Plot
Riaz, a 14 year old dropout living in a small village in Southern Pakistan falls in love with the charming voice of a radio presenter. Heer Khan presents a late night show in nearby Mirpurkhas and enjoys a flirtatious reputation among her male audience in the village. The film shows his journey towards Heer Khan and in the process, his entanglement in that larger web called life.
Plot
The main theme of ARAHET is emigration, a huge worldwide problem of many nations. There are a lot of emotional psychological solutions in the film concerning friendship, love, patriotism, human relations and other issues. An Armenian guy Avetik by name who lives in the USA, once finds a small path near a huge high-speed freeway. A path which takes him straight to his motherland. This is the dream of any emigrant... The further development of this surreal drama is a conflict between the present and the past, real friendship and relationships, love and disappointment. The realities of modern American life are relieved in the movie through the conversations of Los Angeles taxi-cab passengers of different backgrounds. This is a movie good not only for national but also international audience.
When a runaway girl calls home in the middle of the night, will anyone be listening?
Can't stand the light, it hurts my eyes
And it comes as no surprise to find
A broken heart has no reprieve
In all the things we leave behind
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you cry
I can remember, can recall
When once we had it all before
Can't stand up for falling down
When you're not around and no more
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you cry
And time may heal
The pain we feel
But there's nothing real
In this goodbye
It's easy to be kind, kind to strangers
Whilst we hurt the ones we love
And all I've ever wanted
Is just to be a father to a child
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you, make you cry
And time may heal
The pain we feel
But there's nothing real
Father, blessed Father it's morning again
I give You Father, myself Father continue Your plan
I know together we can climb mountains in the sky
No one can stop us when I'm standing by Your side
When trouble's knocking here again
I'll tell him Jesus has me by his hand He'll walk me through
Father, loving Father create in me
A pure love, Father, Your love, Father instill it in me
I remember the nights I've cried for You
Now I only have to die for You
Thank You, Lord, You've made it clear just for me
I see the light it's burning out the night, oh, Father it's morning
Morning, morning, morning, morning
Morning, morning, morning, morning
Morning, morning, morning, morning
I healed myself when church was closed
I tried to grab what I could hold but somehow I felt it
was good
cause I knew
you love me too
I knew you hold me in your hands
wasn't my footsteps in the sand
and father I felt so good
cause I knew
I always knew you love me too
I always knew you love me too
yo know I cried so many tears
I talked to you to lose my fears
and somehow I felt it was good
cause I knew cause I knew you love me too
you love me too
father I thought it would never end
and I didn't know what to do
but then I saw you and I
and I knew yes I knew you love me too
father I knew, you love me too
cause I felt so good,yeah...
Father I need you now
But you're nowhere to be found
And I don't know which way to turn
If you're so far away
Too far to say
Today be strong
Tomorrow will be long
To the ones who'll stand for the
Father I need advice
Must my heart be cold as ice
Will the people follow me
When youre so far away
To far to say
Today be strong
Tomorrow will be long
To ones who'll stand for you
It's true that since your gone
Since your royal tomb's been sealed
Another spirits' been revelaed
One who challenges our every God
And there's a greater gift
That's raining fire from the skies
Even my baby boy has died
Tell me you hear me
Father I need you now
You say that every knee must bow
But you never taught me how
And you're so far away
To far to say
Today be strong
Tomorrow will be long
To the ones who'll
Stand up for their God
Standing up againsts all odds
Could the voice of destiny
Speak to Moses set my people free
Or will we rule and reign forever
Now the slightest chance
That's taken root inside my head
And I must do as He commands
And send His people away
Take them all away
Father and Son are gone away
Where is your kingdom
lord can you show me
the place
can you tell me
where all the tears
are falling down
just give me a sign
one good reason
that i'm living for
one sign one easy sign
there's no chance to
hide away
Father father
is there a way for me
father father
is there a candle
in the night
to show me the way
give me absolution
for all the things
that i've done
why you tell me
that all my prayers
are falling down
just give me a sign
one good reason
that i'm living for
one sign one easy sign
there's no chance to
hide away
Father father
is there a way for me
father father
is there a candle
in the night
to show me the way
Where is your kingdom
and where is your light
your hand of creation
Father's very noisy with his vines
Says “there all the same, it makes you sick”
Need a bleeding boot up their behinds
That would bloody shift them double quick
Father drops his toffee after tea
all them monkeys sprouting their advice
Bleeding bloody berks, believe you me
Twenty times as much for half the price
Into the kitchen, mother (mother)
The kettle's got a hard-on
You can't call this dripping
It hasn't got no lard on (father)
(father)
(father)
(father)
(father)
Father's in the khazi half-an-hour
"What's it all about?", is what I think
Shove them all inside the bloody Tower
Blinking, bloody, bleeding soppy pink (?)
Into the kitchen, mother (mother)
The kettle's got a hard-on
You can't call this dripping
It hasn't got no lard on (father)
(father)
(father)
(father)
(father)
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha...
Father's drops his toffee after tea
"What's it all about?", is what I think
Bleeding load of berks, believe you me
Shove them all inside the bleeding clink
Get them off you, mother
And see what's on the telly
The buttons on your nightie

He said son you better watch out for the treachery
Of Jealousy
You can't trust anyone
The boy said father then if this is true
Should I be sitting here
Still trusting you?
Well I said
Father
Will you show me who I'm supposed to be?
