In geography, a plain is land with relatively low relief, that is flat or gently rolling. Prairies and steppes are types of plains, and the archetype for a plain is often thought of as a grassland, but plains in their natural state may also be covered in shrublands, woodland and forest, or vegetation may be absent in the case of sandy or stony plains in hot deserts. Types of flatlands for which the term is not generally used include those covered entirely and permanently by swamps, marshes, playas, or ice sheets.
Plains occur as lowlands and at the bottoms of valleys but also on plateaus at high elevations. In a valley, a plain is enclosed on two sides but in other cases a plain may be delineated by a complete or partial ring of hills, by mountains or cliffs. Where a geological region contains more than one plain, they may be connected by a pass (sometime termed a gap). Plains may have been formed from flowing lava, deposited by water, ice or wind, or formed by erosion by these agents from hills and \bro Plains in many areas are important for nc because where the soils were deposited as sediments they may be deep and fertile, and the flatness facilitates mechanization of crop production; or because they support grasslands which provide good grazing for livestock.
Malcolm X ( /ˈmælkəm ˈɛks/; May 19, 1925 – February 21, 1965), born Malcolm Little and also known as El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Arabic: الحاجّ مالك الشباز), was an African-American Muslim minister and human rights activist. To his admirers, he was a courageous advocate for the rights of African Americans, a man who indicted white America in the harshest terms for its crimes against black Americans. Detractors accused him of preaching racism, black supremacy, antisemitism, and violence. He has been called one of the greatest and most influential African Americans in history.
Malcolm X's father died—killed by white supremacists, it was rumored—when he was young, and at least one of his uncles was lynched. When he was thirteen, his mother was placed in a mental hospital, and he was placed in a series of foster homes. In 1946, at age 20, he went to prison for breaking and entering.
In prison, Malcolm X became a member of the Nation of Islam and after his parole in 1952 he quickly rose to become one of its leaders. For a dozen years Malcolm X was the public face of the controversial group, but disillusionment with Nation of Islam head Elijah Muhammad led him to leave the Nation in March 1964. After a period of travel in Africa and the Middle East, he returned to the United States, where he founded Muslim Mosque, Inc. and the Organization of Afro-American Unity. In February 1965, less than a year after leaving the Nation of Islam, he was assassinated by three members of the group.
I'm in a good way on a bad day.
Thinking of a plan a way to stay on top of it.
Nailin' in I have a fit if I sit, sit doin' nothin'.
Which is what. I done so far but I carve a niche
which sits in my good things brain.
Layin' the tracks like a loco mo, spark the Jay.
[Chorus:]
Tabla Rosa is my brain don't mean to bug or drive you insane.
Don't have to guess just what I'm sayin if I had a point I'd say it plain.
Dammit my brain is blank
and now I say it would be a lie if I said I was inspired
nothin' to say but that's ok..
Nod your head to this.
Messin' around, I'm not having it.
You bite the hand I put your head out.
I come to know a travesty and so sad to see.
The scene dictated frustrated former musicians.
Switching' the emphasis from art to money.
But I demand autonomy what else my friend.
I tell you what 's wrong to me the industry's ability to manufacture stars.
They churn them out like Iwojema makes cars.
But the blame lies not with those suits for trying.
It's the sheep that keep on buying that soulless crap.
Whatever they put in front of ya.
The hysteria of America.
Nod your head to this.
Well, stress is the enemy and not a friend to me.
One thing I see is to be easy goin' throwin' down sit back.
And watch my life flowin' and knowing life is but a dream.
You can ask my home team.
Let me tell you how I seem.
My economy seems to be in words not action actually ya see yes.
I'm a tempest and I rarely rest but that's what you go to do.
If you want to be the best so I'm on a threshold so don't tell me no.
I just flow and know I can count on my bros.
[Chorus]
Don't you know that the devil he's in me and God she is too.
My Yin hates my Yang, but what the fuck ya gonna do.
I choose a rocky ass path but that's how I like it.
Life's a bowl of punch go ahead and spike it.
Every person has got the right to throw the pain away
But sometimes I wonder why we have such a plain brain
Must we turn back? Must we light a candle for the earth?
Must we kill? So, must we die to know the way we were?
Destination will be given to us
Passing away will make you free
Now sit back, and just relax
Don't remember anything to do
When the space came into light
I was sorry for that baby child
But I had no choice last night
You're so plain
You're very average
The things you say make me sick
And I can tell you like me
Cause I hate you
You're so vein, it's very tragic
That things you say are far from magic
And I think everything you got
you stole from me
You are too arrogant to me
and it's true, the things you say
they make me sick, sick of you
And I'm just like you
I'm boring too
I'm just like you
He made you feel plain
When he forgot your name
Well let me tell you something,
I have felt the same.
