Menopause is a term used to describe the permanent cessation of the primary functions of the human ovaries: the ripening and release of ova and the release of hormones that cause both the creation of the uterine lining and the subsequent shedding of the uterine lining (a.k.a. the menses or the period). Menopause typically (but not always) occurs in women in midlife, during their late 40s or early 50s, and signals the end of the fertile phase of a woman's life.
The transition from reproductive to non-reproductive is the result of a reduction in female hormonal production by the ovaries. This transition is normally not sudden or abrupt, tends to occur over a period of years, and is a natural consequence of aging. However, for some women, the accompanying signs and effects that can occur during the menopause transition years can significantly disrupt their daily activities and sense of well-being. In addition, women who have some sort of functional disorder affecting the reproductive system (e.g., endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, cancer of the reproductive organs) can go into menopause at a younger age than the normal timeframe. The functional disorders often significantly speed up the menopausal process and create more significant health problems, both physical and emotional, for the affected woman.

Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard throughout his 2005 live album Try! with the John Mayer Trio and his third studio album Continuum, released in September 2006. At the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 Mayer won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change". The Dalai Lama is a high lama in the Gelug or "Yellow Hat" branch of Tibetan Buddhism. The name is a combination of the Sino-Mongolian word далай (dalai) meaning "Ocean" and the Tibetan word བླ་མ་ bla-ma (with a silent "b") meaning "chief, high priest".
In religious terms, the Dalai Lama is believed by his devotees to be the rebirth of a long line of tulkus who are considered to be manifestations of the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokiteśvara. Traditionally, the Dalai Lama is thought of as the latest reincarnation of a series of spiritual leaders who have chosen to be reborn in order to enlighten others. The Dalai Lama is often thought to be the leader of the Gelug School, but this position belongs officially to the Ganden Tripa, which is a temporary position appointed by the Dalai Lama who, in practice, exerts much influence. The line of Dalai Lamas began as a lineage of spiritual teachers; the 5th Dalai Lama assumed political authority over Tibet.
For certain periods between the 17th century and 1959, the Dalai Lamas sometimes directed the Tibetan government, which administered portions of Tibet from Lhasa. The 14th Dalai Lama remained the head of state for the Central Tibetan Administration ("Tibetan government in exile") until his retirement on March 14, 2011. He has indicated that the institution of the Dalai Lama may be abolished in the future, and also that the next Dalai Lama may be found outside Tibet and may be female. The Chinese government was very quick to reject this and claimed that only it has the authority to select the next Dalai Lama.

Self-Help in Tuscany: Facing the Change in a Changing World, by Fausto Petrini and Riccardo Pieralli
Being the Change
There is a movement, a movement in the air
Can you feel it?
Let them know this is the last time
Slowly, as I speak,
The could darknes behind me
My glance stiffens
And further and further it goes
Too far away is that I crave
The fatal distance kills me
Yet I can never die
The change arise from within
Not from resting in
The past nor kin
Its conquest is to win
Regardless of the mission
I can not show you my vision
Nor can you understand
That my journey ends in shadowland
Slowly, as you speak,
The clouds darkens behind you
Your glance stiffens
And further and further it goes
Too far away is that you crave
The fatal distance kills you
Yet you can never die
The black and white
Was meant for nothing
The shadows meant for all
Behold, the barriers of
Been a long time lonely, grown set in my ways
No eye for tomorrow, just a chain of yesterday
You were the first time I knew where I stood
Now I walk a new line and I think the change is gonna do me good
Gonna suit me fine, bring me back again
It's just a matter of time
Gonna play my cards right, gonna knock on wood
I know that it's comin', I think the change is gonna do me good
Stone cold sober in the broad daylight
Downtown dancin' on Saturday night
Thinkin' about you makes me feel all right
It's the way that you love me the way that you love me
You love is a shadow across all my dreams
I wake up and want you and your face is all I see
The words are unspoken, it's all understood
My heart is wide open and I think the change is gonna do me good
Gonna suit me fine, bring me back again
It's just a matter of time
Gonna play my cards right, gonna knock on wood
I know that it's comin' and I think the change is gonna do me good
I think the change is gonna do me good
I think the change is gonna do me good
I think the change is gonna do me good
Verse 1: Noreaga
My life is like a movie, aiyyo da bad guy lose
good guy win, weak nigga pretend, to be live when he not really
I smoke a foul phillie, write rhymes try to stay illy
I got two seeds, had 'em both in the same month
ya plan it like that but things occur, baby moms hatin' me
I ain't hatin' her, yo, you know what?