When I get old and I don't care
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all for me?
He said son your gonna find out one important thing
And take it from me
I made the same mistakes
I told myself I could have one last drink
Now everything is gone all my dreams are in the sink
Well I said
Father
Will you show me who I'm supposed to be?
When I get old and I don't care
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all for me?
'Cause I can't help myself
Or anybody else
Well you can show me how
To live my life right now
I know I'm wrong
That's why I wrote these sad, sad songs
But it feels so right
And I said
Father
Will you show me who I'm supposed to be?
When I get old and I don't care
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all for me?
Father
Father
Will you still care at all
I hold in my heart this pain that I feel
a man I call father, well, he's almost real...
he's almost real...
and I'm of his flesh and bone
so similar and estranged and I was just a child when
you went away
when you went away
away...
away...
away...
father, you know...
and yet, I still hold you
well, it's up and to this day
father answer my questions
'cause I still need you... I still need you
I am one of two
and I still need you
I am one of two
Why do I bother don't owe you anything,
My disguise, forever gray and
You as my father, don't know you anymore,
You my father, you'll die unbreakable,
DIE UNBREAKABLE
So now you feel so sad and sorry in self pity,
You sold yourself for little pieces that made you
angry...
Dying and so hollow was the life that you lived
By fauls, you broke and deceived,
You're so empty, filled with your lies,
So transparent, I see through your eyes
I SEE THROUGH YOU!
So now you feel so sad and sorry in self pity,
You sold yourself for little pieces that made you
angry...
Sentenced in shame your fire burnt out "dust to dust",
you said,
You never gave the keys to save you, save you from your
bitterness.
Dad thank you dad, thanks for opening the wounds
Again and again, you never tried to understand, now
father
do you remember me?
I was the little boy
you never see
quit covering up this scenery
father
I needed you so bad
now you're a broken man
it makes me sad
would like to shed some tears for my dad
Father's very noisy with his 'bines
Said they're all the same it makes you sick
Need a bleeding boot up their behinds
That would bloody shift them double quick
Father drops his toffee after tea
All them monkey's sprouting their advice
Bleeding, bloody berks, believe you me
Twenty times as much for half the price
In the kitchen, mother
The kettle's got a hard-on (father)
You can't call this dripping
It hasn't got no lard on (father)
(father, father, father, father)
Father's in the khazi half-an-hour
"What's it all about?", is what I think
Shove them all inside the bloody Tower
Blinking, bloody, bleeding sodding pink
In the kitchen, mother
The kettle's got a hard-on (father)
You can't call this dripping
It hasn't got no lard on (father)
(father, father, father, father)
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
Father's drops his toffee after tea
"What's it all about?", is what I think
Bleeding load of berks, believe you me
Shove them all inside the blinking clink
Get them off your mother
And see what's on the telly
The buttons on your nightie
Life's bitter falling down some
Took the bait I took the ride
Turned the world a lonely side
Found the only silence that he knows
Father will you please let me go
And nothing but love I say will show
Father will you please let me go
There's something before myself I know
You're so far, you're so far away
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me all the things inside
Tell me all the worlds that you've won
You think of me, you think of me so often
You think of me, oh!
You want me to believe it's true, yeah.
Father will you please let me go
And nothing but love I say will show
Father will you please let me go
There's something before myself I know
You're so far, you're so far away
Father will you please let me go
And nothing but love I say will show
Father will you please let me go
There's something before myself I know
You're so far, you're so far away
You're so far away
You're so far away
You're such a lonely man
God is my father, my father is God,
Natural mistical, natural vibration
Your life is like a castle built upon the sand
All the work is done but it will not stand
Your life is like a picture without any paint
It's left you feeling blank and a little incomplete
From the answers that you seek
All the questions that you have all lie in Him
He is the way the truth and the life
He's my road to take me home
He is the way the truth and the life
He's my father and my friend
Life is overwhelming when you start to doubt
Have faith He is with you here and now
Many questions you have asked along your way
Like who I am where I came from where will I go
When I leave here from this world
Father
We enter Your presence
To lift up Your name
Father
You’re worthy of glory
You’re worthy of praise
Creator of ev’rything
The reason for us to sing
You are exalted Almighty King
We bless Your name forever
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
We worship You
Father
We enter Your presence
To lift up Your name
Father
You’re worthy of glory
You’re worthy of praise
Father, I never understood why you gave it up,
accepting determinism and the rules of their so-called destiny...
I know you never trusted in their holy better days,
and that you never believed in their so called success stories.
And I still await your call while winter fails,
and I'm still waiting for the day.
No tears, no anger, in a world that didn't care, you didn't care.
You sacrificed it all to watch us sink in this world.
I am not complaining, because you gave me the chance to set my goals,
and accepted me just as I am, the imperfect son you hate to adore.
We won't be silenced anymore. We won't be fucking silenced.
And I keep waiting alone... I will try my hardest,
in their goddamn living hell, to write our name in the sun,
Majesty, wonderful
Holy Lord, Emmanuel
Prince of Peace, Righteous One
Sacrifice, Crowned as King
[Chorus:]
Father I adore you,
I live each day for You
Jesus, I love you;
All These Years
An Angry Child
Broken Chattered
Torn Inside
Father
Where Were You
Where Were...
I Feel Old
I Feel Dead
Barely Hangin'
By A Thread
Father
Where Were You
Where Were...
