Forestry is the interdisciplinary profession embracing the science, art, and craft of creating, managing, using, and conserving forests and associated resources in a sustainable manner to meet desired goals, needs, and values for human benefit. Forestry is practiced in plantations and natural stands. The main goal of forestry is to create and implement systems that allow forests to continue a sustainable provision of environmental supplies and services. The challenge of forestry is to create systems that are socially accepted while sustaining the resource and any other resources that might be affected.
Silviculture, a related science, involves the growing and tending of trees and forests. Modern forestry generally embraces a broad range of concerns, including assisting forests to provide timber as raw material for wood products, wildlife habitat, natural water quality management, recreation, landscape and community protection, employment, aesthetically appealing landscapes, biodiversity management, watershed management, erosion control, and preserving forests as 'sinks' for atmospheric carbon dioxide. A practitioner of forestry is known as a forester. The word "forestry" can also refer to a forest itself.
Pharaoh, he was a powerful man
With the ancient world in the palm of his hand
To all intents and purposes, he was Egypt with a capital E
Whatever he did he was showered with praise
If he cracked a joke then you chortled for days
No one had rights or a vote but the king
In fact you might say he was fairly right wing
When Pharaoh's around, then you get down on the ground
If you ever find yourself near Ramses, get down on your knees
A Pharaoh story, a Pharaoh story
Down at the other end of the scale
Joseph is still doing time in jail
For even though he is in with the guards
A lifetime in prison seems quite on the cards
But if my analysis of the position is right
At the end of the tunnel there's a glimmer of light
For all of a sudden indescribable things
Have shattered the sleep of both peasants and kings
Strange as it seems, there's been a run of crazy dreams
And a man who can interpret could go far, could become a star
Could be famous, could be a big success
Forasteiro no litoral
Nasci no planalto central
Nas ondas não mando muito bem
Sou aprendiz daquela que me quer bem
Se ela ficou, fico também
Se ela voltou, volto também
Se ela remou, quero remar
Se ela gostou, gosto com ela
Quero aprender, ela quer me ensinar
Todo segredo das ondas do mar
Será que ela gosta de mim
Já sou local no litoral
Saudade do planalto central
Nas ondas até que já estou mandando bem
Pois aprendi o valor que elas têm
Quero voltar pro interior
Horizonte sem fim, cerrado nativo
Será que ela gosta de mim
Comigo quer voltar
Quer aprender segredos de lá
Muitas coisas sonhei, momentos vivi
No litoral e no interior do país
Ela gosta de mim, hoje sou assim
Filho do sol, das ondas do mar
Servo da mata nativa
Quero o mundo pra mim

Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
[CHORUS]
Faraway, faraway
Faraway star
How did you ever
Get up where you are
I can get dizzy
Just looking above
You are as far
As my faraway love
Faraway love, faraway love
Who can be happy
With faraway love
Wish that I may
Wish that I might
Grant me the wish
That I'm wishing tonight
[Repeat CHORUS]
Once must he seem
Distant from me
Even when we are
As close as can be
Powerful star
Wonderfully wise
Let me be seen
By his faraway eyes
When I am near
When I am near
Couldn't he be more
Aware that I'm here
We're holding hands
Inches apart
Show me the way
To his faraway heart
[Repeat CHORUS]
Faraway, faraway
Faraway star
How did you ever
