How to Make Finger Jello (aka Knox Blox)
This is a step-by-step demonstration of how to make Finger Jello with Knox unflavored gelatin. Knox gelatin provides a much firmer result than what is found in the recipe on the regular jello box.

How to put a stapler in Jello gelatin
www.safepranks.net shows you how to put a stapler in Jello or Knox gelatin as seen in the hit TV show The Office. Watch as we demonstrate the best ratio of ingredients for a firm finished product that will last a long time and is transparent enough to clearly see that there's a stapler (or anything else you want to put) in there. It's a fun, safe prank from www.safepranks.net!

How to make ballistic gel-The right way step by step
www.youtube.com www.facebook.com Step by Step process for making ballistic gel 1. Pick your mold. 2. Measure your water into mold. (cold water) 3. Measure your Knox gelatin 3.5 Knox to 1 cup water. 4. Pick a pan big enough to cook gel. ( make sure to compensate for the displacement of gel) 5. Put the water from mold into the pan. 6. Slowly mix the Knox gelatin into the pan of water. (the faster you pour the Knox the more clumps you will get) But don't worry the clumps will dissolve during the cooking process. 7. Once the Knox is completely mixed in water place pan in the refrigerator for 2 hours. (this is called blooming the gel) 8. Remove the pan from refrigerator, and place into your sink. Fill your sink with hot tap water. As the gel melts stir it. Repeat this step until the gel is a complete liquid. 9. Place pan on stove and set temperature to a low setting. I use "3" on my stove. Stir often to prevent burning on the bottom of pan. Heat to approximately 120deg. DO NOT heat above 130 deg. Ensure all clumps dissolve. You can use your fingers to squeeze the clumps to help dissolve. 10. Coat mold with some sort of vegetable oil or pam. 11. Once gel is at desired temperature pour it into the mold. Allow the gel to cool on counter until it starts to set up. 12. Place mold into refrigerator. Allow to cure for up to 24 hours. 13. When you want to shoot the gel transport the mold with gel in an ice chest filled with ice. Sorry the vid is so long. We are trying to show the ...

Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Panna Cotta (IF)
Link to Linda's site and donation link: www.genaw.com In this Atkins Diet in the kitchen video, I make one of Linda's recipes of Linda's Low Carb Recipe site fame. It is Panna Cotta, and the ease and lack of ingredients (only 3) is amazing. It is super versatile and only limited by your access to good sugar free syrups like Torani and DaVinci. Here's the recipe: www.genaw.com 1 envelope unflavored Knox gelatin 3 TBS SF syrup, like DaVinci or Torani 2 cups heavy cream 1/2 cup sugar free syrup In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 3 tablespoons syrup; let stand 5 minutes to soften. Bring the cream and 1/2 cup syrup to a simmer for about 6 minutes. Remove cream and syrup from the heat and add the gelatin mixture. Stir until the gelatin is completely melted. Pour mixture into 6 individual ramekins or small bowls. Cover the surface with plastic wrap. Chill until set. Makes 6 servings 279 Calories; 29g Fat; 3g Protein; 2.5g Net Carbs (IF = Induction Friendly)

Ballistics Gel Testing with Wax Slugs, Hot Glue Slugs, and Brad Nailers
Still very initial results, but we have the ballistics gel recipe down perfect. We are using Knox gelatin in a certain ratio but we may explore other mediums at time goes on. A wax slug, save for a little time to make them, is probably one of the cheapest way to shoot solid projectiles from your shotgun. The Hot glue rounds show a lot of promise. They are much harder and show a lot of promise for penetrating deep into stuff. The brad nail rounds are more of a bonus. They sure would put a real hurting on something. For those of you watching in GB, here's a way you can get hard hitting slugs with minimal effort.