To My Father
How Could You Run
You Walked Away
Abandoned You Son
Broke My Heart
Left Me Dyin'
So Fucked Up
Where I Came From
What's A Father Without A Son
It's Like A Bullet Without A Gun
I Live To Die, I'll Fly Away
You're The Knife, And I'm The Prey
But You're Dead, So Fucking Dead
We All Gotta Die, So Fucking Die
You’ve given far beyond my need so I give
My deepest thanks to you for all I’ve watched you do
And for the things that I am yet to see
Still I’m confident to wait patiently
I cry out and you answer
I cry out and you answer
Father I know you listen when I pray
Father would you hear these simple words I say
I’m amazed at where we’ve been and what we’ve seen
I can’t imagine where I’d be without you here with me
With a faith beyond the things I could see
So many times I’ve watched your hand as it guides me
I cry out and you answer
I cry out and you answer
Father I know you listen when I pray
Father would you hear these simple words I say
Father I know you listen when I pray
Father would you hear these simple words I say
Tears are falling over me like rain
You have been so faithful time and again
And forever I’m reminded of your grace
Beautiful grace
And Father I know you listen when I pray
And Father would you hear these simple words I say
I cry out and you answer
I cry out and you answer
Father I know you listen when I pray
Father would you hear these simple words I say
Father I know you listen when I pray
There's nothing so heavy
Weighing down the soul
As the weight of nothing
Worth my strength to hold
There's no pain so cutting
No battle as in vain
As the constant battle
To avoid the pain
You were poor when you were born
You could see Your Father clearly
Through the nothing that You owned
Free me from these binds, Lord
I am choking on the gifts this world gives, Jesus
I am waiting on Your love
So as Your word has promised
I must clearly choose
To lose my life and gain Your love
Or love my life and lose
You were poor when you were born
You could see Your Father clearly
Through the nothing that You owned
Free me from these binds, Lord
I am choking on the gifts this world gives, Jesus
I am waiting on Your love
Free me Lord to live this life
Believing all I really have is You
I am waiting on Your love
It's not time to make a change
Just relax--take it easy
You're still young--that's your fault
There's so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me--I am old
But I'm happy
I was once like you are now
And I know that it's not easy
To become when you've found
Something going on
But take your time--think a lot
Think of everthing you've got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your dreams may not...
How can I try to explain?
When I do--it turns away again
And it's always been the same
Same old story
From the moment I could talk
I was ordered to listen
Now there's a way, and I know
That I have to go away
I know, I have to go...
It's not time to make a change
Just sit down
and take it slowly
You're still young--that's your fault
There's so much you have to go through
Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me--I am old
But I'm happy
All the times, that I've cried
Keeping all the things I knew inside
And it's hard
But it's harder to ignore it
If they were right--I'd agree
But it's them--they know
Not me That I have to go away
Brother and sister,
tell me how you feelin'.
And I say mother,
tell me how you feelin'.
Father,
tell me how you feelin'.
If you can't tell me how you feel,
I may say: There will be no freedom.
One million miles away from home.
One million miles away from love.
One million times away from hope.
One million times away from god.
Brother and sister,
tell me how you feelin'.
And I say mother,
tell me how you feelin'.
Father,
tell me how you feelin'.
If you can't tell me how you feel,
Amazing love has won my heart
I am in awe of all You've done
You gave us Jesus and with Him
You freely give us everything
Amazing love sets me free
From all that would weigh down on me
You are my strength, my help, my friend
And my hope - life without end
Father, my Father I am so secure in You
Your perfect love drives away all my fear
Father I love You for You have loved me first
And I am grateful for amazing love
Father, you know why and still you deny
You tried to own the world and make each day paradise
Though all the years lead us far from the path
We have time, We have all we need
Searching the pages that you left me
Many times I've tried to see through the night
Casual eyes and fragile sighs beat down
Down on me, cursing every memory
Though all the years lead us far from the path
Find your way, find me now
Will you embrace the promise of spring?
So I can live the scene
You cannot relive those forgotten years
So join me now my father
Paradise, I could see, when I looked too far
I know you understand, please forgive me lonely man
Will you embrace the promise of spring?
So I can live the scene
You cannot relive those forgotten years
So join me now my father
Peaceful night, fallen leaves
Birth of a song so shapeless and free
Honesty opens me to the past
To you
Will you embrace the promise of spring?
