A magnetic field is a mathematical description of the magnetic influence of electric currents and magnetic materials. The magnetic field at any given point is specified by both a direction and a magnitude (or strength); as such it is a vector field. The magnetic field is most commonly defined in terms of the Lorentz force it exerts on moving electric charges. There are two separate but closely related fields to which the name 'magnetic field' can refer: a magnetic B field and a magnetic H field.
Magnetic fields are produced by moving electric charges and the intrinsic magnetic moments of elementary particles associated with a fundamental quantum property, their spin. In special relativity, electric and magnetic fields are two interrelated aspects of a single object, called the electromagnetic field tensor; the split of this tensor into electric and magnetic fields depends on the velocity of the observer. In quantum physics, the electromagnetic field is quantized and electromagnetic interactions result from the exchange of photons.

There are two types of permanent magnet magnetic field cancelations. Working machines can be made from both principles. Flux cancelation or the first is very well known and is used in machine systems far and wide. The second is - not - well known in the least. This second principle or field force cancellation is what most inventors seek out to try and produce a self sustaining machine, over-unity machine, perpetual machine, etc. This machine can be made but it is semi-self-sustaining. It is a machine like all others. It wares down, break down, has friction, wastes energy with heat and vibrations, etc.
Magnetic field cancelation is - not - magnetic shielding. These are two different things. The device on the video above is constructed well enough to show the principle. It is not flawless but workable and gets the point across. The cancelation is along the horizontal X coordinate line and not the Y or Z coordinate lines. The magnets will pull the cancelation metal back to itself along the Y or Z lines.
Testing this takes about $30-$40 depending on the size of the magnets and how well you want to test with precision and accuracy. A working machine can not be made with - ONLY - permanent magnetic fields. You need two or more fields or forces or energy systems. This is because permanent magnet force alone give no net force to do work.
