A bachelor is a man who is not married (see single person). The term is restricted to men who are not in a pair bond that will produce children and are not actively seeking a long-term partner.
Research done by sociologists Richard Pitt and Elizabeth Borland sharpens the definition of bachelor to mean "men who live independently, outside of their parents' home and other institutional settings, who are neither married nor cohabitating" because these researchers discovered that these profiled men were more liberal in their attitudes towards women's roles in society; this was not the case for those men who were "unmarried" outside this profile.
The terms "confirmed bachelor" or "lifelong bachelor" can refer to men who show little interest in marriage or other types of committed relationships, although now almost archaic due to more liberal social attitudes. These terms, as well as others such as "not the marrying kind" or "never met the right woman" are today not to be confused with being gay. That said, the term "confirmed bachelor" was a code or euphemistic term used to describe homosexual men, especially entertainers and athletes, in the era before the sexual revolution of the 1960s when homosexuality was not socially accepted and the stars needed a palatable explanation for why they were unmarried.
Oprah Winfrey (born Orpah Gail Winfrey; January 29, 1954) is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. Winfrey is best known for her self-titled, multi-award-winning talk show, which has become the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. She has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was for a time the world's only black billionaire. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood, claiming to be raped at age nine and becoming pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy. Sent to live with the man she calls her father, a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime-talk-show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.

REPEAT LAST TWO VERSES
Can I trust you
Will you hurt me
Should I give my
Heart and soul to you
Can I trust you
Or will I be
Just another affair
You'll be throwing away
When you're through
I've been in love before
This time, I must be sure
Lyrics courtesy Top40db.
I've got to love again
I've got to try
Help me believe in you
So I know what to do
Don't let me make
One more mistake
Or I may die
Will you love me
For the moment
Or do I mean more
Than that to you
So, I ask you
Can I trust you
If I can, then there's
Nothing, no, nothing
That I wouldn't do
I've been in love before
This time, I must be sure
I've got to love again
I've got to try
Help me believe in you
So I know what to do
Don't let me make
One more mistake
Or I may die

Charmai-ai-ai-ai-ai-aine
I wonder why you keep me wai-ai-aiting
Charmai-aine (my Charmaine)
Rise in vai-ai-ain (rise in vain)
I wonder when bluebirds are mating
Will you come back agai-ai-ain
And I wonder if I keep on praying
Will our dreams be the same (be the same)
I wonder if ever you think of me too
I'm waiting, my Charmaine, for you
I wonder why you keep me wai-ai-aiting

Smile for me, my Diane.
I'm in heaven when I see you smile;
Smile for me, my Diane.
And though ev'rything's dark all the while
I can see you, Diane.
You have lighted the road leading home;
Pray for me when you can.
But no matter wherever I roam,
Smile for me, my Diane.
I'm in heaven when I see you smile;
Smile for me, my Diane.
And though ev'rything's dark all the while
I can see you, Diane.

Hello, Dolly, well, hello, Dolly.
It's so nice to have you back where you belong.
You're looking swell, Dolly,
we can tell, Dolly,
you're still glowin', you're still crowin',
you're still goin' strong.
We feel the room swayin
for the band's playin
one of your old fav-rite songs from way back when.
So, take her wrap, fellas,
find her an empty lap, fellas.
Dolly'll never go away again.
Hello, Dolly, well, hello, Dolly.
It's so nice to have you back where you belong.
You're looking swell, Dolly,
we can tell, Dolly,
you're still glowin, you're still crowin',
you're still goin' strong.
We feel the room swayin
for the band's playin
one of your old fav-rite songs from way back when.
So, golly gee, fellas,
find her a vacant knee, fellas.
Dolly'll never go away,
Dolly'll never go away,
I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows.
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night, a candle glows.
I believe for everyone who goes astray, someone will come, to show the way.

I believe above the storm the smallest prayer, will be heard.
I believe that someone in the great somewhere hears every word.
Everytime I hear a new born baby cry.
Or touch a leaf.

Everytime I hear a new born baby cry.
Or touch a leaf.