So I can live the scene
You cannot relive those forgotten years
Can't stand the light, it hurts my eyes
And it comes as no surprise to find
A broken heart has no reprieve
In all the things we leave behind
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you cry
I can remember, can recall
When once we had it all before
Can't stand up for falling down
When you're not around and no more
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you cry
And time may heal
The pain we feel
But there's nothing real
In this goodbye
It's easy to be kind, kind to strangers
Whilst we hurt the ones we love
And all I've ever wanted
Is just to be a father to a child
I won't forsake you
Don't wanna break you
Don't wanna make you
Make you, make you cry
And time may heal
The pain we feel
But there's nothing real
Father oh Father
hear me if you can
is it true what they say
that life is a dream
i don't understand
the things that make rain in my eyes
are they real or are they lies
You know i hear so much about you now
i'd give anything
to go on a little boat with you
talk about the scheme of things
on a little boat with you
Father oh Father
guide me if you can
or give me the chance to follow you home
i am your son but i wish i knew you
when you were young
were you lonely as a boy
You know i'd give so much to see you now
i'd go anywhere
pick a little stick and walk with you
talk about the scheme of things
on a short walk with you
Father oh Father
you give me just a little hope
i feel something out there reaching for me
well here i am
won't you take me with you
out of this maze
and away from this place
Because it gets so cold and lonely here
i'll do anything
to sit on a little rock with you
talk about the scheme of things
on a small rock with you
Show me show me show me the way
before they grind me down
and bleach me grey
send me power not to be afraid
and when i close my eyes
let me see you once in the light
Father oh Father
heal me if you can
is it true what they say
Dominating forces catapult my thoughts
I want and need to control every aspect of you
I must control everything, keep you under my thumb
I will mentally fuck till you break or I leave
Berate and humiliate as my father did to me
The abused will abuse
I want to be the one for you
Want you to be the one for me
I need to see inside your mind
Want you to see inside of me
I am a mental predator feeding
On your childhood traumas and mental monsters
I will use my insecurities against you
And I'll live to make them yours
Long string of failed relationships
My father lives inside of me
I want to be the one for you
Want you to be the one for me
I need to see inside your mind
Want you to see inside of me
Why? Why? Why?
Why? Why? Why?
I want to be the one for you
Want you to be the one for me
I need to see inside your mind
Want you to see inside of me
I can't believe that you're real
I can't believe that you're real
I can't believe that you're real
(Kill my father, heal my father)
I can't believe that you're real
(Kill my father, heal my father)
Kill my father, heal my father
Kill my father, heal my father
Kill my father, heal my father
Opened up a box of you,
Piece of paper or two,
With my name written on it, and a question mark
Who is this girl that I’ve made?
‘Cause I’ve been kept in the dark
And I’ve seen you once, Father
In the fear of your belts and leather,
And you were just about to tempter,
There was distance,
You’re my spout resistance
And I can't believe that you still don’t know me,
‘Cause I am a mystery
So I separated all the things that I have hated,
With the victories I’ve won,
And the biggest one was you,
You don’t know my street or the size of my feet or,
Or the time it took to grow,
‘Cause Father these are things you should know,
These are things you should know,
Knocked the breath right out of you,
But what’s a brown-eyed girl to do?
When her future lies on chasing paper,
And all I get from you is; “You’re so clever" and "I’ll see you later.”
And I just can't hide my frustration,
When there’s so much more you could have done,
Like given me hope and attention instead of ignore,
No I don’t mind, no, I don’t mind because he is just a boy,
Cause we are children,
We are merely children,
And he is just a boy,
So I separated all the things that I have hated,
With the victories I’ve won,
And the biggest one was you,
You don’t know my street or the size of my feet or,
Or the time it took to grow,
The smell of your breath, it makes me sick
Your naked body lying on the floor
I want to kill you but you did it yourself
You killed my innocence
You drunken fuck
I hate you
I piss on your grave and curse your memory
I was always there in the family hell
I was in your way and you hit me
You cut your wrists and jumped from the 4th floor
I was the last one who saw you alive
I hate you
I damage you
I bury you
I kill you
I wish you would have been there to watch me grow
Guiding me with wisdom, love and patience
Telling me that you love me and showing it to me
Making this world a safe place to be
You hurt me so much that I don't know if I'm ever gonna be whole
But I want you to know that I'm gonna try
Still after all that you did I miss you
And the rose and the letter that I brought to your grave
Tells you about my longing
So I say goodbye to you now after 23 years
You were just a moment of my life and I got to continue
Maybe one day I will be able to forgive you
Beat me down, one more time
Words of love, hard to find
Gotta find my mother, she won't lie
Where the hell's my father
Farther, farther
You like to lie
Swimming in the water
One last time
Imagination cross my mind
I beat the bush, I beat the bush
Shove me down
Where the hell's my father
Farther, farther
You like to lie
Father, old man, can you find me
Father, old man, do you care
Father, old man, can you find me
Do you care
Father
Some thousand years have passed
Disgrace and hate forever last
In the name of idols and false beliefs
So deep are buried these hatred deeds
In the name of a faceless god
Murder, betrayal and havoc
In the name of your merciless god
The father of all filth and chaos
So many centuries in vain
Humanity ascends for their own shame
Forgotten idols or new beliefs
Become eternal like hatred deeds
In the name of a faceless god
Murder, betrayal and havoc
In the name of your merciless god
The father of all filth and chaos
Lost in a way full of mirrors
Son of the golden empire
You’ll never get the chance
To feel your life again
You cry an’ pray in vain
Hope has fallen, hope will rise I remember, a paradise
Expose my heart, left to rust
Mankind buried in the dust Emotions, entwined,
what will it take? (7 years)
7 years you took your time
Reluctant thoughts went through your mind
Justify wour will to live
I'll justify my soul I'll give
7 years you took a life unknown
From this boy now to a man alone, man alone
Thought that I could fly
Father forgive me I was once your child
Mother remembered me
Words of wisdom, untold truth
Restless ways, I lived my youth
Resurect trust in time
Can you remember
How you use to jab your fingers into my chest
And tell me how stupid you thought I was
And how I'd grow up to be worthless-
I was only 9 and I can recall every single time-
You raised your hand to me
No matter how hard I try to forget
I can't erase it from my memory
To this day you seem to think that
You never did anything wrong
And even though I've tried to look past your
Ignorance
The hate was too strong
And you were to blind to see how much anger
Was growing inside of me
And everything revolved around you
Do what you say
Do what you want
Do as you do
As the years passed
I never knew what was to come
Cause you were never there
But the day will come
When we'll cross paths
This time I'll be there to let you know that
All I ever wanted was was for you to believe in me
And everyday I prayed for, lived the day for
Was a chance to throw it back in your face-
And before you die, open your eyes
And see, all the different ways that you neglected me
You may have gave me life but you never gave me hope
I don't ever want to take after my own Father
God help me raise up outta this mess
Stress and grey days and a gang full of tests
God help me, god help me
You put the fear in me and said
if I wasn't to be everything you expected then a son I'm not in your eye's
and would be instantly rejected-
Your gifts of love were just fifths of pain
While I tried to maintain and refrain
You just laughed at me, you looked down on me, you threw down on me,
You made me feel worthless now you're dead to me, how does it feel to be,
What runs through you created me, one day I'll break free-
All I ever wanted was for you to believe in me
And everyday I prayed for, lived the day for
Was a chance to throw it back in your face
Why do I have to feel like I'm constantly worthless

Behind an old piano,
Desperately out of tune.
