Prague (Czech: Praha) is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is the 15th largest city in the European Union. It is also the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava River, the city is home to about 1.24 million people, while its larger urban zone is estimated to have a population of nearly 2 million.
Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Prague ranked fifth in the Tripadvisor world list of best destinations in 2014. Prague is the fifth most visited European city after London, Paris, Istanbul and Rome.
Transport. Prague has about 130 bus lines (numbers 100-299) and 22 tram lines (numbers 1-26). There are also three funiculars, one on Petřín Hill, one on Mrázovka Hill and a third at the Zoo in Troja. All services have a common ticketing system, and are run by the Prague Public Transport Company. Taxi services make pick-ups on the streets or operate from regulated taxi stands. The Metro has three major lines extending throughout the city: A (green), B (yellow) and C (red). A fourth Metro line is planned, which would connect the city centre to southern parts of the city.
Cuisine. In 2008 the Allegro restaurant received the first Michelin star in the whole of the post-Communist part of Central Europe. It retained its star until 2011. As of 2012 there are two Michelin-starred restaurants in Prague (Alcron and La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise). In Malá Strana, Staré Město, Žižkov and Nusle there are hundreds of restaurants, bars and pubs, especially with Czech beer. Prague also hosts the Czech Beer Festival (Český pivní festival), which is the biggest beer festival in the Czech Republic, held for 17 days every year in May. At the festival, more than 70 brands of Czech beer can be tasted.
Beautiful and interesting. Recommended! :)

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is the 15th largest city in the European Union.[5] It is also the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava River, the city is home to about 1.24 million people, while its larger urban zone is estimated to have a population of nearly 2 million.[6] The city has a temperate climate, with warm summers and chilly winters. Prague has the lowest unemployment rate in the European Union.[7]
Prague has been a political, cultural, and economic centre of central Europe with waxing and waning fortunes during its 1,100-year existence. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was not only the capital of the Czech state, but also the seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire.[8][9] It was an important city to the Habsburg Monarchy and its Austro-Hungarian Empire and after World War I became the capital of Czechoslovakia. The city played major roles in the Protestant Reformation, the Thirty Years' War, and in 20th-century history, during both World Wars and the post-war Communist era.[10]

Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
The city boasts more than ten major museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits. An extensive modern public transportation system connects the city. Also, it is home to a wide range of public and private schools, including Charles University (Univerzita Karlova v Praze[11]). Prague is classified as an "Alpha-" global city according to GaWC studies, comparable to Vienna, Seoul and Washington, D.C. Its rich history makes it a popular tourist destination, and the city receives more than 4.4 million international visitors annually, as of 2011.[12] Prague ranked fifth in the Tripadvisor world list of best destinations in 2014.[13] Prague is the fifth most visited European city after London, Paris, Istanbul and Rome.[14]

Athens the capital and largest city of Greece. Athens dominates the Attica region and is one of the world's oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning around 3,400 years, and the earliest human presence around the 11th-- 7th millennium BC. Classical Athens was a powerful city-state that emerged in conjunction with the seagoing development of the port of Piraeus. A centre for the arts, learning and philosophy, home of Plato's Academy and Aristotle's Lyceum, 4 5 it is widely referred to as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy, 6 largely due to the impact of its cultural and political achievements during the 5th and 4th centuries BC on the rest of the then known European continent. In modern times, Athens is a large cosmopolitan metropolis and central to economic, financial, industrial, maritime, cultural and political life in Greece. In 2012, Athens was ranked the world's 39th richest city by purchasing power 9 and the 77th most expensive in a UBS study.
Athens is recognised as a global city because of its geo-strategic location and its importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts, international trade, tourism, culture and education. According to Eurostat in 2004, the Athens Larger Urban Zone (LUZ) was the 7th most populous LUZ in the European Union (the 5th most populous capital city of the EU), with a population of 4,013,368. Athens is also the southernmost capital on the European mainland.
The heritage of the classical era is still evident in the city, represented by ancient monuments and works of art, the most famous of all being the Parthenon, considered a key landmark of early Western civilization. The city also retains Byzantine and roman monuments, as well as a smaller number of Ottoman monuments.
Athens is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Acropolis of Athens and the medieval Daphni Monastery. Landmarks of the modern era, dating back to the establishment of Athens as the capital of the independent Greek state in 1834, include the Hellenic Parliament (19th century) and the Athens Trilogy, consisting of the National Library of Greece, the Athens University and the Academy of Athens. Athens was the host city of the first modern-day Olympic Games in 1896, and 108 years later it welcomed home the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Belfast ; from Irish: Béal Feirste, meaning "mouth of the sandbanks") is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland. Most of Belfast, including the city centre, is in County Antrim, but parts of East and South Belfast are in County Down. It is on the flood plain of the River Lagan.[12]
By population, Belfast is the 17th largest city in the United Kingdom and the second largest on the island of Ireland. It is the seat of the devolved government and legislative Northern Ireland Assembly.[13] At the time of the 2011 census, the city of Belfast had a population of 286,000[1] and lies at the heart of the Belfast Urban area, which has a population of 483,418[2] and the Belfast Metropolitan Area, which had a population of 579,276 at the 2001 census.[3] The Larger Urban Zone, as defined by the European Union, has a total population 641,638.[when?][citation needed] Belfast was granted city status in 1888.
Historically, Belfast has been a centre for the Irish linen industry (earning the nickname "Linenopolis"), tobacco production, rope-making and shipbuilding: the city's main shipbuilders, Harland and Wolff, which built the well-known RMS Titanic, propelled Belfast on to the global stage in the early 20th century as the biggest and most productive shipyard in the world.[citation needed] Belfast played a key role in the Industrial Revolution, establishing its place as a global industrial centre until the latter half of the 20th century. Industrialisation and the inward migration it brought made Belfast, if briefly, the biggest city in Ireland at the beginning of the 20th century, and the city's industrial and economic success was cited by unionist opponents of Home Rule as a reason why Ireland should shun devolution and later why Ulster unionists in particular would fight to resist it.
Today, Belfast remains a centre for industry, as well as the arts, higher education, business, and law, and is the economic engine of Northern Ireland. The city suffered greatly during the period of conflict called "the Troubles", but latterly has undergone a sustained period of calm, free from the intense political violence of former years, and substantial economic and commercial growth. Additionally, Belfast city centre has undergone considerable expansion and regeneration in recent years, notably around Victoria Square.

