A faith school is a school in the United Kingdom that teaches a general curriculum but which has a particular religious character or formal links with a religious organisation. The term is most commonly applied to state-funded faith schools, although many independent schools also have religious characteristics.
There are various types of state-funded faith school, including Voluntary Aided (VA) schools, Voluntary Controlled (VC) schools, and Faith Academies.
Faith schools may give priority to applicants who are of the faith, and specific exemptions from Section 85 of the Equality Act 2010 enable them to do that. However, state-funded faith schools must admit other applicants if they cannot fill all of their places and must ensure that their admission arrangements comply with the School Admissions Code.
Note that legislation varies between the countries of the United Kingdom since education is a devolved matter.
The Education Act 1944 introduced the requirement for daily prayers in all state-funded schools, but later acts changed this requirement to a daily "collective act of worship", the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 being the most recent. This also requires such acts of worship to be "wholly or mainly of a broadly Christian character". The term "mainly" means that acts related to other faiths can be carried out providing the majority are Christian.
Clinton Richard Dawkins FRS FRSL (born 26 March 1941) is an Englishethologist, evolutionary biologist, and writer. He is an emeritus fellow of New College, Oxford, and was the University of Oxford's Professor for Public Understanding of Science from 1995 until 2008.
Dawkins first came to prominence with his 1976 book The Selfish Gene, which popularised the gene-centred view of evolution and introduced the term meme. In 1982, he introduced into evolutionary biology the influential concept that the phenotypic effects of a gene are not necessarily limited to an organism's body, but can stretch far into the environment. This concept is presented in his book The Extended Phenotype. In 2006, he founded the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science.
Dawkins is a noted atheist, and is well known for his criticism of creationism and intelligent design. In his 1986 book The Blind Watchmaker, he argues against the watchmaker analogy, an argument for the existence of a supernatural creator based upon the complexity of living organisms. Instead, he describes evolutionary processes as analogous to a blind watchmaker. In his most popular book, his 2006 book The God Delusion, Dawkins contends that a supernatural creator almost certainly does not exist and that religious faith is a delusion. He is an opponent of creationism being taught in schools. He makes regular television and radio appearances, predominantly discussing his books, his atheism and his ideas and opinions as a public intellectual.
A Church of England vicar is sick of parents pretending to be church goers to get their children into a faith school, he is now accepting everyone. The Loose Women discuss whether they would pretend to have a faith to get their children into a good school.

Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept of ‘mauvaise foi’ or ‘bad faith’ is central to his philosophy. It’s a phenomenon of not being honest with ourselves and therefore, of undermining our chances of fulfilment. In 2014, the London Oratory School, a Catholic state-funded school in West London, was found to breach the statutory Admissions Code in a whopping 105 different ways through its ridiculously stringent religious admissions criteria. As part of its determination, the schools adjudicator noted that its admissions criteria amounted to selection on racial and socio-economic grounds. In the above video, BHA Campaigns Manager Richy Thompson appears on the BBC London News to discuss this finding, and an appeal from the school, which says that having to rewrite its admissions policy would go against its religious ethos. Richy also makes a broader case against religious selection in schools.

Islamic Terror 2016: https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/attacks/attacks.aspx?Yr=2016 This shocking video shows a female Islamic scholar teaching young British children how to kill gays and non-Muslims who reject Islam. The woman first illustrates what happens when a person decides to leave Islam.“What are we going to do?” asks the woman in broken English. “We kill him. Kill.” “The ones who reject Islam?” a British student asks. “Yeah,” the teacher says. “Kill him. You have to kill him. Do you understand? We’re talking about Islam.” The video jumps to the woman outlining the punishment for adultery. “The judgment for adultery,” she asks. “What is the law?” “Stone him,” a student replies. “Until he dies,” the woman elaborates. “And the one who is not married?” “Lash him, lash him,” ...
God works powerfully through the prayers of ordinary people. Read James 5: 13-20. Prayer arises out of a faith that is able to look at our Lord Jesus Christ and believe He is able to accomplish whatever is concerning us. We need to be people who have a praying faith!
