Thierry Daniel Henry (French pronunciation: [tjɛʁi ɑ̃ʁi]; born 17 August 1977) is a French footballer who plays as a striker for New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer.
Henry was born in Les Ulis, Essonne (a suburb of Paris) where he played for an array of local sides as a youngster and showed great promise as a goal-scorer. He was spotted by AS Monaco in 1990 and signed instantly, making his professional debut in 1994. Good form led to an international call-up in 1998, after which he signed for the Serie A defending champions Juventus. He had a disappointing season playing on the wing, before joining Arsenal for £11 million in 1999.
It was at Arsenal that Henry made his name as a world-class footballer. Despite initially struggling in the Premier League, he emerged as Arsenal's top goal-scorer for almost every season of his tenure there. Under long-time mentor and coach Arsène Wenger, Henry became a prolific striker and Arsenal's all-time leading scorer with 228 goals in all competitions. The Frenchman won two league titles and three FA Cups with the Gunners; he was nominated for the FIFA World Player of the Year twice, was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year twice, and the FWA Footballer of the Year three times. Henry spent his final two seasons with Arsenal as club captain, leading them to the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final.

Plot
NEED is film #6 in the nine film 9@ Night cycle. A cinema portrait of 40-50 inner city characters living in the San Francisco Tenderloin circa 2001-2005 cast from the Tenderloin yGroup Actor's Ensemble. NEED goes into the shady alleys and smoky bars explored in many films with "noir" pedigree and genre intentions but takes a different tack. It tries to avoid the stereotypes of underworld life and the conventions of crime shows and detective series. Instead of "satin sheets, satin pillows" fatalism. it depicts the fragile friendships, the familial struggles, the competition as well as the solidarity between four women who work in the sex business in San Francisco's Tenderloin district. It is also a personal look at four distinct people and the people they love, deceive, endure and seek to know. Petite struggles to hold onto her relationship with Tyrone, a pool hustler, while Jane works as a stripper in the Gold Club. Lou, Jane's mother and a heroin addict, is a renegade aging prostitute who works the streets and bars in defiance of the pimps. Francesca manages an escort service and does phone sex. The film concentrates on the shared experiences which hold these women together and the strains of the business which threaten their friendship. In a profession which thrives on fantasy and martyrdom they struggle to hold onto their reasons for caring for each other.
Sex is in the Mind...Need is in the heart
Plot
With this film I wanted to engage people on some very dark levels. It was my goal to strip away your comfort zone in hopes to keep your emotions raw concerning the themes and topics of this film. This film was a very personal journey into my own soul in search of finding reasons for the how's and why's. After finishing this film I have realized that I'm no closer towards understanding. But perhaps this film was never supposed to supply answers than it was to keep our emotions raw. It is a very difficult film to watch. It was a very difficult film to make. But whether you agree or disagree with the film one thing remains true - atrocities like this happen constantly. And if we become numb to our atrocities we are truly lost.

I failed you, Henry I failed you good.
I was forgotten, and I understood.
But time, it stood still when you walked in.
I'm too proud to inquire as to where you've been.
Please don't take this the wrong way.
You're truly lovely, baby.
But the welcome matt, it ain't out.
My baby and I, will be just fine.
So be a man and just turn around.
And get along Henry.
Be a good boy Henry.
This is your song, Henry.
I guess this is goodbye.
I love you, Henry. Yeah I love you still.
I love your kisses. And I always will.
But I do not need you to raise this child.
I just want to go there to see you falling off that
cliff.
You weren't made to last here and I don't want to know
why you wear that smile.
So please don't say it will be alright.
You don't realise you're an old man in my eyes.
Don't say it wil be alright. And if you don't mind I'm
forgetting you this time.
You can't say you like this cause.
I know what you're been doing while you where playing
with my heart.
And now you're out to get me, but you won't see me out
there now when I'm gone.
So please don't say it will be alright. You don't realise
you're an old man im my eyes.
Don't say it wil be alright. And if you don't mind I'm
forgetting you this time.
Searching for a drop of liquor, feeling like a desert lake
Empty bottles fill the place, for God's sake
Stumbling down the stairs, got to get out in the open air
Seems as not alive, like already died DIED!
Present in the liquor-store; "gimme' booze forever more"
Let loose, search for the thrill
Sweet little flirting girl, say hello to daddy's world
Yet another portrait of a serial kill KILL!
It's not like he never tried
JUST TO FRONT AND TO UNDERSTAND
Tried to act NICE
Act like a decent man
JUST TO FRONT AND TO UNDERSTAND
It wouldn't work out right
He's back, he's in a bad mood
Henry's back, back but for no good
Take that, he came here to fuck you up
HE CAME HERE TO JUDGE!

