Kleppe is a village in, and the administrative centre of, the municipality of Klepp, in the county of Rogaland, Norway.
"Kleppe" comes from the old Nordic word "kleppr": stone, hill. The population around Kleppe is growing rapidly, mostly in the form of suburban single-family homes, but also in the form of apartment blocks. The village itself has around 3,000 inhabitants - but including the neighboring Verdalen the area has 7,348 (2009 "urban settlement" statistics from Statistics Norway).

But what happens at night when we get rid of bloated libraries and browser dependencies? What will we discover deep under the surface if we dissect the language of the web into its atomic parts? In this talk we will hack tweet-sized games, write code in only six characters and create the self-modifying "Hello World" in less than 1024 bytes of JavaScript. All just for fun and without asking "Why?". Prepare yourself for 140 slides full of old-school ASCII art and crazy code golfing! Programming is art: It is like painting, but instead of drawing on a canvas we populate computer screens with colours. And rather than using brushes, we combine bits and bytes to trace an ever-changing flow of images. In this talk, you'll be introduced to the art of "Creative Coding" and how to generate beautiful new worlds, using nothing else than the languages of the Web.
Slides: https://speakerdeck.com/aemkei/jsconf-budapest-invisible-code http://jsconfbp.com/#aemkei The JavaScript world has seen stunning demos in 1024 bytes, crazy hacks in 140 characters and esoteric sequences of only 6 different symbols. This talk will push the limits even further and reveal, how to write "Invisible Code": Hidden programs that will execute with mind-bending magic.

Erotic song for male choir, on a poem by James Purdy. Performed by The Gents, conducted by Béni Csillag. (Commissioned by FPK, recording by Etienne Heemskerk.)
This ya thing I wanna say
Wouldn't throw my love away
I'm coming with the tide
So I never gonna ride off on a side
This is my chariot
My lonely days are gone
This is my chariot
I never gonna blow it once again
Or twice, no nice, cause your eyes is my price
I'm coming with the autumn
I'm coming with the autumn wind
I'm coming with the autumn
I'm coming with the autumn wind
Pick down the apple from the tree
It's charity for you and me
The autumn wind blow chilly and cold
And you are the one that I wanna hold
Please take your stand and come with me
Cast your spell and set us free
From ball and chain
And then we know which way to go
I'm coming with the autumn
I'm coming with the autumn wind
I'm coming with the autumn