When she played it alone
At christmas
I felt warm and safe
Then...
Even if it sounded morbid
And she would cry
In a room that lay in ruins,
a monument of failure,
reminder of pains,
of tasks embarked upon.
... but lonelt is a man
whose greatest enemy
is himself.
There I cried,
curled up beyond
life and it's tortures.
Felt thir hut.
Things they had repressed.
"FATHER" [4x]
My beloved brother.
I wish I could take your tears,
And save your heart from drowning.
Still every now and then.
I wanted to embrace you
Comfort you,
Protect you
And keep you warm.
It was so cold
you were so cold,
and wounerable.
It would not be right.
You are my father.
And besides they are all there
... watching.
Oh if you would lift your hands
only once more
open your eyes...
yell or kick!
I dare you.
Please...
In a room that lay in ruins,
a monument of failure,
reminder of pains,
of tasks embarked upon.
... but lonelt is a man
whose greatest enemy
[Intro:]
They say everything you go through in life makes life worth living
But if the world should end tomorrow...
I often think about that sometimes, know what I'm saying?
[Verse 1:]
I'll take the pain and the strife
I know it's not in vain
And struggle relate to everything in this life
I'm maintaining became a beam of light for the youth in the streets
Intertwining with goons never complaining cause it's all written
Don't be bitter we all sinners
Lusting for the good life, some hearts cold as December
Hiding behind stripes and stars Father forgive um
Earth out of her mind look what she had to witness
I talk to her at times she tell me what's on her heart
I tell her what's on my mind
Momma where do I start?
Why everybody divided?
Why people afraid to die?
She told me "talk to ya Father, he's in the sky."
[Verse 2:]
Father why everybody complaining bout what they got?
Ungrateful, they don't see what you gave um?
Make a lump sum of money start to thinking they made it
He said if you pay attention to the weather I'm jaded
It could be mid July and I feel like raining
Any day of the year I shed a tear Poppa amazing
One drop could flood the block there's no one greater
And that's why I live in the sky
No lie, I'm fly, defy gravity, I reply damn
It's like you only show yourself to the wise
I know why you won't let me come home
Left me here on my own cause I ain't doing my job so you just letting me roam
He responded "correct" go home to my mom I'm vexed
She the reason for my drama and stress, you seem to love her
Remember though, she the present but I'm forever
Won't be long till you see us together I replied until than...
[Chorus:]
Now if the world should end tomorrow, Lord have mercy on me
And if the sky should fall and the walls come tumbling down, tumbling down
Now if the world should end tomorrow, Lord have mercy on me
And if the sky should fall and the walls come tumbling down, tumbling down
Than that's what it's gonna be
Now I've got myself together
The things you do have made me sad
Ties that should last forever
Break loose in front of all that's bad
No, father of mine
No, father of mine
My heart feels like burning
Standing in front of all you do
No, I won't be returning
Nothing could bring me back to you
No, father of mine
No, father of mine
No, father of..
..why justify
All your lies?
Something you always deny
You're no good
Fatherhood
That is dead and gone
No, father of mine
No, father of mine
Why justify
All your lies
Something you always deny
You're no good
Fatherhood
That is dead and gone
Why justify
All your lies
Something you always deny
You're no good
Fatherhood
[Mc Chaos]
Don't Be Afraid
I'm Near To Your Bed
I Will Stay Here
With You All Night Long
Don't Be Afraid
I'm Near To Your Bed
I'll Keep Your Hands In
Mine All Night Long
A Father Will Always Give You The Best
A Father Is Present When His Little Boy
Wants To Be Helped
In His Eyes
A Father Could Give This Life
To Save His Own Son
Don't Be Afraid
I'm Near To Your Bed
I'll Sing This Song For
You All Night Long
Don't Be Afraid
I'm Near To Your Bed
I Promise I'll Be With
You All Night Long
A Father Can Feel When His Boy Is Afraid
A Father Can Feel When His Fate
Comes To Take Him Away
A Father Can See What Is There In His Eyes
A Father Could Give His Life
To Save His Son Right Now !
But I Have To Win
The Pain That I Feel !
There's Nothing To Worry About
So Let That Feeling Stand
So Let That Feeling Stand...
