Terry Ray Gordy, Sr. (April 23, 1961 - July 16, 2001) was a professional wrestler who was best known in North America for being a member of the Fabulous Freebirds.
Gordy started wrestling in 1975 at the age of 14 as Terry Mecca for the I.W.A. In early 1979, he began wrestling under his real name and formed the Fabulous Freebirds with Michael Hayes. Buddy Roberts was later added to the group. In 1982, the Freebirds went to World Class Championship Wrestling and had a heated and memorable feud with the Von Erichs (David, Kevin, Kerry and Mike).
The Freebirds spent some time in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions where they split to feud briefly, but later reunited. They also spent a very brief time in the WWF, but left after management suggested splitting them up.
In 1986, when the Freebirds were in the Universal Wrestling Federation, Gordy won the UWF Heavyweight title and held it for 6 months, before losing it via forfeit to The One Man Gang, after an angle the same night which saw Gordy injured at the hands of "Dr. Death" Steve Williams. During this time, Gordy and the Freebirds had an ongoing feud with UWF fan favorite Hacksaw Jim Duggan, which saw Duggan and Gordy frequently squaring off, usually ending in a disqualification due to outside interference.
Richard Morgan Fliehr (born February 25, 1949) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Ric Flair. Also known as "The Nature Boy", Flair is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time with a professional career that spans 40 years. He is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and is noted for his lengthy and highly decorated tenures with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (now known as WWE). Flair is officially recognized by WWE, TNA and PWI as a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion (seven-time NWA Champion, seven-time WCW Champion and two-time WWF Champion) although his actual tally of World Championship reigns varies by source—Flair considers himself a 21-time world champion.
In World Championship Wrestling (WCW), he also had two stints as a booker—in 1989–1990 and 1994. Flair also became the first and only man to have won the WWF Championship in a Royal Rumble match, when he accomplished this in the 1992 edition of the event. In 2012, Flair became the first ever double inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame, first inducted in 2008 for his individual career, and for a second time in 2012 as a member of the Four Horsemen. He is also an NWA Hall of Famer (class of 2008). Flair's hair styles and mannerisms are based on those of Buddy Rogers, who previously and famously used the "Nature Boy" gimmick in the 1950s and '60s. Coincidentally, Flair also followed Rogers in becoming the second man to win both the WWF and the NWA World Heavyweight Championships.
Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit (French pronunciation: [bəˈnwɑ]) (May 21, 1967 – June 24, 2007) was a Canadian professional wrestler whose career and life ended in a murder–suicide. During his professional wrestling career, Benoit worked for such major promotions as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE).
Among other accolades, Benoit is a two-time world champion: a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, one-time World Heavyweight Champion (tied for third longest reign in history). Both of his world title reigns were represented by the Big Gold Belt: Benoit is one of four men to have held the Big Gold Belt in both WCW and WWE, alongside Bill Goldberg, Booker T and Big Show. He is also a record-tying five-time WCW/WWE United States Champion, having held the championship twice in WCW, and three times in WWE. The twelfth WWE Triple Crown Champion and seventh WCW Triple Crown Champion, he is the second of four men in history to achieve both the WWF and WCW Triple Crown Championships.
Lyrics by Tharen
Forlorn it lies the vale in the storms
In solitude since the beginning of time
Forgotten, lost and only visited
By the icy winds that make
The surronding mountains rugged
Together with the waters which flow down
From the mountains sides,
which flow down from the mountains sides.
There, in this untouched landscape,
Strifed only by the elemantary mights
There, where the spirit opens fully to
To the pain of solitude.
But where the grief has no mortal reason
Only the beautiness and isolation.
There I want to rest and to guard
To leave it forever unseen.
Forlorn it lies the vale in the storms
In solitude since the beginning of time
Forgotten, lost and only visited
By the icy winds that make
The surronding mountains rugged
Together with the waters which flow down
From the mountains sides,
Which way is the right path
As I stand upon
This chaotic crossroad of hate...