Most of the time that's way the go, one minute you high, the next you low
Not a soul love, they just love the doe
Sometimes I think if a nigga wasn't Nore, what
could I have bumped that bitch like I did
and would I get ass as a regular kid, only twenty years
don't understand this shit, nigga fake me, jealous of my manuscript
I, manage to flip, casually rip, for my loyal niggas
fuck that cat's some snitch, I did a bid, came home survival thug
don't come thru so I don't show love, that' how they view me
hatin' me, tryin' to screw me, and your bitches only catch me in jacuzzi's
at some other shows, politickin' with my other pro's
Kickin' back, what?
Callin' up some other hoe
Hook:
In a minute, I won't claim no set
Yo, you can't find me, gotta hit me on the Internet
W-W-dot-Nore, if not call me
I used to dream of, gettin' out of this rough shit
Now it seems I'm trapped inside of thug shit
In a minute, I won't claim no set
Yo, you can't find me, gotta hit me on the Internet
W-W-dot-Nore, if not call me
I used to dream of, gettin' out of this rough shit
Now it seems I'm trapped inside of thug shit
Verse 2: Noreaga
For my thug niggas, just livin' they life
drivin' expansive cars, always got one wife
where they could hide the work at, how to eat plus to work that
Most of y'all hoes know y'all not worth that
And ya know me, type a nigga play no D
I'm feelin' like my man Hollywood
Green chronic make me feel good
Total Recall the hood
remember when niggas just stood where they should
Now these niggas actin' outta place, talkin' out they fuckin' face
Screamin' how the real when they the snakes
Yo, this Titanic bullshit, overdose shit, nap shit
48 hours left to clap shit, crack shit, bogard like Bogota
While ya imbosiles still really think y'all real
Just because ya bust a gat don't mean you keepin' it real
Yo, I'm ill wit' the heat, and I'm ill wit' the pill
On the street, or on the mic, dick what you like?
While y'all jealous niggas hatin' me just on spite
I'm like Digital Underground, do what you like
My Cartier's glow like laser's, Fantasia's
At every show what, got y'all hoe's pushin' up Daisy's
N.O.R.E. the way I plan this shit, yeah like Mase said
Phonin' young bitches 'n shit
Suddenly the change was here
Cold as ice and full of fear
There was nothing I could do
I saw slow motion pictures of me and you
Far away I heard you cry
My table roses slowly died
Suddenly the change was here
I took your hand, you dried my tears
The night turned into black and blue
Still we wondered why me and you
After all we're still here
I held your hand, I felt no fear
Memories will fade away
Sun will shine on a new clear day
New red roses in my hand
Maybe someday we will understand
Well I got myself a T-shirt that says what I believe
I've got letters on my bracelet to serve as my ID
I got the necklace and the key chain
And almost everything a good Christian needs, yeah
I got the little bible magnets on my refrigerator door
And a welcome mat to bless you before you walk across my floor
I got a Jesus bumper sticker and the outline of a fish stuck on my car
And even though this stuff's all well and good, yeah
I cannot help but ask myself
What about the change?
What about the difference?
What about the grace?
What about forgiveness?
What about a life that's showing?
I'm undergoing the change, yeah
I'm undergoing the change
Well I've got this way of thinking that comes so naturally
Where I believe the whole world is revolving around me
And I got this way of living that I have to die to every single day
'Cause if God's spirit lives inside of me, yeah
I'm gonna live life differently
I'm gonna have the change
I'm gonna have the difference
I'm gonna have the grace
I'm gonna have forgiveness
I'm gonna live a life that's showing
I'm undergoing the change
What about the change?