The origin of the name Praha is rather associated with the word prah (that means a 'threshold'), which is a rapid on the river. wn.com/Views Around The City Of Prague, Czech Republic July, 2015
The origin of the name Praha is rather associated with the word prah (that means a 'threshold'), which is a rapid on the river. Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. http://tourvideos.com/ Aix-en-Provence is so lovely that various French surveys have chosen it the most desirable city in which to live, due to the ambience of this special place. The modest population of just 150,000 residents gives it a small-town charm, yet Aix is big enough to provide all the necessities and comforts of urban living. Nearly 30 percent are university students, lending an air of youthful energy, culture and enthusiasm, plus you’ll always find budget places to eat when there are so many young people around.
The pedestrian zone is an idyllic urban landscape of pretty, low-rise buildings three and four centuries old, criss-crossed by a maze of tranquil pedestrian lanes lined with shops and cafes. This automobile-free zone is only about one half-mile across, so you can see most of it in a few hours, but it feels larger because the lanes are narrow and winding in a pleasant tangle.
You might sometimes find yourself going in circles, a bit lost, but that is part of the charm of exploring a place for the first time. Don’t be dismayed if you are walking along a lane for the second or third time, in an opposite direction – you will always notice new things to see. It’s a fact that we only absorb or notice a small fraction of the sights and stimuli around us, so a second and third visit down the same attractive lane can be quite entertaining.

POT TV - The Mernahuana Zone with Matt Mernagh & Lisa Campbell and produced by Vapor Central CEO Chris Goodwin. Tuesday April 7th 2015, from 7pm til 10:20pm, Weekly weed webcast The Mernahuana Zone celebrates its 200th episode with in front of a stoned studio audience at Vapor Central. TMZ is a pioneering ganja gonzo journalism live webcast with diverse influences creating a mashup best described as prohibitionist performance art. Mernagh & Goodwin have spent a decade combining theatrics and cannabis activism and their webcast began as an extension of these efforts.
However, U.S. state marijuana legalization has created a tremendous media market for the Toronto based TMZ because it’s a leader in producing professional cannabis content. None of the U.S. legal states have venues where people may publicly puff and TMZ showcases Vapor Central uniqueness. During the webcast Mernagh breaks down the fourth wall by taking dabs, sharing joints, offering bong rips, allowing studio questions and debate, while providing prohibition news in an entertaining fashion. They engage in fun stoner shenanigans such as making pumpkin bongs, hotboxing the lounge, and sometimes at home viewers are left to wonder is the audience trying to derail it by smoking the hosts out. Their audience is dedicated and TMZ refers to Vapor Central’s front rows as the people who don’t smoke schwag. Both their live and on-demand downloads from iTunes and SoundCloud continue to build a larger base of loyal listeners and viewers. Goodwin has devoted himself and Vapor Central financial resources to professional webcast production and Mernagh is focused on content development. Their diverse influences (gonzo journalism, comedy, talk radio) create a mashup that is best described as prohibitionist performance art.