How many ways
Are there to roam
On this dark and damned
Road of fate...
There are many ways my son,
To find where the souls
Of demons remain...
But it takes only one second
Of despair
And of doubt until at last,
Your soul they will gain...
Inherit these lands,
These things,
These dreams that are yours,
Forever to adore
For there is no life,
In the depths of chaos,
My son for you to explore.
There are many ways my son,
To find where the souls
Of demons remain...
But it takes only one second
Of despair and of doubt
Until at last,
Your soul they will gain...
Inherit these lands,
These things,
These dreams that are yours,
Forever to adore
For there is no life,
In the depths of chaos,
Blind eyes that see more
as what is hidden in your face
blind eyes see the skull
behind your skin.
It feels you're growing
older with every second.
It sees your decay in every minute.
A soulless corpse with wings of death.
A desolated mind without fears.
This is it what this entity belongs to -
Down the halls,
Where no light glows-
Where once was life
Now shadows move.
Without mind,
Without a will
They search...
And never fade away,
The end of all paths is their aim,
But never they will find again
What was lost
In nowhere once,
In the space that is called time.
Down the halls,
Where the silence lasts,
In the dark where dust prevails
The shadows lurk
Beyond your sight
And follow you
To where you go.
Quietly they listen
To your breath,
And in obscurity
They wait for you.
You must move
To find the key
That only the blind can see.
Instead of wisdom
Thou need instinct.
But even if you call my name
A shadow you will be again.
Here at the top of a mountain
in a clear night under the stars
that seem to fall every next moment
I receive a vision.
A vision of a rising empire.
An union of the strong,
So we awaked
In a place beyond space and time
Where mortal limits last no more.
We left the balance
And the fading world
Witout regret,
Without on more thought.
Carried by the shadows we drift
Into another sphere.
Erased are fear
And all emotions -
I feel the great collective now.
Within the everlasting void -
Time never existed
And constant...
Lyrics by Tharen
Forgotten powers are revealed
By fire we are sworn -
To the everlastingness, to eternity, to the void
The sign of the dragon shines through
The opaque darkness in our eyes
Enthraled by eternity's winds
We shall grow forth to become one
With the unspeakable
The icon of wisdom -
A key to time and realities
Tall it strands and unreachable
For those who are not able to hear eternity's voice
It shall be a monument for the few
Who stand at the very edge of the abyss,
Who posses the right of passage
The gate is closed, but it is no you
To see through the veil that lies above the shimmering stars
So it is written and so it will be done
The furious flames, they dance with pride
Between the heavens and the deadly depths
This is a beginning and an end
I can see whart you see not.
Visions milky than eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone
whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be:
Shadows move where light should be.
Death is their curse to the sun
to walk the way they had begun.
Out of darkness out of mind
I am one you called -
deep in the night you lost your soul.
Through demon eyes you saw
what lies behind the mask of life.
To ride with me - to cross the firesea...
were these your greatest dreams?
Eternal wisdom you will earn -
far away from present days.
Through demon eyes you saw
the spheres I left for centuries.
Shadows of the worlds beyond -
they touch you like a burning wind.
A circlegate of neverending journeys
in close to the eyes
you now call your own.
Walk the path of spirit
into dimensions unknown.
Aus den Kampfliedern
(Alkaios von Mytilene, c. 400 B.C.)
In solchem Seesturm treibt unser Schiff dahin.
Waters unleashed...
Fires unbound...
Ashes surround my feet
as i see how might could work... once more...
Shadows that embrace me
with their wings of frozen fears -
my elements the necromancer's dream -
tear flesh from bone...
seperate the spirit from flesh.
Stones brokeup, iron melted
as I set my feet at the shores of underworld
Now pure to enter the fotbidden realms
I walked the path of spirit once more.
As pureas the prophecies had told.
"And he shall journey into the realms of the dead,
and hecontent with the forces therein
unto the very gates of despair,
to gain knowledge from the burning lands,
Lyrics by Tharen
Time has demanded it's sacrifice...
