Marseille ( /mɑrˈseɪ/; also Marseilles in English; French: [maʁsɛj], locally: [mɑχˈsɛjə]; Occitan: Marselha [maʀˈsejɔ, maʀˈsijɔ]), known in antiquity as Massilia or Massalia (from Greek: Μασσαλία), is the second largest city in France, after Paris, with a population of 852,395 within its administrative limits on a land area of 240.62 km2 (93 sq mi). The urban area of Marseille extends beyond the city limits with a population of over 1,420,000 on an area of 1,204 km2 (465 sq mi). 1,530,000 or 1,601,095 people live in the Marseille metropolitan area, ranking it third among French metropolitan areas after Paris and Lyon. Located on the southeast coast of France, Marseille is France's largest city on the Mediterranean coast and largest commercial port. Marseille is the capital of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, as well as the capital of the Bouches-du-Rhône department. Its inhabitants are called Marseillais.
Marseille is the second largest city in France after Paris and the centre of the third largest metropolitan area in France after Paris and Lyon. To the east, starting in the small fishing village of Callelongue on the outskirts of Marseille and stretching as far as Cassis, are the Calanques, a rugged coastal area interspersed with small fjords. Further east still are the Sainte-Baume, a 1,147 m (3,763 ft) mountain ridge rising from a forest of deciduous trees, the town of Toulon and the French Riviera. To the north of Marseille, beyond the low Garlaban and Etoile mountain ranges, is the 1,011 m (3,317 ft) Mont Sainte Victoire. To the west of Marseille is the former artists' colony of l'Estaque; further west are the Côte Bleue, the Gulf of Lion and the Camargue region in the Rhône delta. The airport lies to the north west of the city at Marignane on the Étang de Berre.
Patrick Fiori (born Patrick Jean-François Chouchayan on 23 September 1969 in Marseille, France) is a French singer.
Fiori was born to an Armenian father (Jacques Chouchayan) and a Corsican mother (Marie Antoinette Fiori) in Marseille, France. When he was only 12 years old, he was offered his first role in the musical La légende des santonniers. At the age of 17, he recorded his first single, entitled "Stéphanie". In 1993, Fiori came fourth place in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Mama Corsica". The following year, his first album was released, entitled Puisque c'est l'heure. His successful audition for the musical Notre Dame de Paris enabled him to originate the role of Phoebus both onstage and in the recording studio. With Daniel Lavoie and Garou, he recorded the successful song "Belle". The following year, Patrick signed a contract with Sony and recorded his 3rd album Prends Moi (Take me). Patrick finally decided to end his role in Notre Dame de Paris in the year 2000 in order to dedicate more time to his fourth album, Chrysalide. Two years after, his fifth album was released and in 2008 the album Les choses de la vie was released, followed by the most recent album "L'instinct masculin". His 2007 single "4 Mots sur un piano" was number one in the French charts for 2 weeks.

Robot Terror from Space!
Captain Alex Hamilton: Meela, you're the one who's lost contact with life. You've let yourself be conditioned by machines.
Here we are, the two of us together
Don't know where we end or where we start
Been through so many stages
But we're on two different pages
Maybe we're just better off apart
CHORUS:
It's so hard to say goodbye
We'll throw down the gloves and in the towel
Just let it ride
It's so hard cause we both know
When the curtain falls and the bloom is off the rose
We're just holding on to letting go
And who knows, will it be for the better?
Maybe it'll be for the worse
Though I try to love you
And I want to make it work
All it does is make me hurt
CHORUS
Did we get enough, or expect too much?
Do we tough it out, or just give up?
CHORUS
We're just holding on
Miles away, far from home
This old diesel keeps moving on
Highway signs and red taillights
Is all I have with me tonight
This tired heart and lonely wheels
No one knows the way I feel
Desert wind, carry me
I would fly if I had wings
I'm stuck behind the wheel
Down this long hard road
Miles away
Far from home
And it rained through most of Montana
All the way down to Colorado
I got a little sleep in Santa Fe
But in sight there's stormy weather
It's been so long since we've been together
I'm missin' you more and more each day
Won't be long, I'm almost there
I'll fill 'er up and say a prayer
Desert wind, carry me
I would fly if I had wings
I'm stuck behind the wheel
I'm rollin' down this long hard road
Miles away
Far from home
Miles away, far from home
Let's get crazy and go for a ride,
It's quarter past five.
We'll go anywhere but here...
Old Rand McNally we'll leave behind,
Trust me, we'll be just fine.
We can unwind.
No doubts, no lies,
Bye-bye, baby, let's drive!
Na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana...