Decaying haunted house ruins in the Appalacian foothills of Trion, Georgia. Corpsewood was a grisly murder scene in the early 80's. Dr. Charles L. Scudder & Joseph Odom were murdered brutally by Kenneth Avery Brock and Tony West.
Dr. Scudder, a professor from Illinois, moved to Trion in the 70's with his friend/butler Odem. They built Corpsewood Manor with their bare hands.
Many people report paranormal activity at this site and it has gotten national attention as well as the attention of famous paranormal investigators.
The reports of activity around the area range from the sounds of a harp being played to “ghost dogs”. It is rumored that the two were Satanists and at one point Dr. Scudder had summoned “The Beast”. It is unknown exactly what the beast is supposed to be. Some say it was a werewolf, others say it was a demonic entity, while others say it was simply referring to Beelzebub, the larger of Scudder beloved Mastiffs. Whether or not these two were gay, satanists, or whatever the world will never know. Very few people got to know Dr. Scudder and Mr. Odom and the few that did refuse to shed light on the situation. If one place in Georgia is truly haunted, I believe it is Corpsewood Manor. After all two men finally found the peaceful existence they had always dreamed of and it was cut short by two drug addicts.
Long ago when Dr. Charles Scudder was an associate professor in the Chicago area an, it's believed he was involved in LSD 25 experimentation, satanic worship, contact with Anton LaVey, the icon of the Church of Satan as well. It is believed written correspondence still exists which supports his relationships with such individual.
Located in the NW Georgia Mountains, Corpsewood Manor was the dream home of Dr. Charles Scudder and his friend/housekeeper Joey Odom. Dr Scudder was a professor of pharmacology at Loyola University in Chicago prior to moving to Georgia in the mid 1970’s. In an effort to escape the urban lifestyle, Charles Scudder purchased 40 acres in an area known as Taylor’s Ridge. Charles and his friend/housekeeper (also rumored lover although no proof exists the two were ever lovers) sold or gave away any possesions that had no sentimental meaning to them. They then packed up and made the long journey from Chicago to Georgia. The first item on their agenda was to clear and excavate the land where their mansion would sit. After all that work was completed they began building the house brick by brick and two years later Corpsewood Manor (aka A Castle in the Woods) was complete.
The mansion had no running water or electricity. Most of their food came from their gardens and what could not be grown or made by the two men was purchased at a local store with the modest $200 a month interest on Dr Scudder’s retirement. They had a generator to supply power if needed and had chemical toilets or outhouses for restrooms. The two lived a life of peace and tranquility til that faithful night in 1982.
December 12, 1982 Kenneth Avery Brock and Tony West enacted a plot to rob the two men of their riches although unbeknownst to Brock and West there was no valuables or money in the mansion. Somehow over the period of the night the robbery plot turnedinto cold blooded murder. Scudder had gone with the two deviants to allegedly do drugs in the kitchen house and he was bound and gagged. When Brock and West asked Scudder to hand over the money, Scudder replied there was none and Brock headed to the house. Brock killed Joey Odom and Scudder’s beloved English Mastiffs then returned to the chicken house for Scudder. Scudder was lead back to the house by Brock where he discovered the bodies of Odom and his beloved dogs. Brock demanded the money again and Scudder told him there was none. Dr Scudder’s last words were ” I asked for this” before being shot six times by Brock.

Not only by means of protection, but moreover as a physical manifestation of the idea of an evolutionary urban landscape. Furthermore pro-active landscapes represent the 'public' aspect of space like no other and are therefore true political instruments. As ZUS was part of the Rebuild by Design competition team MIT CAU + ZUS + Urbanisten their project New Meadowlands will be presented for the first time to a larger audience. Within the relatively confined space of the urban center social classes, ethno-religious groups, and competing political factions are forced to engage with each other producing unique cultural forms, systems, and processes. Colonial cities present some of the most dynamic examples of this phenomenon. Southeast Asia is home to a number of cities shaped by the history of colonialism with Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, providing an ideal case study for exploring the urban colonial encounter. This documentary examines the ways in which French colonial rule shaped Phnom Penh from the late 19th century to the 1930s. In particular, the film analyzes the relationship between architecture and imperial rule, arguing that the colonial city created a unique style specific to that distinct historical moment, all the while placing this historical transformation within the larger context of Cambodian history.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: ATTENTION ALL VIEWERS! We are eager to get in contact with the two men involved in this unfortunate incident. Anyone who can provide the direct contact information (phone number and/or email) for either one of these men, or both, will be rewarded with a free Limited Edition Helio Gracie HG100 Gi or any Gracie Gear item from the Gracie Store.
We don't know anything about the larger man, but we know that the smaller of the two men goes by the alias "DJ Freakie London," and there are some fake twitter accounts in his name, but we need more reliable contact information.
If you, or anyone you know, has reliable contact information, please send it to info@gracieacademy.com (Subject: Street Fight) as soon as possible.
We can assure you that our intentions in contacting these men are in their best interest. Time is of the essence, please share this post and let's make it happen!

Original Description
Viewer Discretion Advised: NOT Suitable for Young Viewers!
In this special edition Gracie Breakdown, Ryron and Rener analyze a street fight that took place at a gas station in Arizona between a New York DJ "Freekie London" and a "Truck Driver." Although most Gracie Breakdowns analyze the successful jiu-jitsu application of one or both of the fighters, Ryron and Rener take this opportunity to point out the threats, dangers, and excessive damage that occurs when jiu-jitsu is NOT part of the equation. They discuss everything from how to avoid altercations by managing the "combative energy" of an interaction, to the critical differences between Sport and Street behavioral patterns that every jiu-jitsu pracitioner must be aware of. Although it's hard to watch, this is unquestionably one of the most important Gracie Breakdowns of all time. Please share it with other members of the jiu-jitsu community.