What about the difference?
What about the grace?
What about forgiveness?
I wanna live life that's showing
I'm undergoing the change
What about the change?
What about the difference?
What about the grace?
What about forgiveness?
I wanna live a life that's showing
I'm undergoing the change
What about the change?
What about the difference?
What about the change?
What about today
What about the change?
[Chorus:]
Hey you know that things can't stay the same
Hey don't be afraid to make the change [2x]
Everyone's telling you you've gotta stand tall
just stick to what you know and you'll
never fall I guess that I can say there's some truth
in what they're saying have no fear move on and
stop delaying
[Chorus]
As much as we'd like things to always stay the same
there comes a time in everyone's life when we feel
strange doing the same old things again the same
way we've gotta break away to something new we'll
do it someday
[Chorus 2x]
As time goes on everything and everyone changes
[Chorus 4x]
One hand
Reaches out
And pulls a lost soul from harm
While a thousand more go unspoken for
They say what good have you done
By saving just this one
It's like whispering a prayer
In the fury of a storm
And I hear them saying you'll never change things
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing
But it's not the world that I am changing
I do this so this world will know
That it will not change me
This heart
Still believes
The love and mercy still exist
While all the hatred rage and so many say
That love is all but pointless in madness such as this
It's like trying to stop a fire
With the moisture from a kiss
And I hear them saying you'll never change things
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing
But it's not the world that I am changing
I do this so this world will know
That it will not change me
As long as one heart still holds on
Then hope is never really gone
I hear them saying you'll never change things
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing
But it's not the world that I am changing
I do this so this world we know
Never changes me
What I do is so
This world will know
Midnight bright full moon shines the street is cold and quiet
An open window a naked room a creature's lonely cry
All your prayers they're useless now a man will turn to beast
Tonight until the morning comes he's ruled by evil greed
The ruler of the night the devil in disguise
He'll trap you all the way the victim of the change
In his cell the beast is kept but no chains can hold him back
Inside his blood is boiling hot his order is attack
If he hits you no use to run he fetches you to your doom
Deposition
I'd lay to rest my being
Solumn death march took in stride
Funeration
That was my elegy
Open casket full of lies
The last rites have been spoken
It's time to die, then rise
Out of the flames
Unearth the change
Nothing can stay the same
Out of the flames
We'll rise again
Dying is not the end
Sweet revenge for
Attempts to bury me
Suffering will serve you right
Deliverance from
This cry for amnesty
I will stand and take what's mine
All mine
The last rites have been spoken
I've made many mistakes, I've lied many times
Hoping to change my life
Living without be able to show
What I really am
Only empty eyes follow my pain
I've denied God many times
Father of my loneliness
Oh, divine source of my tears
Now I'm in front of you
I don't need your forgiveness
But give me another chance
Kill me, gobble me
Feed yourselves on my life
Quench your thirst with my blood
There's no meaning at all, anymore
When there's no time for a change
You took off my breath
But not my life
It's written in our destiny
That evil never dies
I've denied God many times
Creator of my agony
All the evil I've done
All that I'd like now
Is to start all over again
Kill me, gobble me
Feed yourselves on my life
Quench your thirst with my blood
There's no use in asking God's help
Breaking out this stifled room
A jail cell, a stell tomb
To see the light
My mere existence
God's kill in sight
Confined in madness
Jurors hate criminal minds
They're making dates for killing time
Breaking out this stifled room
A jail cell, a stell tomb
One has to fight
For dissension
God's kill in sight
Confined in madness
Wasted life, tasted
Wasted life, tasted [X2]
Kill me!
Kill me!
Kill me!
Kill me!
Wasted life, tasted
Wasted life, tasted
One has to fight
For dissension
God's kill in sight
Confined in madness
Jurors hate criminal minds
They're making dates for killing time
Thought that I was strong
I know the words I need to say
Frozen in my place
I let the moment slip away
I've been screaming
On the inside
And I know you feel the pain
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Aaah...
