Cavalier was the name used by Parliamentarians for a Royalist supporter of King Charles I and son Charles II during the English Civil War, the Interregnum, and the Restoration (1642 – c. 1679). Prince Rupert, commander of much of Charles I's cavalry, is often considered an archetypical Cavalier.
Cavalier derives from the same Latin root as the French word chevalier (as well as the Spanish word caballero), the Vulgar Latin word caballarius, meaning “horseman”. Shakespeare used the word cavaleros to describe an overbearing swashbuckler or swaggering gallant in Henry IV, Part 2, in which Shallow says "I'll drink to Master Bardolph, and to all the cavaleros about London."
"Cavalier" is chiefly associated with the Royalist supporters of King Charles I in his struggle with Parliament in the English Civil War. It first appears as a term of reproach and contempt, applied to the followers of King Charles I during the summer of 1642:
Charles, in the Answer to the Petition June 13, 1642 speaks of Cavaliers as a "word by what mistake soever it seemes much in disfavour". It was soon reappropriated (as a title of honour) by the king's party, who in return applied Roundhead to their opponents, and at the Restoration the court party preserved the name, which survived till the rise of the term Tory.
Plot
Following the events that happened in Grande Ourse, Louis-Bernard Lapointe retired. However, Lapointe starts to have nightmares. His quest for truth brings him to Verdeuil, an upscale community under the govern of pharmaceutical guru Julien Beaumont. The plot thickens as murderous dolls and secret medical experiments are head for a crash.

Lord Harry Almsbury: Amber, you've restored my vanished faith in gambling at long odds.

Plot
Maria Montez was accorded top billing in this film by contractual agreement, although she is in the picture only long enough to take a bath in a tricky 17th century bathtub while sipping coffee with Charles Stuart and delivering dialogue in a barely-understandable French-accent. This is the second major film released within a short period with King Charles II as a primary character, and Charles here and Charles (George Sanders) in "Forever Amber" are two very varied approaches to the same character. This one takes place prior to the beginning of "Forever Amber" when Charles II and his followers are hiding out in Holland from Oliver Cromwell's puritan Round Heads. Being temporarily at liberty (or unemployed), Charles takes a day job at the farm/estate of Katie, and falls in love with her. Meanwhile he eludes his enemies by agility, enterprise and sword play, some of the latter performed while riding the blades of a Dutch windmill. He is summoned back to the throne and has to leave Katie and the tulips behind, returns to England, is replaced by George Sanders who pursues Amber St. Clair and forgets all about Katie. "The Exile" and "Forever Amber" should be viewed back-to-back for maximum-contrast enjoyment.

She was a live wild, she was a stuck in the past
I was a hole in the middle, you was waking up fast
It was 4 in the morning, she s holding on tight
To a day, bow and look alive,
Circle 85
Now he s turning up, his amplify
Staring at his toes,
The way he s looking at you
He s still looking at his nose
Sounds like surf music maybe more than just a little
To me it s just another for California dribble
Talking bout the strange... in the middle, oh
[Chorus]
Well there s something to be
Learned here, the way it may seem
A little insincere,
Like they cool clown grin
Hear the, hear your country singer
I m a cavalier
Well I wanna know the whole story of the way
You came from where you going
How ever long it takes to know you
When your heavy metal heart beat
Tippy toes above feet, rocking till the team be
Well ice cream, soda pop, burning on the top
Some people call it rock and roll some people call it pop
Sounds like country music every time you use the fiddle
How am I supposed to know if that s a fact or just a riddle
Keep tied around the edges and leave a little on the window
[Chorus]
Well there s something to be
Learned here, the way it may seem
A little insincere,
Like they cool clown grin
Hear the, hear your country singer
I m a cavalier
Whoa, whoa, whoa, oho, oh oh oho
Whoa, whoa, whoa, oho, oh oh oho
[Chorus]
Well there s something to be
Learned here, the way it may seem
A little insincere,
Like they cool clown grin
Hear the, hear your country singer
Horsemen, Killah Priest, Ras Kass, Kurupt, Canibus
(Ain't no way I'm gonna let these bitch ass niggas come and get me)
Come on nigga, you want it?
{Horsemen nigga, smashin' the through the fuckin' cut}

{Horsemen nigga, Horsemen} How 'bout you?
