Coconut milk is the liquid that comes from the grated meat of a coconut. The color and rich taste of the milk can be attributed to the high oil content.
Two grades of coconut milk exist: thick and thin. Thick milk is prepared by directly squeezing grated coconut meat through cheesecloth. The squeezed coconut meat is then soaked in warm water and squeezed a second or third time for thin coconut milk. Thick milk is mainly used to make desserts and rich, dry sauces. Thin milk is used for soups and general cooking. This distinction is usually not made in Western nations since fresh coconut milk is rare, and most consumers buy coconut milk in cans. Coconut water is the water that comes from the coconut.
Coconut milk can be made at home by processing grated coconut with hot water or milk, which extracts the oil and aromatic compounds. It has a fat content of approximately 17%. When refrigerated and left to set, coconut cream will rise to the top and separate out from the milk.
Manufacturers of canned coconut milk typically combine thin and thick milk, with the addition of water as a filler.

Long hair is a hairstyle. Exactly what constitutes long hair can change from culture to culture, or even within cultures. For example, a woman with chin-length hair in some cultures may be said to have short hair, while a man with the same length of hair in some of the same cultures would be said to have long hair.
Scientists view long hair as playing a large part in natural selection among many species, since long, thick and healthy hair or fur is frequently a sign of fertility and youth. As hair grows slowly, long hair reveals several years of a person's health status and reproductive fitness. Hair length is significantly correlated with female attractiveness, as rated by men as well as women. Hair length and quality can act as a cue to especially a woman's youth and health, signifying reproductive potential. The prevalence of trichophilia (hair partialism or fetischism) is 7% in the population, and very long hair is a common subject of devotion in this group.
Ways of life often viewed as more rigid, such as soldiers and religious cultures, often have explicit rules regarding hair length. For example, Buddhist monks shave their heads as part of their order of worship. Even outside religious structures, cultures often associate male long hair with ways of life outside of what is culturally accepted. Subservient cultures, for example, are sometimes detected by their rulers through hair length, as was the case with the Gaelic Irish under English rule and the Moors under Spanish rule in Medieval Spain.

Coconut Milk is so easy to make yourself! Lately I’ve been noticing coconut milk everywhere: in lattes and even eggnog! But the ones on the shelves that come in those paper boxes as a non-dairy alternative are full of weird stuff like carrageenan and guar gum. What is that? Well since I have no idea I’m going to make my own today. It’s so easy and comes out super creamy, better than anything in those boxes.

Coconut Milk Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups dried, unsweetened coconut flakes
- nut milk bag
Preparation:
I’m taking 4 cups of water and heating it up just until it starts to steam. Then I add in 2 cups of dried unsweetened coconut. I turn off the heat and soak it for about 30 minutes until the coconut is fully saturated and soft. Now I’m transferring the mixture into my blender. I’m making sure to keep the top vent open so that it doesn’t cause an explosion from the heat pressure. Trust me on this one: coconut milk everywhere...not a good thing.
I’ll blend it for about a minute and then I’ll pour everything into my nut milk bag, inside a pitcher or a bowl. I’m letting it soak here for about 10 minutes until it’s cooled completely before I squeeze all the milk out from the bag.
How easy was that? I really like this fresh but it can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. Because there are no preservatives you’ll see the coconut cream float on top and separate. But not to worry, just bring it to room temperature and give it a good shake when you want to use it. This milk is so creamy and coconut is full of healthy fats for you. I like using this in my coffee in the morning or even to make coconut rice...Which I’ll be showing you how to make in my next video. Comment below if you’ve ever tried to make coconut milk before. I'm going to share with you my favorite
DIY hair mask for dry, damaged, over-processed hair
that is breaking off.
The mask will take your locks from being all that to soft, shiny
and bouncy again! The coconut milk is also known
for promoting hair growth so this is a hair growth mask
as well. The coconut oil will penetrate the hair shaft and
condition/moisturize your hair, leaving it more manageable,
softer and shinier. It is chemical free, inexpensive and your
hair will be grateful to you! I like to call this the
CoCo Hair Mask!
What you'll need:
Coconut milk
Coconut oil
A bowl to mix in
A spoon to mix with
Preparation:
Take the coconut milk and oil, mix them together in the bowl
, how much you take depends on your hair length, and heat
the mixture so that the oil blends with the milk. Apply
to your scalp, ends and to the rest of your hair! Leave it in
for as long as you like, overnight is great, and rinse off
thoroughly! That's it!
TIP FOR GROWING HAIR FASTER:
Apply once a week warm coconut milk
to your scalp, leave in for as long as you
can and do a scalp massage if you want!

Hello everyone! READ ME:
I'm going to share with you my favorite
DIY hair mask for dry, damaged, over-processed hair
that is breaking off.
The mask will take your locks from being all that to soft, shiny
and bouncy again! The coconut milk is also known
for promoting hair growth so this is a hair growth mask
as well. The coconut oil will penetrate the hair shaft and
condition/moisturize your hair, leaving it more manageable,
softer and shinier. It is chemical free, inexpensive and your
hair will be grateful to you! I like to call this the
CoCo Hair Mask!
What you'll need:
Coconut milk
Coconut oil
