The BMW VIIa was a water-cooled twelve-cylinder engine derived from the successful BMW VI.

Unlike the BMW VI unit, it had the magnetos arranged in front of the cylinder banks in order to simplify maintenance. The BMW was employed for the first forced-aspiration experiments with a "mixture blower" (a radial fan located behind the carburettor); this led in due course to the development of the BMW IX aircraft engine. Only a few examples of the BMW VII went into operation, in the single-engined version of the Junkers Ju 52, for example, and in the Dornier Wal which Wolfgang von Gronau flew around the world in 1932.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG  pronunciation (help·info) (BMW; English: Bavarian Motor Works) is a German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company founded in 1917. BMW is headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It also owns and produces the Mini marque, and is the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. BMW produces motorcycles under BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna brands. In 2010, the BMW group produced 1,481,253 automobiles and 112,271 motorcycles across all its brands.

BMW was established as a business entity following a restructuring of the Rapp Motorenwerke aircraft engine manufacturing firm in 1917. After the end of World War I in 1918, BMW was forced to cease aircraft engine production by the terms of the Versailles Armistice Treaty. The company consequently shifted to motorcycle production in 1923, once the restrictions of the treaty started to be lifted, followed by automobiles in 1928–29.

JungleTac's Sport Vii (威力棒) is a video game console similar in aspect to Nintendo's Wii. Originally released in China in 2007, according to Engadget China the console used to sell for 1,280 Yuan (approximately US$195); as of 2009 the Vii sells for a substantially lower price at 443 Yuan (approximately US$68.) The Vii is not a competitive console in the current generation; instead, it competes in the "plug-in TV game" genre of inexpensive consoles with built-in games. It is based on the 16-bit Sunplus SPG CPU.

The Vii's Handybar controller is similar in design to the Wii Remote but is smaller in size. It features motion detection but not the pointing capability of the Wii Remote.

A redesign of the console, colloquially called the Vii 2 by bloggers, features remodeled controllers and a console design reminiscent of the Nintendo Entertainment System and the PlayStation 3, as well as support for both NTSC and PAL televisions.
