Richard B. Riddick (played by Vin Diesel), more commonly known simply as Riddick, is the antihero of four films in the Riddick series, namely Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, the animated movie The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury and the upcoming Riddick; as well as the two video games The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.
Within the canon of the series, he is shown to be a highly skilled individual - he is extremely mobile especially for someone of his size, has a vast knowledge of how to kill almost any humanoid in a variety of ways, is a survivalist, and is extremely hard to contain, he is also a dangerous convict, and murderer - yet despite this, he is sometimes shown to perform moral or even atypically heroic actions, usually against his better judgement.
Riddick is one of the last of his kind. One of his most defining features are his eyes which have been "shined"—this allows him to see in the dark with no difficulty at all.
Riddick Lamont Bowe (born August 10, 1967, Brooklyn, New York City) is an American professional boxer. He is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, first winning the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in 1992, becoming Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. Bowe's second reign as Heavyweight champion was in 1995 when he won the WBO title. Bowe retired in 1996 but made a return to the ring in 2004. He has currently been inactive since 2008.
Riddick Bowe holds notable victories over Tony Tubbs, Bruce Seldon, Pierre Coetzer, Evander Holyfield (x2), Herbie Hide and Andrew Golota (x2). Riddick Bowe became the first fighter to defeat Holyfield when he beat him in 1992 for the World Heavyweight title. He then became the first fighter knock Holyfield out, when he beat him in their rubber match in 1995. Currently, Bowes professional boxing record stands at 43-1-0 (1 NC) with 33 KO'S. Buster Mathis, Jr. is the only opponent Bowe has fought but has not defeated, due to their No Contest in 1994. Riddick Bowe was ranked as the 21st Greatest Heavyweight of all time by Boxing Scene.
Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is a retired American professional boxer. Tyson is a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles at 20 years, 4 months and 22 days old. Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, with 12 of them occurring in the first round. He won the WBC title in 1986 after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round. In 1987, Tyson added the WBA and IBF titles after defeating James Smith and Tony Tucker. He was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight to individually unify them.
In 1988, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in the first 91 seconds of the fight. Tyson successfully defended the world heavyweight championship nine times, including victories over Larry Holmes and Frank Bruno. Tyson lost his titles to 42-to-1 underdog James "Buster" Douglas on February 11, 1990, in Tokyo, Japan, by a knockout in round 10. Tyson continued in his quest to regain the titles, defeating Donovan Ruddock twice in 1991. Tyson was then scheduled to take on the undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield but pulled out due to injury.
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio
You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds, invaded by Mars
You made 'em laugh, you made 'em cry
You made us feel like we could fly
So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You had your time you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio what's new
Radio someone still loves you
We watch the the shows, we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years.
Let's hope you never leave old friend
Like all good things on you we depend
So stick around cause we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual
You had your time you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo, radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo, radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio what's new