Take that, he came here to fuck you up

Going cruising, in the mood, drink'n drive, search and find
Loaded gun, oh so cruel
Do you, Otis, dare to do it, hammer through, squeeze the trigger?

Remember if you can
When cotton was picked by hand
Down in Dixy under southern sky
Working from sun to sun
Remember if you will
Lightening from a whiskey still
The blues and the breese
The sweet magnolia trees
A little church house upon the hill
Chourus
And I can hear the Delta calling
From the light of a distant star
I can see my future and i can feel my past
When Henry plays his steel guitar
Ohhh oh yea
Instrumental
Wont you take be back in time
And free me from this crime
Well I have no shame and I have no blame
Its time for us to be moving on
Chours
And I can hear the Delta calling
From the light of a distant star
I can see my future and I can feel my past
When Henry plays his steel guitar
When Henry plays his steel guitar
And I can hear the delta calling
From the light of a distant star
I can see my future and I can feel my past
When Henry plays his steel guitar
When Henry plays his steel guitar
Every year along about this time it all goes dry
Nothing round for love or money that'll get you high.
Henry got pissed off and he run to Mexico
See if he could come back holdin' 29 keys of Gold.
Now the road to Acapulco is very hard indeed
And it isn't any better if you haven't any weed.
Henry struggled to hold it straight on twisty mountain roads
Fifty people waitin' back in hopes for Henry's load.
chorus:
Now he's rolling down the mountain goin' fast, fast, fast
And if he blows it this one's going to be his last
Run to Acapulco to turn the Golden Key
Henry keeps the brakes on for this corner if you please.
Henry got to Mexico and he turned his truck around
Talkin' with the man who has it growin' from the ground
Henry tasted, he got wasted, couldn't even see
How he's going to drive like that it's not clear to me.
CHORUS
Sunday afternoon, Tihajuana is a lovely town
Bullfight brings the tourist in, their money flowing down
Border guards are much too busy there at 5 o'clock
Henry truckin' right on through, he hardly even stopped.
This is much too nice
Pressing my insides
This is much too light
[Incomprehensible] puts fear to bed
The seeds left in her head
Don't let me forget [Incomprehensible]
This is much too nice
Pressing my insides
This is much too light
[Incomprehensible] puts fear to bed
The seeds left in her head
Can you hear the sound
Of your mother calling
When she let you out
And the leaves were falling
Chase, chase, chase
You can chase it away
I can't see you but you're ok
Henry, are you coming?
Chase, chase, chase
You can chase it away
I can't see you but you're ok
Henry, are you coming?
Buried in the ground
Of your mother's garden
Strike without a sound
Can't you hear her calling?
Chase, chase, chase
You can chase it away
I can't see you but you're ok
Henry, are you coming?
Chase, chase, chase
You can chase it away
I can't see you but you're ok
Henry, are you coming?
Can you see him
Running faster
In your slate grey suit and black
brogue shoes little horn rimmed glasses
you've got nothing to lose. But it's just
like a curse when you're the owner of a
hearse. You won't get very far in your long
black car
You make me shiver Henry
down at the mortuary
you're not just ordinary
and I get all in a dream
although you bring me roses
I'll have to think it over
you're not quite Casanova
but I get all in a dream
You're there all alone with your skin and
your bones and the man in the back
wants it all painted black
You make me shiver Henry
down at the mortuary
you're not just ordinary
and I get all in a dream
although you bring me roses
I'll have to think it over
you're not quite Casanova
countryside – henry turns over
his potato (resting) field to the left of his house
windmill noises sound like the rush of the sea
he gave me the curtain he used to look through
he’s reached the deadend of the rails
walks off the beaten track
Henry is a lonesome man
from a hundred years ago
grown up in a time of change
never lost his childish glow
the wind is telling of a lonely son
the copper stain from years to come
he is taking pictures of the sun
decided for the calm (the neighbors house stays calm)
countryside – henry’s up early
awaking to the sparse empty land
the isolation is hard to stand
what love is there to demand
there is a field in grid, a path, a hand
Slow down Henry, imagine for a while
That this life is all that you have
Clean out your office and pack up all your bags
I don't think that she'll understand
That your love is here with this band
Sing out Henry, the world is in you voice
It might not be far from the truth
You might not make it, you know how hard it is
But oh how you'll make the world shine
With just one song at a time
Slow down Henry, imagine for a while
That this life is all that you have
Clean out your office and pack up all your bags
I don't think that she'll understand
