The Guidestones Series – Free and In Full

guidestonesHave you heard of the Georgia Guidestones? Many a disinfonaut will be familiar with the modern megalithic site in Elberton, Georgia, profiled in our short film presented by Raymond Wiley. You may also recall that some of the speculation involves theories about the Rosicrucians or other shadowy “elites” creating the Guidestones as a marker for a New World Order.

Who knows, maybe one day we’ll find out for sure. Until then the mystery has inspired the Emmy Award winning web video series Guidestones, which we are proud to present in its entirety, binge-viewing ready, free on Vimeo (or you can pay for it on iTunes…).*

Here’s Season 1; Season two will go live on or about August 21st. All episodes will remain available for free streaming through the end of September, 2015.

Choose the “Buy All” option and code “guidestones” to view for free.

Stewart Lee on Political Correctness

From 41st Best Stand Up Ever (2008). Commentary over the video is from Lee’s book, “How I Escaped My Certain Fate: The Life and Deaths of a Stand-Up Comedian.”

“If political correctness has achieved one thing, it’s to make the conservative party cloak its inherent racism behind more creative language.”

“Even in my carefully filtered crowds, to which I attempt to apply the most thorough social-screening procedures, there could be trouble. When I did this bit in Hastings, where a sixteen-year-old Qatari student was randomly murdered by a white gang in 2008, some guys started shouting out ‘rag-heads, rag-heads’, and it was hard to plot a course back to the core of the routine as I saw it when the vibe of the room had been thus altered. They apologised, embarrassed, at the end, and I think they were just overexcited.”

“I’m absolutely sick of people blaming the restrictions created by health and safety culture, itself exacerbated in turn by a trend towards increased litigation, on the political and ideological doctrine of political correctness.… Read the rest

The Dunwich Horror by H.P. Lovecraft

Narrated by Caden Clegg

Via Chilling Tales For Dark Nights on YouTube:

“The Dunwich Horror,” written in 1928 and first published in Weird Tales in April 1929, is a short story by H. P. Lovecraft, and takes place in the isolated, desolate and decrepit village of Dunwich. It revolves around Wilbur Whateley, the hideous son of Lavinia Whateley, a deformed and unstable albino mother, and an unknown father. Strange events surround Wilbur’s birth and precocious development. He matures at an abnormal rate, reaching manhood within a decade. Locals shun him and his family, and animals fear and despise him. All the while, his sorcerer grandfather indoctrinates him into certain dark rituals and the study of witchcraft. Various locals grow suspicious after Old Whateley buys more and more cattle, yet the number of his herd never increases, and the cattle in his field become mysteriously afflicted with severe open wounds.
