Flavor or flavour is the sensory impression of a food or other substance, and is determined mainly by the chemical senses of taste and smell. The "trigeminal senses", which detect chemical irritants in the mouth and throat as well as temperature and texture, are also very important to the overall Gestalt of flavor perception. The flavor of the food, as such, can be altered with natural or artificial flavorants, which affect these senses.
Flavorant is defined as a substance that gives another substance flavor, altering the characteristics of the solute, causing it to become sweet, sour, tangy, etc.
Of the three chemical senses, smell is the main determinant of a food item's flavor. While the taste of food is limited to sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and umami (savory) – the basic tastes – the smells of a food are potentially limitless. A food's flavor, therefore, can be easily altered by changing its smell while keeping its taste similar. Nowhere is this better exemplified than in artificially flavored jellies, soft drinks and candies, which, while made of bases with a similar taste, have dramatically different flavors due to the use of different scents or fragrances. The flavorings of commercially produced food products are typically created by flavorists.

Flavor
Got the flavor
Got the flavor
Feel so good about a piece of trash, the birds are drunk, they're drinking from a glass
White lightning and an ol' fruit cup
(? )(? )box rock where you are
Dig my grave with a silver spade
Juiced up, from africa to spain
Ghetto blastin to the drivin' lane
Insane in the mundane
Pass the bucket, drink your wheels,
Spinnin it back
Black shit
Cause I got the flavor
Yeah I got the flavor
Cause I got the flavor
Yeah I got the flavor
Gah what the fuck? got the flavor.. oh!
Damn!
Out in the moonlight takin' requests,
Rippin' the blues out of your vests
Stripmine the built to flood
Stricnine with head down with a thud
Cause I got the blues and I can't be satisfied..
Yeah I got the blues, we're gonna catch that train and ride
Flavor..
Flavor..
Flavor..
Got the taste..
Got the taste...
Yeah got the taste..
Got the taste
Got a bucket?
Oh got the flavor in my gut
Oh yeah shake your guts
Cause I got the taste
Cause I got the taste
Cause I got the taste
Cause I got the taste
Got the taste, flavor!
Suddenly, you spread from my hands
Far away, you've drummed in my mind
In my mind
That's the only thing we can decide
Rest is down, somewhere the sirens are
The sirens are
The sirens are
We arrived in the room of nowhere
Smells of gasoline, taste of
chemistry...
Of chemistry
Of chemistry
floored, I don't feel right
so much flavor he? sick you know
give up love your arm suffers
so I can invite her spit
I don't feel right so much flavor I? sick
but don't trip.
love, I don't feel right
so much flavor he's very, very sick
give up love your arm suffers
so she can invite all of our spit
I don't feel right so much flavor
I'm sick but don't trip
eyes are shut crib cries
flush loose teeth pistol whipped
she faints you're gone bye, bye
God she's so sick of being second
taste dies sex when high heart goes limp
she cares you're gone bye, bye
God she's so sick of being second
God she's so sick of being second
God it's such a sin to be second
have you ever witnessed full blown romance
and there ain't no question they held hands like
we did and your love thank you for having me
I've witnessed timeless love
You're gone bye, bye
I don't feel right, I don't feel right
I don't feel right
God she's so sick of being second never again
Back to love the minds
Cries Below
Cries Above
You must pick a side
Will you choose fear
Will you choose love
Chorus:
What does it look like
This orbital ball
From the fringes of the milky way
What does it feel like
This orbital ball
On The fringes of the milky way
Raining fla..fla...falavor
I've seen fla..fla...flavor, flavor, love
Who's God then is God
They all want jur..jurisdiction
In the book of Eris
Who's God spread fear
Spread love
Chorus:
What does it look like
This orbital ball
From the fringes of the milky way
What does it feel like
This orbital ball
On The fringes of the milky way
Raining fla..fla...falavor
I've seen fla..fla...flavor, flavor, love
Try not to breath when seen
What does it look like
This orbital ball
From the fringes of the milky way
What does it feel like
This orbital ball
On The fringes of the milky way
Raining fla..fla...flavor
I've seen fla..fla...flavor
Spread that fla..fla...flavor
Flavor

SPOKEN: I’d like to dedicate this song to Mr. Gerard
Cosloy
Crazy
Everybody singin’ ‘bout way back
Ida Red, just got a taste
And it’s a man who got the flavor
No instant one…
It tastes there
You got to know I’m down to do
It’s got the feeling
It’s got the flavor
Well now it tastes like this
Don’t got to do and nobody doin’
Ida Red, she made me love
Them girls’ll tell ya
Get down, baby
I can’t be cooler
A rock ‘n’ roller
Oh Ida Red, she got the flavor
Long time ago there was a king
Took all the…he ever could
I came on home back in the States
My baby cravin’
Just loved the taste
You got the flavor
You got the flavor
You got the flavor
You got the flavor
It tastes of this
It tastes of that
It tastes of this
Like that
Damn
You’re a bad mother humper
People are crazy around here
Wake up
Wake up
Way back
Way back
Let’s go

Feel so good about a piece of trash
Prefer it to drugs
Take it from my class
World is hungry
White lightning
I get juiced
From Africa to Spain
Ghetto blastin’ down the lane
Head for the sycamore shade
Dig my grave with a silver spade
Makin’ a list, take requests
Flip ‘em the blues outta your vest
Click 9, hit ‘em with the crush
Strip mine helps to flood
When you dig up the past it’s just the point
Static in the north 'cause I got the blues
Never be satisfied
Got the blues
Gonna catch that train and ride
Yeah, got it
That good?
All right
You want me to do one more?
You got the flavor
You want me to do one more?
You got the flavor
