Travel video about destination Malaysia.
Malaysia is an exotic world located in the Far East, full of tradition and history. We begin our journey in Malacca, the oldest city on the southwest coast of the Peninsular Malaysia that boasts six hundred years of history. Both Portuguese and Jesuit settlers lived here for a hundred and thirty years and introduced their culture to the region. The city’s history dates back to 1403 when Hindu prince, Paramesware of the Sri Vijaya Realm in Sumatra, established a sultanate. The Chinese-dominated area of the city extends across the opposite banks of the river where the mainly two storey residential and bus

Travel Guide to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Teranganu)
In this travel video travel guide to Malaysia, I travel to Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur, and to Terangganu, the country's second-largest city.
I start off my trip by exploring Kenyir Lake, located just west of Terangganu, which is actually the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia (it's the size of Singapore). I head to the far end of the lake by speedboat to go trekking into the hilly jungle where I come across a school of hungry fish waiting for eager tourists like myself to provide them with a cheap snack. I then head back on the lake to explore the many islands that call this lake home.
Next, I head back onto the water -- thi

When I think of the most under-rated countries to visit in SE Asia Malaysia comes to mind. With a rich culture and diversity - unlike any other nation in Southeast Asia - there is something for everyone. Some of my favorite places to visit in Malaysia include Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Penang and the Cameron Highlands. The following is a top attractions travel guide for the best things to do in Malaysia:
1) Few architectural wonders can compete with the Petronas Towers. Equally as impressive by day as they are at night, it is an absolute must landmark to visit in Kuala Lumpur.
2) Night markets in Malaysia are well worth a visit. My perso

I'm Mark Wiens and thank you very much for watching this video about a few of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur, a city that just happens to be one of my favorite cities to visit in Southeast Asia. It's the largest and probably the most important and influential city in Malaysia and truly has some amazing sites to offer. Along with modern skyrise towers like the Petronas Towers, there are still lots of traditional historic buildings as well. The awesome mixture of cultures, the mix of traditional and modern, and

Penang & Georgetown Malaysia Travel Guide, Little India, Penang Hill, Street Art, Clan Jetties
All we ever hear about Penang was EATING! Much to our surprise there was a lot more to do in Penang than just eat until you pop. Walking through the quaint streets of Georgetown was an adventure in itself. Penang is definitely a way different vibe compared to Kuala Lumpur. I got way more of a typical South East Asian city vibe out of Penang, and by that I mean, the smells, dirty streets, critters etc.. However, this didn't detract from an excellent experience of the city.
The first thing we did was rent a motorbike and get a lay of the land. Aside from the beaches (which were nowhere near as nice as Langkawi: watch our video here: https://w

This is a Kuala Lumpur travel video showcasing our favorite things to do along with what we consider to be the top attractions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. From this travel video guide you should get an idea of an itinerary or schedule you can plan activities around while based in KL.
We first venture off to marvel at the magnificent Petronas Towers. These otherworldly towers are the most impressive buildings I've ever seen in my entire life. They don't look like they belong on planet earth. Equally as impressive during the day as they are at night, I recommend visiting the towers frequently and scouting out various vantage points to tak

Malacca A Famosa Ruins, Malacca (Malaysia) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Malacca A Famosa Ruins in Malacca, Malaysia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
The ruins of the A Famosa fortress are an impressive piece of history, even though only the gatehouse remains.
This fort, built by the Portuguese in 1511, is located in Malacca, Malaysia, once a part of the Portuguese Empire.
Construction on the fort began almost immediately after the Portuguese captured Malacca, to prepare for potential resistance.
A Famosa later was transferred to Dutch control and then to British, who wanted to destroy it for strategic military reasons.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's modern capital city, is relatively young. It originated in the middle of the 19th century at the junction of the Gombak and Kelang Rivers.
The Petronas Twin Towers are one of the city's main landmarks. Each tower is 452 metres tall connected by a breathtaking bridge. The façade of this unique architectural gem is particularly splendid in bright sunlight or when illuminated at night.
The old Masjid Jamek Mosque is situated in the centre of the city on the precise spot where the city was founded. Several prayer halls, and an inner courtyard that contains palm tr

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Travel Guide including Heli Lounge Sky Bar, South Indian Food
Kuala Lumpur has been the most underrated city in South East Asia. This place blew us away. KL is lightyears ahead of the likes of Bangkok, Thailand and Vientiane, Laos. This is definitely the most livable city in South East Asia, but also happens to be a little bit more expensive. However, if you follow a few of these tips in this video regarding eating local food such as South Indian Food, Street food etc. you can save where it counts. Also, the public transportation in KL is as efficient as it gets in SE Asia, and shockingly was cheaper than that of the MRT in Bangkok.
