Young Munster is a Rugby union club based in Limerick, Ireland, playing in Division 1A of the All-Ireland League. It was founded in 1895 and plays its games at Tom Clifford Park in Rosbrien, Limerick.
They are the only Limerick club to have won, prior to its revival in 2011, the now defunct Bateman Cup which they won in 1928. The club song, Beautiful Munsters, remembers this victory. They also won the All Ireland League in 1993 by beating St Mary's College at Lansdowne Road in front of a record attendance for a club game of 20,000.
Club Honours also include 7 wins in the Munster Senior Rugby Cup, in 1928, 1930, 1938, 1980, 1984, 1990 and 2010 and 7 triumphs in the Munster Junior Cup in 1911, 1922, 1927, 1959, 1960, 1984 and 1999.
The Club also was one of the first Irish teams to tour North America extensively when, in 1985, they played 5 games in New York City, Vancouver, Langley (B.C.), Los Angeles and San Diego.
The current Coach is John Staunton. Assistant Coaches: Mick Lynch and Johnn Keehan. After a decade in the A.I.L Division 1, the club was relegated to Division 2 in 2002. The club played in Division 2 of the All Ireland League in the 2007-2008 year, but as a result of winning promotion, it will play in Division 1 in 2008-2009. It maintained division 1 status with victory on the last day of the 2008-2009 season away to UCD. Due to the new format of the All Ireland League Young Munster played in Division 1B in the 2009-2010 season and won promotion to Division 1A by finishing in second place behind Old Belvedere RFC. Young Munster finished the 2010-2011 regular season in third place in Division 1A, thereby earning a place in the All Ireland League semi-finals, away to Cork Constitution F.C.
Munster (Irish: an Mhumhain / Cúige Mumhan, pronounced [ə ˈvuːnʲ], [ˌkuːgʲə ˈmuːn]) is one of the provinces of Ireland situated in the south of Ireland. In early Ireland, it was one of the "fifths" ruled by a "king of over-kings" Irish: rí ruirech. Following the Norman invasion of Ireland, the ancient kingdoms were shired into a number of counties for administrative and judicial purposes. In later centuries, local government legislation has seen further sub-division of the historic counties.
Munster has no official function for local government purposes. For the purposes of the ISO, the province is listed as one of the provincial sub-divisions of the State (ISO 3166-2:IE) and coded as "IE-M". Geographically, Munster covers a total area of 24,675 km2 (9,527 sq mi) and has a population of 1,246,088 with the most populated city being Cork. Other significant urban centres in the province include Limerick and Waterford.

The FA Cup Final, commonly referred to in England as just the Cup Final, is the last match in the Football Association Challenge Cup. With an official attendance of 89,826 at the 2007 FA Cup Final, it is the fourth best attended domestic club championship event in the world and the second most attended domestic football event. It is the culmination of a knockout competition among clubs belonging to The Football Association in England, although Scottish and Irish teams competed in the early years and Welsh teams regularly compete, with Cardiff City winning the Cup in 1927 and reaching the final in 2008.
The latest FA Cup Final was the final of the 2014-2015 Season which was held on 30 May 2015 at Wembley Stadium and played between Arsenal and Aston Villa with Arsenal winning 4-0 to retain the trophy after their win against Hull City in the previous final.
Early FA Cup Finals were held mainly in London at venues including Kennington Oval between 1874 and 1892 and Crystal Palace between 1895 and 1914. In the period from 1923 until 2000, the final was held at Wembley Stadium, English football's national stadium. From 2001–2005, the final was moved to Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, during the rebuilding of Wembley Stadium. Millennium Stadium was used again in 2006 due to construction delays in opening the new Wembley Stadium.
The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) (Irish: Cumann Rugbaí na hÉireann) is the body managing rugby union in the island of Ireland (both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). The IRFU has its head office at 10/12 Lansdowne Road and home ground at Aviva Stadium, where adult men's Irish rugby union international matches are played. In addition, the Union also owns Ravenhill in Belfast, Thomond Park in Limerick and a number of grounds in provincial areas that have been rented to clubs.
Initially, there were two unions both founded in 1874 – the Irish Football Union had jurisdiction over clubs in Leinster, Munster and parts of Ulster; the Northern Football Union of Ireland controlled the Belfast area. The IRFU was formed in 1879 as an amalgamation of these two organisations and branches of the new IRFU were formed in Leinster, Munster and Ulster. The Connacht Branch was formed in 1900.
The IRFU was a founding member of the International Rugby Football Board, now known as World Rugby, in 1886 with Scotland and Wales. (England refused to join until 1890.)

Munster 33 Gloucester 6, 18th Jan, 2003 This was expected to be one of the finest Heineken Cup encounters. That it was not. Instead, Munster's unbelievable victory was one of the greatest performances by any team outside the international arena. First the statistics. The Irishmen needed to beat Gloucester by four tries and 27 points to qualify for the quarter-finals at the visitors' expense as one of the best runners-up. So Munster beat Gloucester by four tries and 27 points, with the crucial fourth try in the final minute by Ireland wing John Kelly, his second of the match. Thomond exploded with joy. Ronan O'Gara, the Ireland outside-half, immense throughout, had to kick the conversion to secure the 27-point margin. Thomond Park goes deftly silent whoever is kicking, but this silence w...
