Jeremy Ratchford (born August 6, 1965) is a Canadian actor. He starred as Nick Vera on the TV series Cold Case.
While in Canada, Ratchford played Marvel Comic book character Banshee in a live action version of Generation X TV movie. He also may have voiced the same character for a few episodes of the X-Men animated series, but it is not shown on his website and there is some confusion. He also starred in a series of Canadian Crispy Crunch candy bar commercials.
When Ratchford relocated to Hollywood, California, he played a sexual predator on an episode of NYPD Blue and two episodes of The Practice, as well as the vampire Lyle Gorch in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes "Bad Eggs" and "Homecoming" before being cast on Cold Case. On Cold Case, he played the character named Nick Vera.

When you want to take a risk and try something new often we find it easier if we bring a friend! So this week Lynn Ferguson dragged Jeremy Ratchford back into our makeshift studio to try Periscoping and podcasting at the same time... Erm. BBQ's & Bacon. Some extra footage from our Canada Day shoot... Jeremy Ratchford & Greg Hemphill just don't seem to stop talking...and this was the first time they'd met each other.
Jeremy Ratchford, from our Graduate class, tells his story of a simple meal in a restaurant in Moscow. Jeremy's Bio: A native of Canada but not a Canadian Native, Jeremy has been looking for work as an actor for over 30 years with a seven year layover on a show called Cold Case. Ratchford divides his time between looking for work and raising three insane lunatics he calls his sons. Life seems to be a never ending answering of questions, whether it's industry questions like, “ What's my character's motivation?” or questions from my children like, “Is there poo in shampoo?” Life’s too short to be afraid of speaking in public, so we decided to try to help anyone about to speak to an audience of any size - be it to an arena or a boardroom. In a single 6 min video Lynn Ferguson will change th...
Just as with countries, some cities have natural rivals. For Canada Day, Greg Hemphill and Jeremy Ratchford agreed to come into the ThisDayToday studio (guest bedroom) and answer any questions we might have. We shot about half an hour and even though we had a lot of fun, we somehow didn't seem to gain much knowledge about Canada Day. We got a ThisDayToday video, but there was so much more to share that we plan to post it here on our collaborator channel. This is the first of the additional footage.

Billionaire Mark Cuban ($3 billion net worth, Shark Tank, Dallas Mavericks owner) dropped by the house today for 4 hours to play some basketball, talk books, and share some future trends to invest in. I counted how many genius things he told me. It was 19 different points. He's a damn smart man - one of the most observant and aware people I've talked to in a long time. His reaction when I asked him how it felt to become a billionaire cracked me up, haha. One powerful point is that you only have to win once. Then everyone will forget your past mistakes. So true... Listen in and you will see why Mark's a game-changer. Shoot a text to me or M...

Generation X is a made-for-TV film which aired on FOX on February 20, 1996. It is based on the Marvel Comics series Generation X. It was produced by New World Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment. Characters from the comics: Emma Frost/White Queen (Finola Hughes) runs the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters with Banshee. She takes her job very seriously and wants to make sure the students are sufficiently trained for any situation. Part of the reason for this may be because in her past she trained another group called the Hellions who were lost, something she blames herself for. Before her teaching duties Emma worked as a researcher on a project to develop a "dream machine" to access the dream dimension, she came into conflict with fellow researcher Russel Tresh. Her powers include...
