Yes! (Chad Brock album)

Yes! is the second studio album released by country music artist Chad Brock. Lead-off single "A Country Boy Can Survive (Y2K Version)", featuring George Jones and Hank Williams, Jr., is a rewritten version of Williams' hit "A Country Boy Can Survive", rewritten to address the Y2K problem. This song peaked at #30 on the country charts in late 1999. Following it were the title track, which became Brock's only Number One hit in mid-2000, and finally "The Visit" at #21.

Maria Gaidar

Maria Yegorovna Gaidar (Russian: Мари́я Его́ровна Гайда́р; 1990–2004 Smirnova (Russian: Смирно́ва); born 21 October 1982, Moscow) is a Russian political activist and since July 2015 a vice-governor of Odessa Oblast in Ukraine. From 2009 till 2011 Gaidar was a deputy governor in Kirov Oblast in Russia. She is also the founder of the Youth movement "DA!" ("Yes!").

Personal life

Maria Gaidar is the daughter of former Russian Prime Minister, Yegor Gaidar. She is a granddaughter of Soviet admiral Timur Gaidar, and a great-granddaughter of famous Soviet writers Arkady Gaidar and Pavel Bazhov. Maria's parents divorced in 1985, three years after she was born. Gaida stayed with her mother, Irina Smirnova. In 1991 the family moved to Cochabamba, Bolivia, where they lived for five years. In 1996 she returned to Moscow.

In 2000 she entered and in 2005 graduated summa cum laude from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Gaidar is fluent in English, German, Spanish and her native Russian. In 2011, she was admitted to Harvard University for a Mid-Career Masters in Public Administration, where she studied for 8 months. In 2014 she graduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

Yes (Morphine album)

Yes is an album by alternative rock band Morphine, released in March 1995. It was their first album to make the Billboard Top 200, but fared less well abroad than its predecessor.

Universal Orlando

The Universal Orlando Resort, commonly known as Universal Orlando, is a theme park resort in Orlando, Florida. It is wholly owned by NBCUniversal and its affiliates. Universal Orlando is the largest property operated by Universal Parks & Resorts, is the largest resort in Orlando, Florida, and is the second-largest resort in Greater Orlando after Walt Disney World.

Over 1900 people work at Universal Orlando. Universal Orlando consists of two theme parks (Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure), a night-time entertainment complex (Universal CityWalk Orlando), and four Loews Hotels (Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Cabana Bay Beach Resort).

Universal (Borknagar album)

Universal is the eighth full-length album by the Norwegian metal band Borknagar. It marks the return of guitarist Jens F. Ryland. The band's former vocalist ICS Vortex performed vocals on the track My Domain. The album was intended to be released in the fall of 2009, but the release date was postponed as a result of a label decision. It was released on 22 February 2010 in four formats: a regular jewelcase CD, a limited digipack which includes a bonus disc, a CD box with extras, and a gatefold LP with double vinyl.

Background

Øystein G. Brun, the founder of the band, notes that: "We are extremely satisfied with the result! The album turned out even better than we dared to hope for when starting this journey. There is an attitude, energy and nerve to this record that will appeal to the most primal side of man, yet there is complexity and atmosphere that will challenge the most sophisticated parts of mind. The album contains all the elements that made Borknagar the band we are and we are firmly believe [sic] that this album will be a huge piece of candy for those who have followed the band through the years. This is by far the most complete album we have done to date- musically and productionwise- and we are right now just immensely eager to get the album out there!"

Garden (album)

Garden is a live album by Cecil Taylor recorded at Basel Switzerland, November 16, 1981 and released on the Hat Hut label. The album features seven solo performances by Taylor on a Bösendorfer grand piano and was originally released as a double LP in 1982 the rereleased as two single CDs entitled Garden 1 and Garden 2 in 1990.