How I'd love to hear the organ
In the chapel in the moonlight
While we're strolling down the aisle
Where roses entwine
How I'd love to hear you whisper
In the chapel in the moonlight
That the love light in your eyes
Forever will shine
Til the roses turn to ashes
Til the organ turns to rust
If you never come
I'll still be there
Til the moonlight turns to dust
How I'd love to hear the choir
In the chapel in the moonlight
As they sing, oh, promise me
Forever be mine
How I'd love to hear the choir

A long time ago, when the Earth was green,
There was more kinds of animals than you've ever seen.
And they'd run around free when the Earth was being
born, And the loveliest of 'em all was the unicorn.
There was green alligators and long-necked geese,Some
humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees. Some cats and
rats and elephants, but sure as you're born,The
loveliest of all was the unicorn.
Well now God seen some sinnin' and it caused Him
pain. And He said, "Stand back, I'm going to make it
rain!" He said, "Hey, Brother Noah, I'll tell you what
to do,build me a floating zoo,"
"and take some of them".......
"Green alligators and long-necked geese,Some humpty
backed camels and some chimpanzees. Some cats and rats
and elephants, but sure as you're born.Don't you forget
My unicorns."
Well Old Noah he was there and he answered the
callin',And he finished makin' the ark just as the rain
started to fallin'.Then he marched in all them animals
two by two,And he sung out as they went through,[ From:
"Hey Lord,"
"I got Your green alligators and long-necked geese,
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees. Some
cats and rats and elephants, but Lord, I'm so forlorn,I
just can't see no unicorns!"
And Noah looked out through the driving rain,Them
unicorns were hiding, playing silly games. They were
kickin' and splashin' while the rain was pourin',Oh,
them silly unicorns!
There was green alligators and long-necked geese,Some
humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.Noah cried,
"Close the door 'cause the rain is just pourin',And we
just cannot wait for no unicorn!"
The ark started moving, and it drifted with the tide,
And them unicorns looked up from the rocks and they
cried. And the waters come down and sort of floated them
away,That's why you never seen a unicorn to this very
day.
But you'll see green alligators and long-necked
geese,Some humpty backed camels and some
chimpanzees. Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure
All of a sudden my heart sings
When I remember little things;
The way you dance and hold me tight,
The way you kiss and say goodnight.
The crazy things we say and do,
The fun it is to be with you,
The magic thrill that's in your touch,
Oh darling, I love you so much!
The secret way you press my hand
To let me know you understand.
The wind and rain on you face,
The breathless world of your embrace.
Your little laugh and half surprise,
The starlight gleaming in your eyes;
Remembering all these little things,
All of a sudden my heart sings.
Your little laugh and half surprise,
The starlight gleaming in your eyes;
Remembering all these little things,
The New Year's Eve we did the town
The day we tore the goal post down
We'll have these moments to remember
The quiet walks, the noisy fun
The ballroom prize we almost won
We will have these moments to remember
Though summer turns to winter
And the present disappears
The laughter we were glad to share
Will echo through the years
When other nights and other days
May find us gone our separate ways
We will have these moments to remember
You know
some people just don't know what I'm talking about
But I know you understand
'cause I know you believe.
CHORUS
Baby, I believe
that you were meant for me
and if there's somebody
then baby, I believe
that somebody is you
and everything you do
'cause baby, I believe
I believe in you.
I walk home alone
waitin' by the telephone
all my girlfriends say
give it up, baby, give it up.
I know that you can see
this is how it's meant to be
you're my frequency
'cause baby, I believe.
CHORUS
Baby, I believe
that you were meant for me
and if there's somebody
then baby, I believe
that somebody is you
and everything you do
'cause baby, I believe
I believe in you.
No, they don't unterstand
dreaming of a masterplan
I know that you can't
give it up, baby, give it up.
And it's a simple rule
you don't wanna play it cool
leave me like a fool
'cause I belive in you.
CHORUS
Baby, I believe
that you were meant for me
and if there's somebody
then baby, I believe
that somebody is you
and everything you do
'cause baby, I believe
I believe in you.
One love is the prophecy
I believe
that all came to the past when you came to me
to set me free.
Sure is one and one is two
yeah
I believe in you
it's what I do
'cause I believe in you.
And it seems so real.
I was dreaming did you come to me.
Hold me closer for eternity.
I believe.
CHORUS
Baby, I believe
that you were meant for me
and if there's somebody
then baby, I believe
that somebody is you
and everything you do
'cause baby, I believe
I believe in you.
I walk through the world
and I see it all.
I never looked down, in cases of the fall,
I'm off the wall
and I still believe yeah.
CHORUS
and somebody is you
and everything you do
cause baby, I believe
I believe in you.
yes I do!
yes I do!
Far away places with strange-soundin' names
Far away over the sea
Those far away places with the strange-soundin' names
Are callin', callin' me
Goin' to China or maybe Siam
I want to see for myself
Those far away places I've been readin' about
In a book that I took from the shelf
I start gettin' restless whenever I hear
The whistle of a train
I pray for the day I can get underway
And look for those castles in Spain
They call me a dreamer, well maybe I am
But I know that I'm burnin' to see
Those far away places with the strange-soundin' names
Callin', callin' me
(I pray for the day when I'll find a way
Those far away places to see)
Those far away places with the strange-soundin' names

