Anyone who loves Gregorian Chant should buy this CD to hear the recording of In exitu Israel. The verses alternate between Latin and Hebrew. It is a perfect illustration of the continuity between Gregorian Chant and the music of the synagogue.

As a catechist I was overjoyed to see the new Compendium of the Catechism. It is an excellent tool for adult catechesis. Although the big "Catechism of the Catholic Church" is indespensable for the catechist, this new smaller Compendium is less intimidating to those who are new to the Catholic faith and it contains all of the teachings of the larger Catechism in a way that is much more accesible. The Catholic Prayers section is excellent, too.

It can be difficult to use a classical dictionary when translating ecclesiastical texts. This dictionary makes it so much easier by focusing on the words that are more common in later, ecclesiastical Latin. The translation of common ecclesiastical phrases is wonderful, too. I highly recommend it for those who are interested in Catholic theology, liturgy, or Canon Law.