Let your hair out,
Kick your feet up;
Don't slow down,
Can't get enough.
Cause if you really wanna know,
Go on and let's go,
Baby, you and me, and the windshield.
Singing na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana...
We can play 99 bottles of beer on the wall,
Man, it don't matter at all;
Cause I'm with you.
We can drive all day; enjoy the ride,
Pull off when we get tired.
Feels good, alright,
On the hood, baby, you and me tonight.
Sleep tight!
Na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana
Let your hair out,
Kick your feet up;
Don't slow down,
Can't get enough.
Cause if you really wanna know,
Go on and let's go,
Baby, you and me and the windshield.
Singing na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana...
Baby, you and me, and the windshield...
Na na na nana na nana, nana na nana
Cause if you really wanna know,
Go on and let's go,
Baby, you and me and the windshield.
Singing na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana...
Singing na na na, na na na, na na na nana nana...
I left the West coast watched the palm trees wave goodbye
It was a hard drive had to say goodbye to you
I stopped for some Coca-Cola and some corn nuts too
I thought about turnin' back I already missed you
If you need me burn it up bend the rules leave right away
If you need me take a four lane headed my way
Take a bus, take a plane , take a car, take a train
Take a bike, hitch a ride you decide
If you need me you know where I'll be in Tennessee
Goin' through my boxes found a photograph
Where you're sittin' on a mule in Mexico
Picture perfect point of view
An then a postcard dropped from a book you gave me on my birthday
An it hit me, baby
If you need me burn it up bend the rules leave right away
If you need me take a four lane headed my way
Take a bus, take a plane, take a car, take a train
Take a bike, hitch a ride you decide
If you need me leave L.A. we'll take it day by day
All alone, here I am by the phone
Understand it's not too late what are you waiting' for?
If you need me you know where I'll be, yeah in Tennessee
Well, it's a Sunday mornin' I awake it's just another lonely day
I lie in bed and wonder how long is this gonna take
Then I think to myself will I ever get a break?
Did I make a big mistake?
Well, I light the fire, I draw the bubble bath
Hey, you do the math
It's just me an I'm without you
What else could I do
If you need me burn it up bend the rules leave right away
If you need me take a four lane headed my way
Take a bus, take plane, take a car, take a train
Take a bike, hitch a ride you decide
Third grade, bell rings
Kamikazes on the playground swings
We teeter-tottered
And played on the merry-go-round
She had it tough, she didn't have much
I said, "Come on over you can share my stuff"
Here's my G.I. Joe, my comic book
My grandpa's collection of fishing hooks
My wiffle ball bat, my Dodgers baseball cap
If you like fast cars, sorry this aren't real
But we can race my Ferrari Hot Wheels
I'm willin' to give you my bike
If you won't break it
Go on and take it
High school, math class
I was failin' 'til she helped me pass
She cheered me on
When I hit the winnin' home run
She had torn jeans and worn out shoes
I said, "What's mine is yours to use"
Here's my letter jacket, my high school ring
My locker combination, you can take anything
My autographed picture of Johnny Cash
And if you like rock 'n' roll, then here take these
My mint collection of Beatle LP's
I'm willin' to give you my car
If you won't break it
Well, go on and take it
A few years later we were closer than ever
Spendin' more and more time together
I took her down to the Stony Creek river
Somethin' more that I had to give her
Here's
The key to my house, now it's your house too
Here's some wild flowers that I picked for you
A bottle of wine, it's been aging since '69
Here's a diamond ring my grandma wore
She said, "In time you'll find the one it's for"
I'm willin' to give you my heart
If you won't break it
Well, go on and take it
Go on and take it
Every morning when the sun comes up
On the east side, I catch a buzz
Lying next to you, roll over, and kiss your cheek
Just because
And the paper comes we pour a cup of Joe
Hey baby, there?s something I want you to know
If you need a hand, hold on
I?ll be there beside you
If you stumble, I won?t let you fall
I?ll be right behind you
If you find you?re losing your way
I?ll be the one to guide you home
You?re not alone
I?m behind the sunshine and in the wind that blows
I?m your shadow
Na na na na
Na na na na na, na na
When the sun goes down, what a sight
I thank you, girl, for bein? part of my life
Then we order take-out, turn on the tube
I rub your back because I want to
Then we wash our faces and brush our teeth
Time to go to bed, but even in your dream
If you need a hand, hold on, I?ll be there beside you
If you stumble, I won?t let you fall, I?ll be right behind you
If you find you?re losing your way
I?ll be the one to guide you home
You?re not alone
I?m behind the sunshine
And in the wind that blows
I?m your shadow, your shadow
If you need a hand, hold on
I?ll be there beside you
If you stumble, I won?t let you fall
I?ll be right behind you
If you find you?re losing your way
I?ll be the one to guide you home
You?re not alone
I?m behind the sunshine
And in the wind that blows
I?m your shadow
Na na na na
Na na na na na, na na
Your shadow
Your shadow
Na na na na
Na na na na na, na na
Every morning when the sun comes up
Now maybe I should play it cool,
Cause I don't wanna be the type to come out too strong
When you move the way you're moving
I like to think about is me coming your [?]