I Ain't Mad At Cha"(feat. Danny Boy
Change, shit
I guess change is good for any of us
Whatever it take for any of y'all niggaz to get up out the hood
Shit, I'm wit cha, I ain't mad at cha
Got nuttin but love for ya, do your thing boy
Yeah, all the homies that I ain't talk to in a while
I'ma send this one out for y'all, knahmean?
Cause I ain't mad at cha
Heard y'all tearin up shit out there, kickin up dust
[Danny Boy] I ain't...
Givin a motherfucker, heheheheheh
Yeah, niggaz
[Danny Boy] ...mad at cha
Cause I ain't mad at cha
[Verse One: 2Pac]
Now we was once two niggaz of the same kind
Quick to holla at a hoochie with the same line
You was just a little smaller but you still roller
Got stretched to Y.A. and hit the hood swoll
Member when you had a jheri curl didn't quite learn
On the block, witcha glock, trippin off sherm
Collect calls to the till, sayin how ya changed
Oh you a Muslim now, no more dope game
Heard you might be comin home, just got bail
Wanna go to the Mosque, don't wanna chase tail
I seems I lost my little homie he's a changed man
Hit the pen and now no sinnin is the game plan
When I talk about money all you see is the struggle
When I tell you I'm livin large you tell me it's trouble
Congratulation on the weddin, I hope your wife know
She got a playa for life, and that's no bullshitin
I know we grew apart, you probably don't remember
I used to fiend for your sister, but never went up in her
And I can see us after school, we'd BOMB
on the first motherfucker with the wrong shit on
Now the whole shit's changed, and we don't even kick it
Got a big money scheme, and you ain't even with it
Hmm, knew in my heart you was the same motherfucker bad
Go toe to toe when it's time for roll you got a brother's back
And I can't even trip, cause I'm just laughin at cha
You tryin hard to maintain, then go head
cause I ain't mad at cha
(Hmm, I ain't mad at cha)
[Chorus: Danny Boy]
I ain't, mad, at cha [2Pac:] (I ain't mad at cha)
I ain't, mad, at cha
[Verse Two: 2Pac]
We used to be like distant cousins, fightin, playin dozens
Whole neighborhood buzzin, knowin, that we wasn't
Used to catch us on the roof or behind the stairs
I'm gettin blitzed and I reminsce on all the times we shared
Besides bumpin n grindin wasn't nothin on our mind
In time we learned to live a life of crime
Rewind us back, to a time was much too young to know
I caught a felony lovin the way the guns blow
And even though we seperated, you said that you'd wait
Don't give nobody no coochie while I be locked up state
I kiss my Mama goodbye, and wipe the tears from her lonely eyes
Said I'll return but I gotta fight the fate's arrived
Don't shed a tear, cause Mama I ain't happy here
I'm through trial, no more smiles, for a couple years
They got me goin mad, I'm knockin busters on they backs
in my cell, thinkin, "Hell, I know one day I'll be back"
As soon as I touch down
I told my girl I'll be there, so prepare, to get fucked down
The homies wanna kick it, but I'm just laughin at cha
Cause youse a down ass bitch, and I ain't mad at cha
[Chorus: Danny Boy]
I ain't, mad, at cha [2Pac:] (I ain't mad at cha)
I ain't, mad, at cha [2Pac:] (A true down ass bitch, and I ain't mad at cha)
[Verse Three: 2Pac]
Well guess who's movin up, this nigga's ballin now
Bitches be callin to get it, hookers keep fallin down
He went from nuttin to lots, ten carots to rock
Went from a nobody nigga to the big, man on the block
He's Mister local celebrity, addicted to move a key
Most hated by enemy, escape in the Luxury
See, first you was our nigga but you made it, so the choice is made
Now we gotta slay you why you faded, in the younger days
So full of pain while the weapons blaze
Gettin so high off that bomb hopin we make it, to the better days
Cause crime pays, and in time, you'll find a rhyme'll blaze
You'll feel the fire from the niggaz in my younger days
So many changed on me, so many tried to plot
That I keep a glock beside my head, when will it stop?
Til God return me to my essence
Cause even as a adolescents, I refuse to be a convalescent
So many questions, and they ask me if I'm still down
I moved up out of the ghetto, so I ain't real now?
They got so much to say, but I'm just laughin at cha
You niggaz just don't know, but I ain't mad at cha
[Chorus: Danny Boy]
I ain't, mad at cha [2Pac:] (and I ain't mad at cha)
Iiiiiiiii ain't mad [2Pac:] (hell nah I ain't mad at cha) at cha
I ain't, mad at mha [2Pac:] (and I ain't mad at cha)
I ain't, mad at cha [2Pac:] (I ain't mad at cha)
I ain't, mad at cha, noooo