Say it's over,
Yes it's over
But I need you anyway
Say you love me but it's not enough
Never meant to lie
But I'm not the girl you think you know
The more that I'm with you
The more that I am all alone
I've been screaming
On the inside
And I know you feel the pain
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Aaah...
Say it's over,
Yes it's over
But I need you anyway
Say you love me but it's not enough
Not that I'm so different
Not that I,
Don't see the dying light of what what we used to be.
But how could I forgive you?
You've changed!
And I will lie here by your side,
I'm about to lose my mind!
'Cause I've been screaming
On the inside
And I know you feel the pain
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Aaah...
You've been dreaming
If you're thinking
That I still belong to you
I'll be dying,
'Cause I'm lying to myself!
Aaah...
Say it's over,
Yes it's over
But I need you anyway
[Chorus 2x]

Parody of For A Change by Neal McCoy (S. Seskin/S. Sherrill). Love This Town Music (ASCAP)/All Over Town Music/Tree Publishing Co.,Inc./New Wolf Music (BMI)
New lyrics by Cledus T. Judd and Chris Clark La-Po Music(BMI) Chris Clark Publishing Designee.
It Seems like all my life
I've wanted to be a wife
So I went under the knife
And it really changed my life
Ever since that Oprah show
I've been wantin' me a change
Panty hose a time or two
...What?
Garter belts and high heel shoes
...No you di'int
Wore a big beehive hairdo
...Stop!
So they kicked me out of school
...Don't go there!
Everybody knew I was acting pretty strange
Since the change
They hardly recognize me
Even got a brand new name
I swear! I feel a little lighter
Since I went from Jim to Jane
It takes a while to get used to this
'Cause right now I'm still in pain
I was an unhappy man
Before the change
Rock my world little country boy, those Wrangler butts drive me nuts, uh!
Girlfriend I must confess
...Go ahead
Last night I was in a mess
...What happened?
My date, he was impressed
...Huh-uh
Untill I got undressed
...Huuuuh
When he saw my hairy chest
...Uh-hoo-hoo-hoo
He said, "You better explain."
...Don't you hate it when that happens?
Oh what's a girl to do?
...Tell me
Hit him with my high heel shoes
...No way
Once he came to, he knew
This woman's one bad dude
...You are?
But I'm just the thing for you
...That's right
If you're looking for a change
...He-he Stop!
Since the change
They hardly recognize me
Girl, I even got a brand new name
I swear! I feel a little lighter
Since I went from Jim to Jane
It takes a while to get used to this
'Cause right now I'm still in pain
I was an unhappy man
Talkin' 'bout an unhappy man
Now I'm a happy wo-man
Since the change
There is no such a thing called death
It's just a transformation, yeah yeah yeah
That boy george roman and queen elizabeth
All go from station to station
There is no end, it always goes on
There is no end for you, there
is no end for me
Understand, mon cherie
Heidi...
It's true [yodel], don't be blue [yodel]
When we lay down receiving life's crown
Open your eyes right now
Oh please be nice anyhow
It's gonna be no end for me
You fight with others just because you are wrong
Accumulating rubbish inside yourself
You have to throw it out, yes you have to throw it out
Human relationships are just so-so today
It's not too deep and darkness stands in our way
How about the light, i'm finished with the night
There is no end, it always goes on
Take my hand
And then we go the way, decide if you'll leave or if you'll stay
Say, what you say?
c'mon, hey hey hey
Our religions have to fight with one another
Just because we have the same father and mother
We shouldn't think them strange
So we have to do the change, the change
And our children live in danger and in sorrow
Who knows if they're not radioactive by tomorrow?
We shouldn't think it strange but we have to do the change
Yes we have to do the change
We have to do the change (4x)
The change, the change, the change
When we don't wake up now, who knows if we wake up at all!
We're so important and wish we would not fall
Deep down with Babylon, where's everybody gone?