And I know that you got it through but
The way you're looking at me makes me feels like you know
So baby can you take my hand, let be your man, leaving [?]
I'm sitting here trying to get my wording right
Gotta leave you with my life, don't wanna let you walk away
Just wanna be the one that you get close to
Now let me have you like a man is supposed to
The second you gave up on that, but I think you should give me one more [?] dance
I'll get you down [?] can you put on, can you put me on, can't you put me on, can you put me on
Let's make it clear for the rest to see that I'm your man
And I'm giving you the best of me, so if you [?] can you put me on, can you put me on, can you put me on, can you put me on
Now baby ain't on point in rushing, no, we got to keep the time let's take it this slow
I'm giving you all of my loving, you see me on the everything, just go with the flow
And yet it spreads across the globe, [?] to my show, [?] nothing compared to you
So if you trust me with your heart, we'll never be apart, everything I [?] is true
I'm sitting here trying to get my wording right
To tell you that I want you to be the woman in my life
Just wanna be the one that you get close to
Now let me have you like a man is supposed to
The second you gave up on that, but I think you should give me one more [?] dance
I'll get you down [?] can you put on, can you put me on, can't you put me on, can you put me on
Let's make it clear for the rest to see that I'm your man
It was noon time, down time, break time
Summertime, miller time, anytime
She was looking pretty fine
A red light, green light, go
All fired upside downtown
She was shaking me all around
I was tuned in, going nowhere, second wind
Jone sing, drooling, feeling good, if you would
Oh yeah, by the way she moves
She's got me rolling in dirt in a white T-Shirt
Breaker breaker 1-9 she's a big ol' flirt
By now she's got me pretty tied up
Tied down, any way I chose
I got nothin' to lose
In like Flynn, I was
Looking for the win
Just trying anything, hey
Baby, where you been
All my life I've been looking for
Someone like you
Falling head over heels
Hey what can I do
Oh yeah, by the way she moves
She's got me rolling in dirt in a white T-Shirt
Breaker breaker 1-9 she's a big ol' flirt
By now she's got me pretty tied up
Tied down, any way I chose
I got nothin' to lose
Now I'm in the fast lane going 98
By now I know she can smooth operate me
I'd know now she's no goody two shoes
But hey, I got myself nothin' to lose
Oh yeah, by the way she moves
She's got me rolling in dirt in a white T-Shirt
Breaker breaker 1-9 she's a big ol' flirt
By now she's got me pretty tied up
Tied down, any way I chose
I got nothin' to lose
Oh yeah, by the way she moves
She's got me rolling in dirt in a white T-Shirt
Breaker breaker 1-9 she's a big ol' flirt
By now she's got me pretty tied up
Tied down, any way I chose
I got nothin' to lose
Noon time, down time, break time
Summertime, miller time, any time
She was looking pretty fine
In like Flynn I was looking for the win
Just trying anything, hey baby where you been
All my life I been looking for someone like you
Falling head over heels hey, what can I do
I came out here trying to make a dent trying to soothe my discontent
L.A. wasn't worth the rent I was paying
You'd love the fall in Tennessee all the red and golden leaves
Maybe you can come visit me just end up staying
Can you pick up the phone, are you ever home?
Can't you hear it ringing baby, doggone
All you ever say is the same ol' thing,
"I'll call you right back, leave your number and your name"
You're way out there, and I'm way out here
Trying to get these dreams of mine in gear
How I'd love to hear you say you love me too
But I keep on missing you, I keep on missing you
Cooking up some mac and cheese watching three channel TV
It ain't exactly easy street I'm living on
Some people think that I'm pretty good like you always said they would
I'm putting heart and soul to strings and wood
I'd tell you 'bout it baby if I could
Can you pick up the phone, are you ever home?
Can't you hear it ringing baby, doggone?
All you ever say is the same ol' thing
"I'll call you right back, leave your number and your name"
You're way out there, and I'm way out here
Trying to get these dreams of mine in gear
How I'd love to hear you say you love me too
But I keep on missing you
Can you pick up the phone, are you ever home?