After thousands of burned books
And the murder of uncounted wise women and men
One should think that
The age of innocence has gone...
Beyond the seas of oblivion
Lie the mountains of wisdom
As old as the bones of the earth,
As cold as ice, as pure as snow
Dive the seas of oblivion
To reach the mountains of wisdom
Flee the caves of ignorance
And set yourself forever free
Here, at the heart of the earth
My spirit rests
In the embrace of time
Ecce anus in mediis sedens annosa puellis
sacra facit Tacitae - nec tamen illa tacet -
et digitis tria tura tribus sub limine ponit,
qua brevis occultum mus sibi fecit iter...
tunc cantata ligat cum fusco licia plumbo
et septem nigras versat in ore fabas,
quodque pice adstriuxit, quod acu traiecit aena,
obsutum maenae torret in igne caput,
vina quoque instillat... vini quodcumque
relictum est, aut ipsa aut comites, plus
tamenipsa bibit, "hostiles linguas
inimicaque vinximus ora",
Lyrics by Q. Horatius Flaccus
Exegi monumentum aere perennius
Regalique situ pyramidum altius,
quod non imber edax, non aquilo impotens
possit diruere aut innumerabilis
annorum series et fuga temporum
Non omins moriar multaque pars mei
Vitabiet Libitinam... usque ego postera
Crescam laude recens, dum Capitolium
Scander cum tacita virgine pontifex
Dicar, qua violens obsterpit Aufidus
Et qua pauper aquae Daunus agrestium
Regnavit populorum, ex humili potens
Princeps Aeolium carmen ad Italos
Deduxisse modos. Sume superbiam
Quaesitam meritis et mihi Delphica
Lyrics by Tharen
Thousands of miles in the dust to see,
upon a path leading to nowhere.
Destination unknown,
only trees in the distance to see.
they walk a path
where life has never been.
Banished from their realm,
only following honour and their will to survive.
Destination unknown,
only phantoms in the distance.
Following a leader,
following the thirst for honour,
the only thing that was left...
The light, it seems to flee their near,
like they're dead and already forgotten.
Behind every crossing lurks the unknown,
constantly accompanied by fear and desperation.
They wander the path
where no angel guards,
their souls delivering to the devil.
Wandering a path always hidden in dust,
towards the phantoms of future.
Lyrics by Tharen
Encrypted signs appear red glowing,
contrasting the deep dark stone.
Energetic they sweep before my eyes.
My mind opens to an event horizon,
my body fills with energy,
the opening for the last chapter is to come.
I never bowed down before a god,
I never lost my subsconscious freedom,
but always there are shadows following
the way of the sorcerer, and so I have mine.
I feel a cold hand touching my heart,
Spears made of flames raging the skies
The revenge of the ancients I feel
for breaking their last seal,
but preperation brought me to this point
and not the simple spirit of adventure.
My phantasm supreme, the last gate,
the last chapter of my terrestrial,
my temporal,
my mortal existence is to come;
"Eternity" is only a word made by mortals too.
I see the dissolution, the return of chaos
and maybe the rise of a new order?
I call forth the storm of punishement upon the earth,
"I never lived elsewhere
Than in dimensions of fear.
My spirit is enthroned in the land
Of the silent moving shadows.
Where a deep red fountain
Keeps a thousand lakes of blood.
And the stairways to nowhere
Are the only hope
That remains to the souls...
In this eternal realm of pain.
This is the only place
I can remember
In my ancient existence.
And the gate, I am.
Here it's not a question
Of life and death anymore,
But of torment and despair.
Here lie bodies
Of unnameable kinds,
Tortured by soulless demons
...and worse...
Goodness reflects the light,
And evil, bears the seeds
Of all darkness.
These are the mirrors of the soul,
The reflections of the mind.
So choose well, wanderer,
For here lurk truth and damnation.
