When days are short and nights are cool, there's no place better than a table spread with tasty comfort food. So, invite your friends over this Saturday and warm up their hearts with our menu for six.
Menu for 6
- Sparkling apple & brandy toddy
- Twice-baked gruyere souffles with rich tomato sauce
- Lemon-scented veal with green olives & gremolata
- Roasted broccoli with lemon vinaigrette
- Oven-baked risotto
- Rhubarb & meringue pots
Time plan for dinner on Saturday at 8pm
Wednesday
- Prepare the Twice-Baked Gruyere Souffles with Rich Tomato Sauce to the end of step 5.
- Prepare the Lemon-Scented Veal with Green Olives & Gremolata to the end of step 3.
- Prepare the Rhubarb & Meringue Pots to the end of step 1.
Saturday 7pm
- Make the Oven-Baked Risotto.
7.30pm
- Continue the Twice-Baked Gruyere Souffles with Rich Tomato Sauce from step 6.
- Continue theLemon-Scented Veal from step 4.
- Make the Roasted Broccoli with Lemon Vinaigrette.
Just before serving
- Make the Sparkling Apple & Brandy Toddy.
15 minutes before serving dessert
- Continue the Rhubarb & Meringue Pots from step 2.
