Traveling is fun but packing isn't always for most of us. Deciding what to pack, how many pairs of shoes, and choosing outfits can be daunting. In this tutorial I offer tips and advice that has worked for me in my traveling adventures. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe! Packing Tips: 1) Choose a "Colorway" for your wardrobe - decide beforehand on a color theme for your outfit choices. If you're traveling somewhere tropical you may decide on a variation of tropical colors i.e. pink, blue, yellow or greens. Pick your color of choice and pack with the mindset of sticking with variations of your choice (in this video I chose a neutral color palette) i.e. Pink: pastel pink, hot pink, baby pink etc. This way you do not overpack. 2) Pack airline approved carry-on liquids: If you are going to use a carry-on instead of checking your luggage, check your airlines website and inform yourself on their policies i.e. what liquids are permissible and the sizes allowed. In my case I purchased a pre-made, carry-on approved travel kit from Target for less then $10. This way I did not have to hassle with putting my varied lotions, face wash, hair care products in their own separate containers. 3) Roll and Tuck your clothing: When packing a carry-on or suitcase, you want to roll your clothing items and tuck them, as demonstrated in my tutorial. This was you maximize space and prevent wrinkles in your clothes. 4) Limit the amount of shoes you pack: As a woman we love our shoes, but tend to overpack them when traveling. If you stick with a neutral color palette for your shoe choices, you have more flexibility in matching them with your outfits. And don't forget your shoe inserts! They help with those long days of exploring, or dancing! 5) Don't forget your essentials: Sunscreen, sunnies, sunhat and a pair of flat sandals are an absolute must for summer travel.
