C This user has access to Credo through The Wikipedia Library

Account Coordinator: Nikkimaria will be approving accounts and collecting email addresses.

Credo Reference is a collection of online reference works. Credo donated 400 free "Credo 250" user accounts to Wikipedians in 2010 and 2011. These provided access to over two million entries from the reference works listed here. In August 2012 Credo expanded their offerings to the community from 250 to 350 full text reference works, after a survey was conducted to select the sources editors wanted most. Credo also expanded to 500 total participants, including reassigned accounts from editors who relinquished theirs. Not everyone who wanted an account was able to get one, but accounts may be re-distributed if editors decide to stop using them. If you would like to *give up* an account, please add your name at the bottom of this page. You can still sign up for accounts, which will help Credo see that demand is growing and we'd like some more!

  1. SMcCandlish (talk · contribs). Renewal. Wikipedian for 8+ years. I have a degree in anthropology and applied linguistics, but am not a student or a professional academic so I don't have journal and other research database access any longer. My main research needs are in life sciences (felinology, herpetology, commercial animal breeding, history of domestication), anthropology/archaeology/history (e.g. history of sport), early modern to contemporary arts, and various other topics (I'm a major contributor to articles on albinism, linguistics, and other subjects that require citation of peer reviewed sources).  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  13:02, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

I write articles on plants, animals, and locations in the Pacific region, as well as notable deceased Americans. I intend to continue a similar pattern of editing.
