A balloon is an inflatable flexible bag filled with a gas, such as helium, hydrogen, nitrous oxide, oxygen, or air. Modern balloons can be made from materials such as rubber, latex, polychloroprene, or a nylon fabric, while some early balloons were made of dried animal bladders, such as the pig bladder. Some balloons are used for decorative purposes, while others are used for practical purposes such as meteorology, medical treatment, military defense, or transportation. A balloon's properties, including its low density and low cost, have led to a wide range of applications. The inventor of the rubber balloon, (the most common balloon) was Michael Faraday in 1824, via experiments with various gases.
Party balloons are mostly made of a natural latex tapped from rubber trees, and can be filled with air, helium, water, or any other suitable liquid or gas. The rubber's elasticity makes the volume adjustable.
Filling the balloon with air can be done with the mouth, a manual or electric inflater (such as a hand pump), or with a source of compressed gas.

Satoru Iwata (岩田 聡, Iwata Satoru?, born December 6, 1959) is the fourth president of Nintendo, succeeding the long-standing previous president of the company, Hiroshi Yamauchi in 2002. He was responsible in great part for defining Nintendo's strategy both before and during the release of its Nintendo GameCube video game console in 2001, a vision which helped Nintendo generate a forty-one percent increase in sales at the end of the 2002 fiscal year. Satoru Iwata is married.
Barron's Magazine named Iwata one of the world's top CEOs, due mostly to the Wii and Brain Age sales, as well as Nintendo's increased stock price.
Satoru Iwata was born in Sapporo, Japan. He expressed interest in the creation of video games early on, and began producing electronic games at his home during his high school years. The several simple number games Iwata produced made use of an electronic calculator he shared with his schoolmates. Following high school, Iwata was admitted to the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he majored in computer science. While attending the school, he did freelance work for HAL Laboratory, Inc., a subsidiary of Nintendo, as a programmer.

Lily Rose Beatrice Cooper (born 2 May 1985), better known as Lily Allen, is an English recording artist, actress and fashion designer. She is the daughter of actor and musician Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen. In her teenage years, her musical tastes evolved from glam rock to alternative. Allen abandoned school and concentrated on improving her performing and compositional skills. Afterwards, she created several demo songs and, near the end of 2005, she created a profile on MySpace where she made some of her recordings public.
A contract was signed with the label Regal Recordings, as the views on MySpace rose to tens of thousands. In 2006, she began to work on completing what would be her first studio album and its first mainstream single "Smile" reached the top position on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. Her debut record, Alright, Still, was well received on the international market, selling over 2.6 million copies and brought Allen a nomination at the Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV Video Music Awards. She then began hosting her own talk-show, Lily Allen and Friends, on BBC Three.

For the twins' 4th birthday, we decided to have a balloons theme. We made a 25 foot balloon arch and blew up 1,000 balloons. Since I (mommy) am allergic to latex, we were worried about having so much latex in the house, but I didn't blow any of them up (daddy was a rock star for blowing balloons up for HOURS) and we had a very creative way for "cleaning" the balloons after the party to get the latex out of the air. In this video: Taras and Dima do an ordinary thing - Pop a Balloon. But it's not a regular balloon, it's Giant 3ft Red Balloon. At first, Dima doesn't dare to blow it up with his mouse so he gets his leaf blower to do it. He puts the giant balloon on the leaf blower and the irreversible begins. Dima freaks out and breaks out a couple of screams before the Giant Pop sets him screaming and shaking (slow mo is included). After reviewing the incredible slow motion, he pulls our another balloon (this time blue). Well, and Dima is trying to make it more interesting but trying to blow up this giant balloon by mouse...Let's just say he lucky he didn't blow up his head ("would make a great slow motion" he says). The second slow mo of the Giant Balloon Pop looked simply incredible - it looked like a dinosaur opening and shutting his mouse to eat his prey!

The 1,000 Balloon Birthday Party

For the twins' 4th birthday, we decided to have a balloons theme. We made a 25 foot balloon arch and blew up 1,000 balloons. Since I (mommy) am allergic to latex, we were worried about having so much latex in the house, but I didn't blow any of them up (daddy was a rock star for blowing balloons up for HOURS) and we had a very creative way for "cleaning" the balloons after the party to get the latex out of the air. But it's not a regular balloon, it's Giant 3ft Red Balloon. At first, Dima doesn't dare to blow it up with his mouse so he gets his leaf blower to do it. He puts the giant balloon on the leaf blower and the irreversible begins. Dima freaks out and breaks out a couple of screams before the Giant Pop sets him screaming and shaking (slow mo is included). After reviewing the incredible slow motion, he pulls our another balloon (this time blue). Well, and Dima is trying to make it more interesting but trying to blow up this giant balloon by mouse...Let's just say he lucky he didn't blow up his head ("would make a great slow motion" he says). The second slow mo of the Giant Balloon Pop looked simply incredible - it looked like a dinosaur opening and shutting his mouse to eat his prey! Enjoy the incredible slow motion compilation! For the twins' 4th birthday, we decided to have a balloons theme. We made a 25 foot balloon arch and blew up 1,000 balloons. Since I (mommy) am allergic to latex, we were worried about having so much latex in the house, but I didn't blow any of them up (daddy was a rock star for blowing balloons up for HOURS) and we had a very creative way for "cleaning" the balloons after the party to get the latex out of the air.
