One who prays often is full of faith. Faith is having hope in what is not seen. It is seeking God and being firm in the belief that He will answer. Of course, one who prays less is the opposite in faith. God had called the Israelite faithless or as in the King James Version backsliding. Backsliding is defined as the condition of "One who has fallen from a spiritual level they once had attained."1
14 “Return, faithless people,” declares the Lord, “for I am your husband. I will choose you—one from a town and two from a clan—and bring you to Zion."
Prayer is a number one priority to keep believers in Christ Jesus moving forward in their relationship with the Lord. It keeps them strong in the Lord and power of His might. They are able to resist temptation and sin. It is all about dependence upon God, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God gives grace and restores the believer!
Challenge: "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing , but the flesh is weak."(Matthew 26:41)