(Ain't no way I'm gonna let these bitch ass niggas come and get me)
Spittin' shit, clipped and tipped in dip
I got somethin' to hold and lift
I'm a frontline marine, throwin' sixteen
Clap niggas like the palm, my hands and tambourines
I step out the spot and merge like submarines
Cause the first thing in my eye sight is seen
And I'm set for the parade, the steppin' and stompin'
Fire breathin' like dragons, unloadin' like Magnums
Steppin' out the bushes, palmin' and pushin'
Everybody back, just standin' and lookin'
Startled, just standin' and lookin'
Didn't know niggas so thorough would be so shooken
Cause I heard it all through the force
That bitch niggas like ya'll lookin' for us
But check this nigga, I'm here nigga
With the double desert E, shakin' bomb head nigga
In my palm, scenic Vietnam here nigga
Ain't no way I'm gonna let these bitch ass niggas come and get me. get me
Theres absolutely no way to get me
The Ripper is more talented than Mr. Ripley
And more risky than circus gypsies
Born in the 50's, and was rippin' by the 60's
And still remember the first time that I removed the man's kidneys
With these, it's like a Nightmare on Elm Street dream
Mini machetes sharper than wolverines
Inject us to the next session, and suppress the screams
Leave clues behind for the forensics team that inspects the scene
A serial killing machine to the extreme
A all eye seeing in-theory-ial being, surgically supreme MD, slash MC
Slash you across the cheek, and leave a gash that bleeds profusely
Truthfully the cut is too deep
And the mothafuckin' rippers runnin' loose through the streets
Slippery as WD40 oozin' from the feet
Cause ain't no way I'm gonna let you bitch ass niggas come and get me
Half man, half H-O-R-S-E, was it the devil of God to bless me
Come test me (Bitch niggas, let these niggas know cuz)
I throw flames, burn down bridges, my code name
The infernal, burn slow but burn internal
Melt niggas like plastic, face lookin' like jurassics
My brain full of psychotics and madness
You 'tarted sarcastic graphtics
Stomp niggas in the ashes, 'till they vaporate up in gasses
Then I throw on futuristic optic glasses
So I could see they asses, then I come out, flashes
Hold your breath, this is gonna be a slow death
My First strike, I will cut out your lights
After my second strike, I will totally extinct life
I come in sudden like a cobra's bite
I curse so bad, I make vultures fight
My insight goes back to the Vulcan rights
Medieval, I leave niggas in the cathedral
Rest in peaceful, 'till the ground opens and the beast moves
The gladiator, Dark Vader, with animal behavior
You try to front, and the pieces slaver
See, stupid niggas get dough and floss all they got
Grimey niggas crawl off the hood in celebrity shop
Jack the nigga for his car, cash and watch
But any immortal words than 2Pac (What)
Niggas gon' hate you for whatever you do
Masturbate dirty 380's and fuck you
With God as my witness, I refuse to loose
Try to come get me, I'm takin' ya'll with me, fuck that!
