"We were at the concert and I was really nervous about going on stage you know and Joe suggested that we sing a song from the movie. We did and it felt so good mom, I wasn't scared at all. Diane yelled, Demi jumped up glaring at her. "Then I'm moving out.' Demi replied calmly, she headed up stairs went to her room and grabbed her suitcase. "Where will you go, no one wants you with them. Your a charity case now Demi." Diane said smirking, she had always been jealous that her daughter had become so famous. She knew that she had had problems but had waited to go and get her treatment. "I know some people who would take me in." Demi said softly, she folded her close shut the suitcase and headed back down the stairs. "Get back here Demi, once you walk out that door your no longer a part of this family!" Diane screamed, Dallas and their step-dad stood their mouth's hanging open. "I never felt like i belonged anyways." Demi said softly, she hugged Dallas and kissed her dad's cheek then not looking at her mom she shut the door and went to her car. 'I can't believe she did that." "I dont know I think we'll just be friends again for a while." Joe said softly, they watched him walk off and then yelled in excitement. "he finally did it.!" Denise squealed happily, they all chuckled and hugged each other **an hour later** "Joe can you get that please!" Paul called out, they had been hit by a sudden thunderstorm that had cut off the power luckily they had a back up generator. "Sure dad." Joe said sighing, he went over and opened the door. "Joe" Demi said softly, he saw her and his eyes widened, she was completely soaked through, she launched herself into his arms and started sobbing. "Mom, Dad! Get over here!" Denise said surprised, Joe lifted her up, he could feel her skin was ice cold and he carried her to the living room. "Paul get blankets and one of Joe's old t-shirts and some towels. Nick go help him you too Frankie!" Denise yelled, everyone ran off doing as they were told. "Don't worry, i got her luggage!" Kevin called out grabbing the two suitcases, everyone paused and looked at him surprised. "Lets not worry about that now.' Denise said Joe laid her down on the couch they didn't care that she was soaking ewt and muddy. "Joe, Kevin get out. I need to take off her clothes and get her dry." Denise ordered, Kevin ran out and Joe followed glancing back worried. "Here hun." paul said walking over he handed her Joe's shirt and some towels. "Thanks dear, now go sit with the boys I need you to keep an eye on Joe.' She ordered, he chuckled and headed back to the kitchen. "Is Demi going to be okay?" Frankie asked worried, "of course she will be." Joe said smiling gently. "she's just really could so mom has to get her warmed up." **an hour later** "Alright, she's awake." Denise announced walking into the kitchen. "did she say anything?" Joe asked curiously standing up, they followed him to the living room. "No, I think she's waiting for all of us." Denise replied, they sat down on chairs and waited patiently. "What happened Demi?" Kevin asked curiously, Demi shivered a little pulling the blankets close. "Well I got hom and told mom and dad that you guys had helped me out at the concert and mom freaked. She said that if I remained under house that I couldn't have anything to do with you guys. So i told her I was moving out, i went up to my room and started packing some clothes mom followed me and told me that i would have nowhere to go because i was a charity case now that I was out of the center. I told her that i would find somewhere to stay and then headed back downstairs. She screamed at me and told me that if I walked out the door that I was no longer a part of the family. I told her that i hadn't felt like i belonged in a really long time and left." Demi explained, their mouths were hanging open except Frankie who was too busy hugging her to death. "How did you end up here half drowned?" Joe demanded confused, Demim smiled a little blushing. "ugh my car stalled so I grabbed my stuff and started walking." She explained. *5 com pls*