It belongs to you
I listened for ages
To the whispering of aeons
No one really ever answered
Just riddles
For the living ones
I was sitting aside
The statues of old
Listening to voices
And languages unknown
Beholding the pride
Of timelessness
Under ancient trees
Many carved their names
And thoughts here
Washed away by uncounted
Rainfalls and storms
Melancholic mood
Is filling this place
This place in my very mind
Listening to the statues of stone
Beholding the ancestors of old
I shall strive no more
In the present world
I lay back and fall in dreams
About times long ago
Listening to my ancestors of stone
I call forth the cold
The coming signs of winter
The coming signs of winter
Black hands raised to the sky
Silhouettes of trees with no more leaves
Growing on their long lean twigs
Soul mirrors showing me
A shadowed face
Waters – frozen and rugged, unmoved
Cloth, white, is falling
on the ground
Snow from the sky
Trying to hide
The face of the earth
Thousand daggers are piercing my skin
Winds from the north, alone in the skies
I call forth the cold
The coming signs of winter
I call forth the cold
The coming signs of winter
The coming signs of winter
Ravens seem to be the only
Life beside me – suddenly
They cover the sky to the horizon
Blood becomes ice
Flesh becomes rock
I call forth the cold
The coming signs of winter
Winter
I call forth the cold
The coming signs of winter
Winter
I call forth the cold
Behold the bearer of light,
the flame of wisdom.
Leader, not servant of a throne.
Far beneath the sun,
far beneath the conscious he dwells.
Trusting in nothing, leading the blind.
Behold the bearer of darkness,
the bringer of light,
with a crown of sins,
enlightened eyes.
Leader, not servant of a throne.
only where darkness reigns
you need a flame as a guide.
Behold the bearer of light,
the flame of wisdom.
Leader, not servant of a throne.
Far beneath the sun
far beneath the conscious surface he dwells.
Trusting in nothing, leading the blind.
Behold the bearer of darkness,
the bringer of flames.
Leader, not servant of a throne.
With a crown of sins,
enlightened eyes.

Live...between the wolf in your heart
And the cross in your back.
Betrayed by your belief -
Sworn to your arms -
You had never any choice.
Thou will wander endlessly
In the shadows of thy doubt...
Possessed by your desires.
Fight for the wolf in your heart
Against the cross in your back.
See the dark side of thy soul
As clear as thou
Once have seen the sun.
Enjoy the pain that lies
In this tragic beauty
Of your being.
Death is worth to be worshipped
And damnation consists
Of undoubtly truth.
Thou broke the cross
And fell into everlasting darkness.
Te in signum mortis.
Silva vetus stabat nulla violata
Securi et specus in media virgis

Hos necat adflatu
Funesti tabe venemi,
I feel this cold darkness
The very emptiness calls me.
Follow me on my path...
Come, sentence this world to death.
Mortal life is nothing -
compared to the void.
Your fears will be ereased
as the thonight (?) reaches eternity.
What onca was balance is now broken.
As this shadows arised
from the depths beyond time and space -
the abyssios beyond the line of mortal imagination
light fades and left no source.
I walked the void...
Down the halls,
Where no light glows-
Where once was life
Now shadows move.
Without mind,
Without a will
They search...
And never fade away,
The end of all paths is their aim,
But never they will find again
What was lost

But even if you call my name

Lord soth,
Once an honoured knight
Of the order of solamnia...
He built a stronghold, tall and proud,
In the shape of his order's sign.
Long time ago, he was disgraced from the gods,
For failing his duties to restore order in the realm.
He found the love of an elven maid,
Let his minions kill his wife.
The gods threw a fiery mountain
On the city of istar,
To punish the arrogance of the high priest.
To the catavlysm, to the end of the world.
"noctem, redde tuae, dux bone, patriae!"
Dawning in the lands of the damned.
A new morning went by
In the darkened halls of the fallen one;
As many others did.
Condemned to await the end of all days,
Guided by the cries of banshees.
Dead and forgotten mortals,
A life without light,
A life without the warmth of blood.
Rise and fall - an empire to lose
Fall and rise - a cataclysm to come
Rise and fall - the sea changed blood red