A Father Can See What Is There In His Eyes
A Father Could Give His Life
To Save His Son Right Now
[At Mc Chaos' Palace, the music faded away. Warnely embraced by his father, the baby was falling sleep again. Mc Chaos was putting all his dreams of kingdom future on that child. His wife died giving birth him and he had promised her that their son would become, one day, the ruler of the European Kingdom...]
[Storyteller]
Shortly after Wild Tribe's denunciation Mr. Maindream, the president of the Dream league Council, summoned all the Kings of the world. He summoned them in order to decide what kind of punishment should be applied in that case. After a brief discussion, that decision was taken.
I spent 23 years trying to be what you wanted me to be
though it seemed like you couldn't save me
'til I picked up the mic and I was on the TV
now you're ringing off my phone like every week
where were you at 6,7,11 and 13 when shit was impossible
Mama left nine months pregnant
but she came home alone from the hospital
How could you call yourself a man if you can't love your own unless you can contol them
you'd rather destroy their souls and she was 13 years old and you could've protected the innocence from being stolen
And I don't give a damn what you was going through when mama wasn't able
to put food on the table
You left the family unstable
Now you come around acting like you want some kind of appraisal
You can't play like you daddy now
and you can't claim shit 'cause you weren't around
And you can't get mad but what can you do?
You can't tell me shit
I'm grown without you
I spent 23 years trying to be the fucking man you should be
taking care of your responsibility
putting clothes on our back and shoes on our feet no help
but you always had your bag of weed
where were you at 12,13, 14 and 15 when life was unliveable
Momma was so damn angry the way she treated me was unforgiveable
You call yourself a man your oldest son he had to learn from his sister
How to put a niggers fist up, how to fuck a niggers shit up and knock out any motherfucker that had come and tried to diss us
And I don't give a damn what you was going through
and I needed saving I spent my every second blazing a little girl with a blade and trying to fuck up and take my life just wanted to dig my grave and..
You can't play like you daddy now
and you can't claim shit 'cause you weren't around
And you can't get mad but what can you do? (now what you gonna do?)
You can't tell me shit I'm grown without you
You can't play like you daddy now
and you can't claim shit 'cause you weren't around
And you can't get mad but what can you do? (you can't do a damn thing)
You can't tell me shit I'm grown without you
I'm grown without you
I've grown without you
can't can't come and come and tell me, do not
We all so scared cause its, its war everywhere, you know
War everywhere
How many friends will we see die? (Why we so scared cause it's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see cry? (It's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see try? (Why we so scared cause it's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see die? (It's war everywhere)
All we need is a little love, and someone standing for the little cubs
And I see brutality all over niggas killin' niggas
The ghetto got them being born to be killas
Flooded with drugs and tryin to get us, so get up
But don't give up, ya'll gotta sit up
If you last before they kill us
And the guerillas, try come kill us
Pillage the village and we'll be winna
I love it when niggas the way we took it to another level
So many rebels doing the best shit forever remembered
And in the killing fields, everybody's locked up
And good niggas getting shot up da dadan dada
Mind if I say something for mine
Cause it's about time, to get serious
A mysterious time, blind melons
It ain't no telling, if the willing
Will stop chillin', then help the children
Turning them out, then burning them out
Like morphine, waters getting shallow
It's over and over the gallow
A president in the drop, it's on now though
The end of life, for now so
I think it's the ozone, bad to the bone bone
Mother Nature be long gone
And don't nobody wanna do nothing but speculate
And all they worried about their own
Wrote a song for the future
Millenium, I'm in, I'm hopeing it don't last untill we all past
Living in the stars, looking through grass
Aboard the enterprise, recognize this, in the course of a da-da-da-da-da-da-day
And thats the way we sing, thats the way we play
that's the way they . . now and
Still got bombs from the cold war, radioactive
And the critics, they wont take action
They want us to repo this to your satisfaction
But while they build more, computers keep crashing
What about felling, pestilence dammit
How do we manage to keep standing
Living in a legacy of bitterness
With the epitimy of vigorous trips on the ships we were crammed in, slammed in
Other man and them, why don't we demanding our damn money
If we can't get forty acres and a mule, let a nigga get a range rover
Shit you got time you, I'm still waiting on a canoe, but it will never come
I don't even know where I come from or where I'm gonna go to
I'm headed to the mother land, but will I be accepted by the brotha man?
Awww me so confused, with nothing to gain and everything to lose, choose
The righteous and the high, look in the eyes and realize the lies
Family ties, but not even for the have-nots
Who the enemy? It ain't me. It ain't even the police
Unless they trippin', and use that authority and start flippin', flippin'
Leaving dead bodies, and with them bitchin' hotties
That poppin' the collar, my god I'm horny, ride shotty
And tellin' the kids that ain't the way to live properly
Get yo monopoly and get your own property
And that's the way we sing, and that's the way we play
and that's the way they . . . now and
Ooooh and the daddies and momma forgivin' so we can live with us
And all the runaways get off the bus
Kids, put the guns down, come down
If the rest build a bridge with us, it gotta get better than this
It's head of the risk, shoulda been poor, and I been rich
Lost so many friends to the war shit, caution
When I get to walkin', and it's mobbin', nigga in a crypt
Life is a fight to the street life, tonight
I might go meet the reaper, and I will give him a hug
And tell him "Thug luv won and I'm so glad to meet ya"
And that's the way we sing, and that's the way we play
And what of the father.
Will he end the lies.
And what about the mother.
Will she, Discover the truth behind this life We're living.