Don't give me your love
For a moment or an hour
Love me always as you

No heart can ever love you like this heart of mine

No lips can ever kiss you like these lips of mine
No heart can ever love you like this heart of mine

Marta, Rambling rose of the wildwood
Marta, with your fragrance divine
Rosebud, of the days of my childhood
Watched you bloom in the wild wood
and I hoped you'd be mine.
Marta, though your eyes beam at twilight
sparkling like each dewdrop at dawn
Marta, when I look for your love light
I awake with a sigh
and I find you are gone
Marta, Rambling rose of the wildwood
Marta, with your fragrance divine
Rosebud of the days of my childhood
Watched you bloom in the wildwood
and I hoped you'd be mine
Marta, now your eyes beam at twilight
sparkling like each dewdrop at dawn
Marta, when I look for your love light
Hello darkness, my old friend,
Ive come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of
A neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one deared
Disturb the sound of silence.
Fools said i,you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
Ramona, I hear the mission bells above
Ramona , they're ringing out our song of love
I press you, caress you
And bless the day you taught me to care
I'll always remember
The rambling rose you wore in your hair
Ramona, when the day is done you'll hear my call
Ramona, we'll meet beside the waterfall
I dread the dawn
When I awake to find you gone
Ramona, I need you, my own
Ramona, I hear the mission bells above
Ramona , they're ringing out our song of love
I press you, caress you
And bless the day you taught me to care
I'll always remember
The rambling rose you wore in your hair
Ramona, when the day is done you'll hear my call
Ramona, we'll meet beside the waterfall
I dread the dawn
When I awake to find you gone
Walk with faith in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
For with faith in your heart
The world is your own
You never will grieve
If in him, you believe and
Walk with faith in your heart
When the dreams that you dream
Seem to disappear from view
That's the time to fight on
And soon they'll all come true
He'll lighten your load
As you travel life's road
So walk with faith in your heart
Whenever you have troubles
Just reach out for his hand
He's by your side
Your constant guide
And quick to understand
You will find happiness
If you let him be your friend
And you'll find that success
Is just around the bend
He won't let you down
Wear a smile, not a frown
And walk with faith in your heart
You will find happiness
If you let him be your friend
And you'll find that success
Is just around the bend
He won't let you down
Wear a smile, not a frown
And walk with faith in your heart
