    KINDRED: 12 QUEER STORIES has officially been launched! 🥳 It was a magnificent night. Thank you so much to and all of the contributors, and everyone who joined us. I am really proud of this book, and I hope you love it.

    I had a poem published in the section of because believed in me & gave me a 2017 fellowship, focused on poetry. Applications for the 2019 fellowship are open until June 10, disabled writers!

    Tens of thousands of gay people were arrested, tortured, sent to concentration camps and murdered by fascists. They were treated with exceptional violence and cruelty. I cannot even begin to explain how deeply, deeply homophobic it is to call queers fascists

    I’M DEVASTATED New plan dropped, wheelchair frame funded, no wheels! Needed the power assist wheels last year after losing my breasts! I’m on the floor crying over how undignified all of this is. My dignity and autonomy is impacted. How is this ok?

    Make the application accesssible. Have embedded mentorship and support. It's so arduous and inaccessible, and you need to know the language of grant assessors and government which a lot of marginalised people don't. -