Now everything we ever had is here for us.
Now everything we ever had is here for us.
Don't worry about the Father.
You'll take him ?
And as for the mother.
She always loved her son.
A son will get sick.
A father will watch as life has left
from his boy, helpless.
Hours still go by, like strangers,
quick to close an eye,
but dear father just won't die.
"What debt has my boy to pay?
What crime has been to deserve this fate?
Lord, What debt has my boy to pay?
It's this weight you gave,
my baby's grave."
Night does not sleep for father.
He's fighting to find some peace.
Where he lives,
his son has died.
He stares at his wife, the woman
who held his boy inside,
but why? Oh, God why?
Lord, how can I tell her it's okay?
What words I know can dry her face.
Dear Lord, how could you take him in this way?
I have this dream that I am hitting my dad with a baseball bat
And he is screaming and crying for help
And maybe halfway through it has more to do with me killing him
Then it ever did protecting myself
And I believe that yeah, dad, maybe no one is perfect
But it seems that you were pushing your luck
It just sucks it played out like this:
A terrible movie and you can tell none of the actors even give a fuck
But you look good tonight girlfriend,
Can I sleep in your bed?
And when I crawl out in the morning,
Can I stay inside your head?
'Cause you were high school
And I was just more like real life
And you were okay, okay as a girlfriend
But I was just more like his wife
I'll do the pushups
I'll wear the makeup
I'll do whatever he wants all night
'Cause you were okay, okay as a girlfriend
But I was just more like real life.
A long, long time ago my great, great, great, great grandfather
took something that did not belong to him
And that is why today there is an eagle in my veins
I am part Native American
And I am leaving as soon as I come,
As soon as I come you will probably forget my name
I hope I fall asleep at the wheel and crash my car (on the way home)
Or I could just stay here, because
you look good tonight girlfriend,
Can I sleep in your bed?
And when I crawl out in the morning,
Can I stay inside your head?
'Cause you were high school
And I was just more like real life
And you were okay, okay as a girlfriend
But I was just more like his wife
I'll wear the makeup
I'll do the pushups
I'll do whatever he wants all night
'Cause you were okay, okay as a girlfriend
But I was just more like real life.
I swear to tell the truth and nothin but the truth...
so help me GOD
I just felt like tellin the story of my life
Felt like, maybe somebody could be inspired, you know?
We all feel pain, we all go through things
But it's time to overcome all that
If your plane crashed in the water and everybody died
would you drown on purpose or try to survive?
I was born handicapped my arm wouldn't move
They called me a cripple pops caught an attitude
Beat my moms smoked lye drove trucks
My moms had a miscarriage, he didn't give a fuck
He sniffed some coke, come home
Beat up on my moms cause she's talkin on the phone
Come on
(all I ever wanted)
All I ever wanted
(all I ever needed)
All I ever needed
(was a father)
was a father
(that's all)
That's all!
(all I ever wanted)
All I ever wanted
(all I ever needed)
All I ever needed... was a father
(was a father)
Moms got tired of the beatings said, "Yo, we got to go"
Packed up her bags we bounced out the do'
She said, "I ain't takin these whippin's no mo'
I wanna live to see my little Todd grow"
I remember tear drops on my pops face
Lookin down at me standin on the staircase
Handsome brother with a smooth goatee
Makes me wonder why he act so ugly, you feelin me?
(I'm feelin you)
My pops got drunk when me and my moms bounced
Swigged some Jack Dan', sniffed up a ounce
Grabbed the shotty left Long Isle for Queens
Possesed by a demon... a devil it seemed
I was too young to understand the risk
when your moms come home off the midnight shift
She turned around heard the shotgun click
My pops said, "You think that you could leave me?"
He blasted my moms in the back
She fell down screamin I can't forget that
My grandfather tried to close the do'
He got shot ten times in the stomach yo, for real
My head was spinnin, I had never seen blood
Four years old, this don't feel like love
Anyway, pops dissapeared
Grandpops and moms healed up over the years
This therapist got up in her head
Led her to believe without him she'd be dead
You know, they fell in love with one another
Everything seemed right that's word to mother
until I started gettin beatings everday
Sometimes for going outside to play
Late at night on my knees I'd pray
a young child, wishin the pain would go away
Dad where was you when he made me strip
Beat with belts like a slave with a whip
Kicked me down steps outside in the snow
Punched me in the chest stomped me out on the flo'
That's just the tip of the iceberg look
It's too long for a song but perfect for a book
Soft like a snowwhite flower
like a tender song
like a moment we'll share forever
You were there every hour
were there just for me
in my mind we will always be together
Where are you, father
I just can't understand
why you leave me alone every night
when I'm dreaming of our lives
I cry for you , father
What is the truth of love
when you're up above
and I cannot reach you, father
It's driving me insane
feeling endless pain
And I ask myself again and again
Where are you, father?
There's so much to say
I've so much to tell you
Oh I'm so afraid
So listen my father
I just can't understand
why you leave me alone
in desperate nights
when I dream about our life

I see you - with a gun
in your eyes - insanity
in my dreams - I run
you follow me - I cannot stay
I wonder what - has driven you
to hunt me - into the night
all these things - I don't believe
I don't dare - to go to bed
oh father - what have you done
look at me - I am your son
what's the reason - for your hate
I can't love you - it is too late
I hear the shot - see the flash
there's just pain - in my leg
thousand bullets - hit my body
my clothes - get so bloody
a fire burns - under my skin
all this pain - makes me numb
step by step - you get closer
in your eyes - insanity
oh father - what have you done
look at me - I am your son
what's the reason - for your hate
All I know is that in time you’ll come back to me.