JELL-O GRIN Lens
JELL-O GRIN lens. Demonstration of a GRadient INdex lens made of gelatin. The rough recipe for the lens which is demonstrated is: Mix 2 packets of Knox gelatin with 1/3 cup of cold water. Make a saturated sugar solution with 1/2 cup of boiling water. Mix the hot water with the gelatin, pour into mold and let set in the refrigerator for ~1 hour. Place lens in water bath for 8-12 hours so the sugar can leach out creating a radially changing index of refraction.

Gelatin GRIN Lens
I apologize profusely for the horrible video quality, I had nothing but a cell phone camera handy. But look! Bending light is awesome! Recipe for this lens (and a few more made with the same batch): 1 1/3 cup cold water 8 packets Knox gelatin 2 cups boiling water 3 cups sugar Mix the cold water and gelatin. Mix the sugar into the boiling water. Pour the boiling water into the gelatin mixture and mix together. Pour into your mold, then let sit in the refrigerator for about an hour (I went with 2). Place in water for about 8-12 hours (this one was at 11 hours when the video was shot) to let the sugar dissolve from the outside in, creating a gradient in the index of refraction! For a mold, you'll want something cylindrical and tallish. This was a SmartWater bottle which worked pretty well though it was a little too tall to support itself.

DIY: Pore Strip!
Ewwwie! I hate when you get a bunch of unwanted gunk all up in your skin! It's grooooss! Pore Strips from the store can be pretty expensive, and sometimes even painful!! This cheap and easy trick my friend showed me lets me rip out all that dirt! All you need is cheap ingredients you can get from a grocery store! ENJOY! :) [BY THE WAY, you can use this as OFTEN as you want!] What you need: A microwavable bowl A spoon or mixing thingy A spatula or brush (unless you want to use your finger to apply it, like I did) Knox Gelatin Powder Unflavored---- Any kind of unflavored gelatin will work Milk (Or water! You just need some type of liquid to mix in with the gelatin) 1. Pour your gelatin powder into the bowl (around half an envelope (one heaping teaspoon) is what i used) 2. Next, pour double the amount of gelatin you put in with your choice of liquid. I used mily to soothe my skin, but you can use water of even GREEN TEA! 3. Mix them together. Your mixture will be lumpy. 4. Put it in the microwave and heat it for 5 seconds. Take it out, give it a quick stir, and put it in for another five seconds. You should get a gooey but flowing consistency. 5. You made the mixture! Tie your hair back and Apply it onto you face with your fingers or a spatula. THE MIXTURE HARDENS QUICKLY!! The more you layer it on, the less it will hurt to peel it off once it dries(the thinner the layer, the less effective it is). Make sure you get in the crevices of your nose, but flaring your nostrils! DO ...

How to Make Healthy Jello
MamaNatural.com Do you know that jello can be a health food? Well, if you make it the mama natural way it can be Do you know what makes jello gel? It's gelatin which comes from hides and bones of animals. I know, it sounds kinda scary but read on... High in anti-inflammatory amino acids like glycine and proline, gelatin helps your nails and hair grow fast and strong, promotes restful sleep, improves memory and learning and even has antitumor properties! The gelatonius nature helps soothe the intestional tract while assisting digestion. I consumed lots of gelatin when I was pregnant and as a result didn't get any stretch marks or saggy skin. Woo hoo! And, let's face it, eating Jello is FUN! What's not so fun is the conventional jello on the marketplace. Filled with sugar, artificial flavoring and dyes, not to mention their gelatin comes from animals that are fed improper diets and given hormones. No thanks! But, we can create our own jello and bring back all of the healing and medicinal properties while making it taste YUMMY. Before you begin making, you're gonna need a high quality gelatin product. Knox gelatin at the store ain't gonna cut it. You'll probably have to order online as there are only 2 brands I recommend... Bernard Jensen and Great Lakes. Both of these are hormone free, all natural bovine gelatin. You're also gonna need some tasty fruit juice! Grape, orange, and cherry are all lovely flavors for jello. You can mix and match as you see fit or with what's in ...
