on September 2, officially ending World War II. The bombings' role in Japan's surrender and their ethical justification are still debated.

Also in 1946, the Hiroshima police estimated the dead at 78,150 and the missing at 13,983, for a total of about 92,000 if all the missing are presumed dead.
90,000-140,000 1945 deaths at Hiroshima out of a population of 310,000. The Hiroshima Peace Site website gives a figure of 140,000 deaths by December 1945, out of a population of 350,000. And the Guinness Book of Records gives a suspiciously precise figure of 155,200 killed by Little Boy, including deaths from radiation within one year.

Travel video about destination China.
China’s Imperial City is located in the centre of its ancient Middle Kingdom, a gigantic and inscrutable empire beyond the Great Wall.

Your Hong Kong tour must include visits to the many religious sites scattered around the city, where incense wafts from shrines and monasteries take over entire hillsides. You’ll have a marvelous time shopping in tax-free Hong Kong, where you’ll be able to find clothing, jewelry, furniture, and everything else under the sun.
Don’t forget about Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, which overlooks the stunning Victoria Harbor. From there, your Hong Kong sightseeing may detour to Central, the city’s main business district, which looks like something out of a sci-fi film. The observation deck atop the International Commerce Centre will show you fantastic views of the city.
Hong Kong isn’t all cityscape, of course; there are many gardens, parks, and other green spaces for you to explore. You’ll also find beaches, national parks, and quiet islands for you to indulge in natural beauty and serenity. This city truly has everything.

Half a Loaf of Kung Fu (Chinese: 一招半式闖江湖) o
r Dian zhi gong fu gan jian dan (Chinese: 點止功夫咁簡單) is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts action comedy film starring Jackie Chan, who was also action choreographer and co-writer. The story takes place in olden day China. Chan plays a traveling acrobat named Jiang who bumbles his way into a job at the mansion. After breaking house rules and upsetting the evil witch living in the guest room, Jiang comes across two kung fu masters dueling in the woods. He manages to escape without notice, and brings along the dead loser of the duel. He collects the reward and goes in search of a kung fu teacher. After several teachers dont work out Chan inlists the teachings of a beggar who is a kung fu master. He then goes on a journey with the beautiful princess to find the special Jade plant. Half a Loaf is a light hearted comedy/action movie known in its tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. The movie plays fun at melodramatic kung fu movies coming out of Hong Kong in the 70s. The movie opens with a bunch of short clips of near silent scenarios that show off Jackies kung fu skills and tell all facial expressions and visual humor. Chan plays a bumbling long haired acrobat named Jiang who really wants to practices kung fu. He finds an advertisement for work at the Mansion as a body guard. Jiang doesnt get the body guard position, but cons his way into a job using his kung fu skills, and gets himself into the middle of some shady business. He is told not to go near the guest room where the special guest is staying. A fellow employee tells Jiang that there is an evil witch who lives in the guest room and is not to be disturbed. Jiang of couse is caught spying on her and is run off the land. He then encounters two kung fu masters fighting in the woods. He watches one kill the other, and when he leaves Jiang takes the body into town to collect the reward. Using the money from the reward, Jiang tries to fulfill his kung fu dreams and find a master. He is suddenly attacked by the crazy witch and is about to lose until a mystery master shows up and beats her. The master turns out to be a bum, and teaches Jiang kung fu. He then goes on a journey with a princess to find the special jade plant. James Tien and Doris Lung Chur Erh co-stars.