Uhh, no way, Ain't no way! (Ain't no way)
Horsemen stop, Ain't no way Horsemen stop
(You could come and get the Horsemen)
Ain't no way Horsemen stop (Ain't no way)
Ain't no way Horsemen stop
(You could come and get the Horsemen)
Ain't no way Horsemen stop
(The Headless Horsemen, Death and War)
Ain't no way Horsemen stop
Ain't no way Horsemen stop (Yeah, yeah)
Ain't no way (All for one and one for all, The Horsemen)
Ain't no way, Ain't no way, worldwide
I quietly wait in blind hope
Youre miles away as I hold out for more
Going out of my way I try to find words for
A voice in my head as you stay alone
Somewhere now a wonder awaits for this lifeless soul and its somewhere I know
Dont wait for daylight to find a place
Oh dont let me down now or try to walk away
As time and space wont forever stand
Oh dont let me down oh just dont let me down
As I found a sign of better days
The whirlwind breaks on
You wake and look out at the pouring rain with eyes that showed
To inspire those journeys from a time of old
Somewhere now a wonder awaits for this lifeless soul and its somewhere I know
Dont wait for daylight to find a place
Oh dont let me down now or try to walk away
As time and space wont forever stand
Oh dont let me down oh just dont let me down
I keep looking away and hope for more
I never find enough of our words to say and hope for more
But I know that it could change, as I know
That somewhere now a wonder awaits for this lifeless soul and its somewhere I
Know
So dont wait for daylight to find a place
Oh dont let me down now or try to walk away
As time and space wont forever stand
Oh dont let me down oh just dont let me down
Dont let me down now
As I wait for a moment to form, I hope for more
A long road ahead now awaits our chosen line
Slowly step-by-step we chase a better life
I hear their cries they tell me stay on track
But Ill try no looking back
To find all those colours of life
Wondering what its like
On the outside of those walls we maintain
Before I find were all the same
Before were old and hope to start over again
So make your move and hold
no more mindset thats overused
With memories all foretold, make a change or join the queue
We hear their cries they tell us stay on track
but well try no looking back
To find all those colours of life
Wondering what its like
On the outside of those walls we maintain
Before I find were all the same
Before were old and hope to start over again
As its better to look out toward the unknown
With all to show as its better to have lived with no looking back
A long road ahead
Slowly step by step
Well find all those colours of life
No wondering what its like
On the outside of those walls we maintain
Before I find were all the same
Before were old and hope to start over again
As its better to have known
Youre sitting there far away from all that we had
If you wait your mind will form again
So imagine if our shadows had stood their ground
And never hid to weather the storm in shade
As you wait for a sign you stand back in line
But its not over yet
As wed never know of what could have been
As wed never know of all we could be
Wed lie around in wonder of what could have been
Were getting older
Its little things in life we shared that kept it strong
So as you wait remember we belong
As someday I will find of, Ill find a way
Ill try to hide the weathered days
As you wait for a sign that its worth all the time look in your heart
As wed never know of what could have been
As wed never know of all we could be
Oh wed lie around in wonder of what could have been
Were getting older
Its been far too long Ive been without your pretty face.
As its been far too cold
As you wait for a sign. That all will be fine. Look in your heart
As wed never know of what could have been
As wed never know of all we couldve been
Oh wed lie around in wonder of what could have been
Were getting older
Its been far too long
I've been up since three in the morning
and I'm wearing down
she's had me chasing my tail for days,
running around this goddamn town
trying so hard to pick up the pieces
find the creases
hang them out to dry
but now my fingers are split and bleeding
so while my callous peeling
you'll get to help me
fly about
I'm no cavalier without
over time I've seen a lot of things
I'm not that proud to talk about
[Chorus:]
call out my name
to save the day
believe me when I tell you I don't feel like I'm okay
not that I'd even want to
one step out of line is still one step in the right direction
so make the connection it's saved me too
I've been hearing some things over this past year
and it's making me fucking sick
I'm proud to say I'm better off that way
I'm looking forward towards tomorrow
while you're looking back upon today
It's not something to cry about
I'm so cavalier without
over time I've seen a lot of things
I'm not that proud to talk about
[Chorus]
I'm proud to say I'm better off that way
(sing it out just a little louder, sing it out til the walls begin to shake)
I'm looking forward towards tomorrow
while you're looking back upon today
(sing it out just a little louder, sing it out til your lungs begin to ache)
I'm proud to say I'm better off that way
I've got a little secret
I hope you'll understand me
Just a little secret
I'll be as quick as I can be
I feel like I've been talking to a wall
And no-one's there to comfort me at all
When I've found out
You signed the line
That's for me to reconcile
I wish I could be pretty like my friends
They all got perfect faces
I wish I could be pretty like my friends
All in silk and laces
I spoke to Mr Clement
I awaken now to find that Im falling down
I ride on that tide of emotion I sail away
Around in those circles it takes breath away
We found of life out in those clouded minds
We made all those old dark skies alight again
A full moon shines overhead
We look out at night
Waves surround the light
We freefall down once again
With a shining moon over head
Oh we found of a way that dreams only know
We freefall down
We live for the now we freefall down
I try to stand
But a fire burns it takes me back
A longtail of finer moments swim again
Our dreams held overhead
We look out at night
Waves surround the light
We freefall down once again
With a shining moon over head
Oh we found of a way that dreams only know
We freefall down
We live for the now we freefall down
We freefall down oooohhhhh
Freefall down oooohhhh
We live for the now
We live for the now