Can't you hear it ringing baby, doggone?
All you ever say is the same ol' thing
"I'll call you right back, leave your number and your name"
You're way out there, and I'm way out here
Trying to get these dreams of mine in gear
How I'd love to hear you say you love me too
But I keep on missing you, I keep on missing you
If I were to walk a hundred miles
If I were a stranger from another land
What would you say, what would you do
Would you lend me your hand?
Though I try to make you smile
At times I bring you no harmony
From where I stand, my point of view
I just want you to be happy
And I won't hold you down
I won't hold you down
I will let you go, I won't pull you back
I think you know me better than that
I won't hold you down
I know I'm away most of the time
And I'm sorry for the price you've paid
If you must go, I'll understand
Please believe me when I say
I won't hold you down
I won't hold you down
I will let you go, I won't pull you back
I think you know me better than that
I won't hold you down
How you feel, and the road you choose
I hope that you succeed
But I thank you for the time we shared
And I'm sorry that you have to leave
And I won't hold you down
I won't hold you down
I will let you go, I won't pull you back
I think you know me better than that
And I won't hold you down
I won't hold you down
I won't hold you down
I will let you go, I won't pull you back
I think you know me better than that
When I grow up, I wanna play guitar
Sing my songs and go real far
I wanna be a country rock star
I grew up with the radio on
It was AM-FM all day long
With hopes and dreams that I would be
Singin' my songs on MTV
I liked Guns ?n Roses, Johnny Cash
John Cougar Mellencamp, the Knack
Singin' oh, My-Ma-Ma-Ma-My Sharona
I ?Hurt So Good? in a ?Ring of Fire?
?American Pie?, ?I Will Survive?
The Bee Gees sang, I was ?Stayin? Alive?
I was singin' that song on the radio
Rock on
Had my ?Blue Suede Shoes? on
Developin' a little lockjaw, yee-haw
Doin' the Michael J moonwalk just for fun
?Boot Scootin? Boogie? with Brooks and Dunn
I was singin' in the shower
I was singin' in the rain
I was singin' on the way to work in my car
I wanna be a country rock star
Singin' Air Supply, playin' air guitar
I was up on stage at a karaoke bar
Coincidental I was feelin' sentimental
Got a little goose-bumps from an instrumental
Springsteen sang the ?Glory Days?
"I was born in the U.S.A."
I was singin' that song on the radio
Rock on
Had my ?Blue Suede Shoes? on
Developin' a little lockjaw, yee-haw
Doin' the Michael J moonwalk just for fun
?Boot Scootin? Boogie? with Brooks and Dunn
I was singin' in the shower
I was singin' in the rain
I was singin' on the way to work in my car
I wanna be a country rock star
(Country rock star)
You got to put your mind to it
Got to be the best, don?t settle for less
Don?t sell yourself short, don?t be afraid
You never know; it?s a chance to take
I was singin' that song on the radio
Rock on
Had my ?Blue Suede Shoes? on
Developin' a little lockjaw, yee-haw
Doin' the Michael J moonwalk just for fun
?Boot Scootin? Boogie? with Brooks and Dunn
I was singin' in the shower
I was singin' in the rain
I was singin' on the way to work in my car
I wanna be a country rock star
(Country rock star)
I wanna be a country rock star
(Country rock star)
(Country rock star)
I packed everything I had in storage
Put your picture on my dashboard, bye, bye beach, hello 40 East
3 a.m. I stopped for a burger in Holy Moses, thought
I'd be further than I am now, another don't blink town
There's no jaws of the highway gonna slow me down
'Cause I'll drive all day if I have to, 'cause I want to
And I'll fill her up, put my foot down, law some rubber on the ground
Miles and miles of long white lines and red taillights and fast food signs
With my Red Bull buzz, I don't mind, my state of mind
As long as I'm one state closer to sweet Annie Devine
I been workin' on a tan on my left arm
Nothin' but cactus and rattle snake farms through New Mexico
Eighty m-p-h seems slow
I passed a family in a dusty Volkswagon
Kids laugh at me and the dog's tail's waggin'
And I laugh back, how 'bout that
'Cause I'll drive all day if I have to, 'cause I want to
And I'll fill her up, put my foot down, law some rubber on the ground
Miles and miles of long white lines and red taillights and fast food signs
With my Red Bull buzz, I don't mind, my state of mind
As long as I'm one state closer to sweet Annie Devine
Well, I missed a rest stop in Vegas
Texas forty-four miles to the nearest exit
Oklahoma tried keepin' me around
With red and blue lights to slow me down
And all I saw in Arkansas was it's rainin' cats and dogs
I drove miles and miles of long white lines
I thank the Lord this exit's mine
Drove day and night, lost track of time
With only you on my mind
Put my suitcase down
And my arms around the reason why