What separates us makes me stronger if only you could see.
You’re not a man, you’re a coward afraid to face reality.
You were never there to see me grow.
Selfishness is all you’ll ever know.
You wouldn’t even notice if I took my life tonight.
You’re blinded by your own ignorance.
They said to write you a song about the way
I’ve been thinking this entire time,
For my whole life, on how I’ve been feeling.
These wounds aren’t healing but I’m alright.
Thank god I made it out alive
And I’m praying each day that you’ll be by my side.
Life is looking up if you could fill this empty cup then I would be alright.
I’d survive.
Struggling to breathe.
Send me a savior.
Faith is all I need to hold on to.
Father, hear me please.
If you’re out there,
Send me a message and give me a sign.
Even when I’m dead and gone, I know you’ll see.
When I was small
You took me by the hand
Father you should know
I finally understand
You taught me wrong from right
And how to live
You gave the greatest gift
That one could give
You never let me down
You made me strong
When I made mistakes
When I was wrong
Some days we'd laugh
And some days we'd fight
Somehow you knew one day
I'd say you were right
You're with me
In every word I say
In every hour
Of every single day
In all I do
I'm just a part of you
You lived your life for us
That was your plan
Those hands that never take
They worked the land
Hands that never take
Can only give
And because of you
I know how to live
You're with me
In every word I say
In every hour
Of every single day
In all I do
I'm just a part of you
Father just one thing
You always knew
I am with you
I know, who you are
I am the source of hope
I am your fucking god!
You're not the source of hope
You're not my fucking god
You can't force me
Because you can't deny
Father!
Father!
Father!
let me live
Father!
Father!
Father!
You can't bring me down, again!
You can't force me
Because you can't deny
Humanity
Believes a fucking lie!
You are with me
But I don't know who you are
you're not the source of hope
You're not my fucking god
I am the master
You just eat people's brains
I spread happiness
Until people cut their veins
You can't force me
to live your stupid rules
civil unrest
shows that we are the used
Father!
Father!
Father!
let me live
Father!
Father!
Father!
you can't bring me down again
Father!
Father!
Father!
go and die
Father!
Father!
Father!
Father, if all I can be is a man
And all I can ask of you Father, my Father
How can I be in your plan?
Send me a sign from the heavens, in riddle or rhyme
Descend from the skies of forever, pray give me a time
For I have reached the end of the line . . .
Defender of truth and of freedom, am I living a lie?
I render my fruits to thy kingdom, pray give me a sign
For I am weak, how long can I fight?
Father, when can I see you again?
And when can I be with you Father,
You gave up your life for me then,
And when, I needed you Father . . .
When can I see you again?
And when can I be with you Father,
You gave up your life for me then,
And when, I needed a friend . . .
Father, your spirit I'm longing to bring
Through tears can I ask of you Father, my Father
To play your song through my strings . . .
Father, when can I see you again?
And when can I be with you Father,
You gave up your life for me then,
And when, I needed you Father . . .
When can I see you again?
And when can I be with you Father,
You gave up your life for me then,
You’re not here tonight
At this special time
You won’t bring me down
You won’t bring me down
See me in the dark
Like a shinning light
I might fall this time
Like a broken star
You can lie to me
You can try to hold me father
I will live without you
ohh ohh ohh without you
ohh ohh ohh without you
ohh ohh ohh without you
without you.
Read between the lines
I believed the lies
You can’t hurt me now
You can’t hurt me now
See me in the dark
Broken and destroyed
Yes you tore me up
Can you here me now?
You can lie to me
You can try to hold me father
I will live without you ( you… you… you… )
ohh ohh ohh without you
ohh ohh ohh without you
ohh ohh ohh without you
without you.
Listen to my voice
Is there any joy?
Yes you had a choice
Can you hear me now? Father!!
Without you.
I watched the fireworks explode,
and from your shoulders I could see a different world.
No lies, no hate, no fear, no pain,
just flashes of blue and yellow flame.
I smiled, you smiled, but smiles can fade.
How am I a product of this man?
I’ve watched the sunrise on his skin;
I’ve felt the warm touch of his hand.
Father I hope you understand,
that I’ve been running from your eyes,
but now I’m coming back again.
(Father!)
Calendar pages hit the floor
counting the days and years before
sons become men, plans change, paths bend,
'til I’m not your little one anymore.
And the winters pass,
now I see your face in the mirrored glass,
reminding me to slow down.
(well I've got to slow down)
'Cause my early grays,
and the bags under my eyes prove the case
that I can't handle the weight.
How am I a product of this man?
I’ve watched the sunrise on his skin;
I’ve felt the warm touch of his hand.
Father I hope you understand,
that I’ve been running from your eyes,
but now I’m coming back again.
I don’t want to be here,
I don’t want to be here alone.
Father it’s been to long,
take your son’s hand and walk me home.
And I watched the fireworks explode
Father, Father, Father!
How am I a product of this man?
I’ve watched the sunrise on his skin;
I’ve felt the warm touch of his hand.
Father I hope you understand,
that I’ve been running from your eyes,
but now I’m coming back again.
Father I hope you understand,
that I’ve been running from your eyes,