I know you're in pain
But there'll be another Boy along the way and
God he made you beautiful and
There's nothing about you thats plain.
CHORUS
You are jewel you're a treasure
You are one of a kind
And you shine just as bright
As the stars in the sky
You're a rare kind of wonder
Created just right
So keep your head up over the pain
Theres nothing about you thats plain
You tell me you're not the type
The kind of girl that they like
And your a little insecure about
How you look in their eyes.
Well fashion will change,
Trends come and go everyday,
But God only made one of you and
There's nothing about you thats plain
CHORUS
See your mind, it is precious
Though your heart may be restless
And your eyes they will see
All that you're meant to be
'Cause your spirit is strong
And your soul carries on
You'll keep your head up over the pain
There's nothing about you that's plain
You know I've had my days,
When I feel out of place....yea
I look at who I am,
Cover what I can ,
I wish it all would change. But...
Take the makeup away
You see the same girl still remains..
She may not feel that beautiful
But theres nothing about her thats plain.
CHORUS
You may have felt plain,
But...God, He knows your name
Let me tell you something, yeah...
He made you feel plain
When he forgot your name
Let me tell you something
I have felt the same
I know you're in pain
But be another boy along the way
And God he made you beautiful and
There's nothin' about you that's plain
You are jewel you're a treasure
You are one of a kind
And you shine just as bright
As the stars in the sky
You're a rare kind of wonder
Created just right
So keep your head up no matter the pain
There's nothing about you that's plain
No no no
You tell me, you're not the type
The kind of girl that they like
And your a little insecure about
How you look in their eyes
Well fashion will change
And trends come and go everyday
But God only made one of you and
There's nothin' about you that's plain
'Cause you are a jewel you're a treasure
You are one of a kind and
You shine just as bright as
The stars in the sky
You're a rare kind of wonder
Created just right
So keep your head up no matter the pain
There's nothin' about you that's plain
See your mind, it is precious
Though your heart may be restless
And your eyes they will see
All that you're meant to be
'Cause your spirit is strong
And your soul carries on
You'll keep your head up no matter the pain
There's nothin' about you that's plain
You know I've had my days
When I feel out of place, yeah
I look at who I am, cover what I can
I wish it all would change but
Take the makeup away
You see the same girl still remains
She may not feel that beautiful
But there's nothin' about her that's plain
And you are jewel you're a treasure
You are one of a kind
And you shine just as bright
As the stars in the sky
You're a rare kind of wonder
Created just right so keep
Your head up no matter the pain
Keep your head up no matter the pain, ooh yeah
Keep your head up no matter the pain
There's nothin' about you that's plain
You may have felt plain but
God, he knows your name
Let me tell you something
There's nothin' about you that's plain
I saw a woman get run down, put in the ground, all for
the sake of a photograph,
and I knew that I'd never trust the news again, cause
they lied when they said they were her friends.
Cause most people stay true to their own plan and
understand, that we're all cut from the same grain,
But some of us want to live our lives through other
hands, and that I'll never understand.
Cause some are lame, and some deserve the fame, but
like us, most are just plain, and plain is alright with
me, plain is alright with me.
Sometimes you get caught in the rough spots, and you
think about the life you live,
is quite different than the hero schemes and turbo
dreams,
that used to fuel you when you when you were a kid.
But the pantry ain't bare, so don't despair or get
scared,
be proud that you did what you could,
cause a hero just does what a human should, it just
happens that the timing is good.
Cause some are lame, and some deserve the fame, but
most are pretty much plain, and plain is alright with
me, plain is alright with me.
I met a girl on an interesting part of the world, she
let me rest, and helped me catch my breath,
She said that she'd been burned at a young age, but you
never would have guessed,
Cause she shined like a bright star swimming through
the mist in the wake of an early morn,
and I thought, "Well, here's a real hero, and it makes
you glad that people like that are born.
I said, "I'm not lame, I'm just too tired to play the
game, I guess I'm just a little plain.
And she said, "Well, you know I kind of feel the same,
and, yes, you are a little plain...
But plain is alright with me.
Plain is alright with me.
So if you hit .400 or win a Grammy, congrats on a job
well done,
and if you get invited to a dinner at the White House,
I hope you have a lot of fun.
But before you take that plain road back to your plain
house to sleep in your plain old bed,
Be sure to smile for Mr. Photograph, just don't let it
go to your head.
Cause sometimes fame brings little more than pain,
sometimes its best to just be plain,
and if you play the game, you might have to pay, by
doing what the other people say,
Cause some are lame, and some deserve the fame, but
like us, most are just plain, and plain is alright with
me, plain is alright with me.
