The body of a woman Lillian Jepkorir, has been exhumed a second time since she was first buried early this year. Fear and agony gripped friends, family and residents of Chesanga village; Aina-moi constituency in Kericho County after undertakers descended on a grave and exhumed the body. The exercise was conducted under the presence of armed police officers who stood by the grave as the family watched at a distance. The exhumation follows a court order in favor of Elias Njogu who filed a complain at Kericho High court accusing the deceased's family of burying their loved one pending another case filed in Embu early march. The body of the deceased was allegedly buried in the month of February for the first time by her husband in Gachari Village, Gikiiro Sub-Location, Embu County after she passed on but this other Family from Kericho went to court seeking the body claiming that Elias had not paid the dowry. The body now lies at Kericho District Hospital Mortuary awaiting a court decision.

STORYLINE
At least one person was killed and forty-seven people were injured in Kenya on Wednesday when a tanker carrying petrol exploded near the town of Kericho, a doctor at the district hospital said.
The injured were taken to Kericho District Hospital where several people were treated for severe burns.
John Kirui, a doctor at Kericho District Hospital said that one person had succumbed to their injuries.
At least ten patients who had 70 percent burns would be airlifted to a hospital in Nairobi for further treatment, Kirui added.
Eyewitness Ronald Kiplagat, who lives near the scene of the explosion, said people had gathered around the tanker to change the engine battery when the fuel somehow ignited.
A boot and a pair of charred trousers could be seen on the ground near the smouldering vehicle.
A police spokesman warned the public against siphoning fuel from tankers involved in accidents, and said there had been problems in the Kericho area with local people attempting to drive security officers away so they could take fuel from overturned tankers, Kenya's Capital Radio reported.
Kenya's Agriculture Minister William Ruto, who visited the hospital, said the government was "fast-tracking" the development of pipelines and railways to transport fuel to try to avoid future tanker accidents.
This is the second time a fuel tanker has exploded in Kenya this year.
In February an overturned petrol tanker exploded as hundreds of people were trying to scoop up free fuel, killing at least 111 people in the town of Molo.

STORYLINE:
An overturned petrol tanker exploded as hundreds of people were trying to scoop up free fuel, killing at least 111 people and wounding 200 in one of Kenya's deadliest accidents, officials said on Sunday.
Hundreds of impoverished people had flocked to the overturned tanker on a road in the town of Molo on Saturday night to siphon fuel when it exploded, likely sparked by a cigarette.
Nearby hospitals have been overwhelmed, with victims lining the floors, including small children, suffering from horrific burns.
Authorities expect the death toll to rise and were searching the scorched woods for corpses.
Burnt-out cars and charred clothing littered the road where the shell of the tanker stood, about 105 miles (170 kilometres) northwest of the capital, Nairobi.
On Sunday, hundreds gathered by the wreckage, desperate for any news of missing loved ones.
The regional manager for the Kenya Red Cross said many bodies have been charred beyond recognition.
Police are still investigating reports that Saturday's explosion may have been caused by a cigarette.
The Kenyan government has been criticised for poor safety regulations recently.
Nearly 30 people died on Wednesday when a massive fire swept through a supermarket in downtown Nairobi.

President Kenyatta, Ruto Hold Rally In Kapkatet Grounds, Kericho
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have lashed out at politicians stocking rebellion in the Jubilee coalition saying they must desist from rocking their boat from within. Speaking at the historic Kapkatet grounds in Kericho county, President Kenyatta said it was such dissent that derailed the country's development agenda under the grand coalition government and warned that they will not sit back and entertain the same. Unlike yesterday in Eldoret , the perceived rebels from URP led by Nandi hills MP Alfred Keter skipped the rally which was cut short by a heavy downpour.

The driver of the canter had minor injuries but his turn boy died at the scene. Another passenger in the canter broke her legs and is currently receiving treatment at Kericho District Hospital. Man dies as he looks for hidden brew in a pit in Kericho
A young man has suffocated to death in Kericho after he descended into a pit in search of illicit brew hidden in the pits by a brewer keen on evading detection and arrest in the ongoing crackdown against illicit brews. Kericho OCPD Kipkemoi Rop said the late Philip Kipyegon Korir, was on a mission to get part of 3500 litres of kangara that had been hidden in caskets. Kipyegon died due to lack of oxygen as well as the toxic content in the drink as he was being taken to hospital. Three other men who had accompanied Kipyegon down the pit escaped death as they were rescued in time. Residents of Chepng’obop village of Kapsaos, Kericho County then watched as police officers destroyed the liquor and commended the efforts of chiefs in the fight against illicit brew. The body of Kipyegon is at the Kericho District Hospital Mortuary.

Body of woman exhumed twice in family wrangles
