How to make Manu's bolognese

Manu Feildel shows us how to make a bolognese packed with flavour using pancetta and Campbell's Real Stock.

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large heavy based saucepan. Add the pancetta and cook for about 2 minutes until its crisp and golden. Add the chopped garlic and onion and cook until they soften.

Step 2

Add the mince and turn the heat up to high and cook until it starts to brown, for about 10 minutes. Next add the carrots and celery and cook until softened or about 3 minutes.

Step 3

Gently pour in the Beef Campbell’s Real Stock, this will really give the bolognese its rich and authentic flavor. Then add the tomatoes and bay leaves.

Step 4

Bring the sauce to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Step 5

Serve with a generous helping of parmesan.