It's true [yodel], don't be blue [yodel]
When we lay down receiving life's crown
And then we go the way, decide if you'll leave or if you'll stay
Say, what you say?
c'mon, hey hey hey
It's true [yodel], don't be blue [yodel]
Been a long time lonely grown set in my ways
No eye for tomorrow just a chain of yesterdays
You were the first time I knew where I stood
Now I walk a new line and I think the change is gonna do me good
Gonna suit me fine bring me back again it's just a matter of time
Gonna play my cards right gonna knock on wood
I know what it's coming and I think the change is gonna do me good
Stone cold sober in the broad daylight downtown dancin' on a Saturday night
Just thinkin' about you makes me feel alright
It's the way that you love me the way that you love me
[ guitar ]
Stone cold sober...
Your love is a shadow across all my dreams
I wake and want you and your face is all I see
No words have been spoken it's all understood
My heart is wide open and I think the change is gonna do me good
Gonna suit me fine...
No one can say
where love will go
the change
Don't know if I
am here or there
don't even really
know my name
Am I holding on
am I holding on
will it always
be the way
And the lips that kiss
can also kill
the change
The touch of love
can take your soul
the change
I walk through walls
The Change
Lets get over, lets get so drunk, I’m falling in love.
And when I am sober, baby you’re the only one that I am
thinking of.
And I tried so hard to break it without you,
You never tried but you’re under my skin.
Im losing this human race, but with you on my side
I think, I know that I can win.
Baby you’re changing me, I’m not who I use to be.
I’ve been trying, but I’ve been failing.
And I’ve been running, but I’m still trailing.
And if you’re gonna take risks, you’re gonna get scars.
And with your head in the clouds,
well you know that you might see the stars.
And baby you’re changing me, I’m not who I use to be.
I stagger home re-reading your words,
Promising myself that you will always want me around.
This is the change. the difference you’ve made
I’ll go no where without you. Cause who am I to be
without you.
Baby its only you.
Baby you’re changing me, I’m not who I use to be.
I stagger home re-reading your words,
Promising myself that you will always want me around.
Hollow alone In the shame you are I laugh at you as I stand and watch you from a side of me If I go crazy for you But I can't trust what you say I'll be alright in the end (Just don't leave this way)
I held you up when you were low Showed you which way I should go If I could show you what I see That's exactly what you done to me
Every lie that you told Cause an effect that would stay And built a wall of hate A pain that won't go away My senses confused by the actions you take (Now it's your life) (And now it's your life)
I held you up when you were low Showed you which way I should go If I could show you what I see That's exactly what you done to me
Calling all people wherever you are
Get ready for the changing that's not very far and you know.....
You know....yes, you know......you know
It's about changing time
It's about peace of mind
It's about falling in love for the very first time
It's about dreams and flight
Going beyond wrong and right
When the change comes everything'll be alright
Calling all people - gather around
Get ready for the changing that's got to come down and you know...
You know....yes, you know......you know
It's about changing time
It's about peace of mind
It's about falling in love like the very first time
It's about losing face
So we can win the real race
When the change comes you're gonna find your place
When the time will come - we don't know when
When the last is done we'll meet again
When the hour is here look to the sky
When the answer comes we'll all know why
Calling all people wherever you are
Get ready for the changing that's not very far
It's about changing time
It's about peace of mind
It's about falling in love like the very first time
It's about dreams and flight
Going beyond wrong and right
When the change comes everything'll be alright
It's about coming home
It's about children grown
It's about falling in love like you've never known
It's about losing face
So we can win the real race
When the change comes you're gonna find your place
A generation who will not live an unholy life
Today we make the change
A generation who s striving to live
God satisfied today we make the change
We raise our hands we lift You up
And all we ll see You in us
We ll praise Your name in all we do
This is our heart s cry can t live without You
Your passion s burning in our soul we re overwhelmed
We ve lost control our life support the air we breathe
Lord You are in me come touch these lips
And cleanse these hands Lord send Your Spirit to this land
Today we shake the chains today we will make the change
A generation whose obsession for You will not die
Today we make the change
A generation who will not let their lives pass them by
Today we make the change
