The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football franchise that plays in the East division of the National Football Conference (NFC) of the National Football League (NFL). They are headquartered in Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The team plays its home games at AT&T; Stadium in Arlington, Texas, within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area, which finished construction in time for the 2009 season.[1] The Cowboys joined the NFL as a 1960 expansion team.[2] The team's national following might best be represented by its NFL record of consecutive home sell-outs. The Cowboys' streak of 160 sold-out regular and post-season games began in 1990, and included 79 straight sellouts at their former home, Texas Stadium, and 81 straight sell-outs on the road.[3] The franchise shares the record for most Super Bowl appearances (8) with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots, corresponding to most NFC championships (8). The Cowboys won 5 of those, tying them with their NFC rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, both are second to Pittsburgh's record 6 Super Bowl championships.[4] The Cowboys are the only NFL team to record 20 straight winning seasons (1966–85), in which they only missed the playoffs twice (1974 and 1984), an NFL record that remains unchallenged.
The Cowboys, at approximately $3.2 billion, are the most valuable NFL franchise according to Forbes, and the most valuable sports team in the United States.[5] They are tied with soccer club FC Barcelona for the second-most in the world; only Real Madrid ($3.4b) is valued higher than the Cowboys.[6] They also generate $560 million in revenue, again the most of any NFL team

A highlight film of the 2001-2002 National Football League season, leading up to the conference championship games. Though the Super Bowl itself is not shown, as this was produced the week prior to the big game, the New England Patriots won the championship that year over the St. Louis Rams.
This came off of a Super Bowl XXXI-XL DVD collection I own. It most likely aired on FOX hours before the Super Bowl was played.
Also, yes, there was an encoding error here. I accidentally included the first part of the accompanying Super Bowl XXXVI highlight show by mistake. The RTSB segment itself is shorter than usual, and I assumed it would be its usual length of 44 minutes.

The 1973 North American Soccer League champion Philadelphia Atoms' highlight film, narrated by "the voice of God," John Facenda (better known for his narration of NFL Films).
The 1973 were the first team in the "modern era" of U.S. soccer to win a league cup using a predominantly American lineup. Philadelphia started six Americans in the final against Dallas in an era when most clubs started none.

Super Bowl XXVII was an American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Buffalo Bills and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Dallas Cowboys to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 1992 season. The Cowboys defeated the Bills by the score of 52–17, winning their third Super Bowl in team history, and their first one in fifteen years. The Bills became the first team to lose three consecutive Super Bowls, and just the second team to play in three straight (the Miami Dolphins played in Super Bowls VI-VIII, winning VII and VIII). The game was played on January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the seventh and most recent Super Bowl that the Greater Los Angeles Area has hosted.
The Bills advanced to their third consecutive Super Bowl after posting an 11–5 regular season record, but entered the playoffs as a wild card after losing tiebreakers. The Cowboys were making their sixth Super Bowl appearance after posting a 13–3 regular season record. It was the first time that the two franchises had played each other since 1984.
Dallas forced a Super Bowl record nine turnovers—four interceptions and five lost fumbles—en route to their win over Buffalo. Thirty-five of the Cowboys' points came off of those turnovers, including three first half touchdowns. Bills backup quarterback Frank Reich, who replaced injured starter Jim Kelly in the second quarter, threw a 40-yard touchdown on the final play of the third quarter to cut the lead to 31–17, but Dallas scored three more touchdowns in the fourth quarter. In the game's most memorable play, another Cowboys touchdown could have been scored on defensive lineman Leon Lett's fumble return, but he was stripped of the ball by Buffalo wide receiver Don Beebe as Lett started to showboat just before crossing the Buffalo goal line, and the football rolled into the Buffalo endzone and out of bounds for a touchback. Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman was named Super Bowl MVP, completing 22 of 30 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns for a passer rating of 140.6, while also rushing for 28 yards.
Michael Jackson performed during the entire halftime show, starting the NFL's trend of signing top acts to appear during the Super Bowl to attract more viewers and interest.

"A Face For the '70s," NFL Films' 1970 Los Angeles Rams yearbook. In the first year of the post-merger NFL realignment, George Allen's team went 9-4-1 to finish second in the NFC West, one game behind the 49ers. Allen was fired, and the film, produced in 1971, begins with the introduction of head coach Tommy Prothro, who would stay in that role for two seasons before the arrival of Chuck Knox in 1973. Narrated by Dick Enberg.
