Briefs on possible Riverfest trouble from Covington Kentucky, guy who altered TVs with messages arrested by the FCC. Possible Indiana animal shelter cruelty, Kansas City Royals manager Dick Howser's brain tumor surgery (sadly he died the following year). -Bob Seger's record breaking Riverbend Arena concerts in August, not long after his "Like A Rock" album came out. 1987 -(Credit to Steve Bailey) With anchor Toria Tolley, first coming out of a story about Marines arrested overseas, then Toria introducing the segment of kids who ran a local newspaper & them joking around at the end. -Funny story on Collins interviewing the then-mayor Charlie Luken (ironically HE later replaced Jerry as an anchorman!) by himself with one handheld camcorder. -Partial speech from receiving a "Best Anchor" award. 1988 -blurb from a bus driver's strike commentary -profile on Andy Williams, showing his high school yearbook picture! -with sports anchor Ken Broo coming out of a story on high school basketball. -With Norma at a Bicentennial party for Cincinnati on July 4th. -Promo for "Decision 88" about the presidential election, with Tom Brokaw joining in. -(Credit to teeveeschmeevee) November 29 promo for the 5:30 newscast (with Toria Tolley) on a panda leaving town, Kentucky ski resort, and slasher/horror movies. 1989 -(Credit to Marko Srdanovic) Nancy Reagan's autobiography book "My Turn" released, and bantering at the end about how it was a good book, despite some reviewers not liking it. -Flashback (sorry its covered by talking) of a commentary. 1990 -Quick flashback of a news clip together. -(Credit to Steve Lyons.) On location in Pittsburgh outside Three Rivers Stadium talking about differences and similarities between both cities during the playoffs with the Reds and Pirates that year. He briefly interviewed local fans outside Three Rivers (sadly demolished in 2001) which was replaced with PNC Park. 1991 -Profile on Truckin' Bozo Dale Summers (RIP), Jerry mentioning that he was actually also a great lobbyist for truckers, and Norma flirting with him afterwards! -With anchor Betsy Ross, coming out of a story on college students doing a pie in the face for charity. -Profile of ghosts and hauntings at Bobby Mackey's Music World, and how it unnerved Michael Collins when he went there. -Jerry and Norma briefly reading two lines from "Twas the Night Before Christmas." 1992: -Partial report on West Virginia prison escapees -Jerry trying to tell a joke with Norma (also with weatherman Pat Barry). -(Credit to laurarandallmedia.) "When Jerry Springer Ruled the World" (2005) flashback section, brief interviews with Norma, and local writer and columnist John Kiesewetter. The same mid 80s and 1990 clips as seen before (mentioning a local political election), '92 commentary blurb about teaching kids values, and meeting Pope John Paul II in 1986.