And I'll sleep well tonight with Annie Devine
Yes, my favorite state of mind is sweet Annie Devine
Sweet Annie Devine, yeah, yeah, yeah
One night in mid-December
My girlfriend had me over for dinner
There was nobody else around
Too bad her mom and dad were out of town
We were watchin' Winter Wonderland
When she grabbed my hand and said
"The weather man's sayin' that the roads are all ice
I was thinkin' maybe you should stay the night"
Gee, let me think, all right
CHORUS
It's all there, it's a done deal
It's a looks good, it's for real
Flyin' high in a first-class seat
With the magic carpet under my feet
Life don't get any better than this
It's all that and a bag of chips
Right on par, it's the whole nine yards
A symmetrical equation
It's a perfect situation
Well wouldn't you know I was sittin' in the front row
Watchin' a Shania Twain
She reached down and she pulled me up
On stage and sang "You Win My Love"
Then she passed the mike to me
I started singin'
And the crowd went crazy from the very first note
I signed a record deal and that was all she wrote
I was so stoked
CHORUS
And I'm here to tell you it don't get any better
It's a perfect situation right down to the letter
And I'm here to tell you it don't get any better
It's a perfect situation right down to the letter
And I'm here to tell you it don't get any better
It's a perfect situation right down to the letter
CHORUS
And I'm here to tell you it don't get any better
Hey Joe, whatcha doin' over there?
You're sittin' on a porch with a broken down stare
You got a flag blowin' in the air
You worked a 12 hour day, now it's time to get away
So you go downtown for a T-Bone steak
And ya sit back and watch the Yankees play
Well, his back's got a kink, so he orders a drink
And he heads off to the bathroom sink
And he washed his hands to the farmer tan
And he looked in the mirror and said,"Man to Man."
Chorus:
Hey buddy, you're built like a rock
You work around the clock
That's the American Way
Blue jeans and a blue collar
Chasing the hard dollar
You can't complain
The only way that you're gonna get paid
It's what we call the working day
Now there's no down what Joe's all about
He's a hard-working man who sleeps on a couch
And he ain't afraid to pour his heart out
Well, there's fireflies and pool-hall bars
There's a broken down car in his overgrown front yard
He's about a block of Nolensville Boulevard
He's got bruised up hands and oil on his pants
It's been a while since he's had a romance
It's about time that the man get's a break
'Cause his only time off is church on Sunday
Chorus:
Hey buddy, you're built like a rock
You work around the clock
That's the American Way
Blue jeans and a blue collar
Chasing the hard dollar
You can't complain
The only way that you're gonna get paid
It's what we call the working day
Hey, hey, hey, hey another working day
Hey, hey, hey, hey that's the American way
Hey, hey, hey, hey working hard everyday
Nine to five or eight to eight
Chorus:
Hey buddy, you're built like a rock
You work around the clock
That's the American Way
Blue jeans and a blue collar
Chasing the hard dollar
You can't complain
The only way that you're gonna get paid
It's what we call the working day
Yeah, the only way that you're gonna get paid
It's what we call the working day
Don't go changing, to try and please me,
You never let me down before,
Don't imagine, you're too familiar,
And I don't see you anymore.
I would not leave you, in times of trouble,
We never could have come this far,
I took the good times, I'll take the bad times,
I'll take you just the way you are.
Don't go trying, some new fashion,
Don't change the colour of your hair,
You always have my, unspoken passion,
Although I might not seem to care.
I don't want clever, conversation,
I never want to work that hard,
I just want someone, that I can talk to,
I want you just the way you are.
I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew,
What will it take till you believe in me,
The way that I believe in you?
I said I love you, and that's forever,
And this I promise from the heart,
I couldn't love you, any better,
I love you just the way you are.
I don't want clever, conversation,
I never want to work that hard,
I just want someone, that I can talk to,
From too much talk to silent touches
Sweet touches
We turned our hearts to love then tried it
First time romance
There in the quiet
Love learn to dance
We loved, we slept, we left the light on
The night's gone
And mornin' finds us caught in life's
Most sensible trance
Turn up the quiet
Love wants to dance
Old souls find new life
In hearts that are listenin' like ours
And old dreams find young wings
In silence
In silence
From to much talk to lovin' touches
Love touches
When pure emotion takes the moment
We take the chance
Turn up the quiet
Love wants to dance
