Civilization is not established by itself but by the people who support it. People who turned themselves into one of the poles of the civilization. Humans are the ones who gave birth to civilization. It also means that no one is innocent or not guilty in this present life. Every one plays their part in supporting the sustainability of civilization. So, every part of work, values, property, actions and every one who enjoy the benefits from civilization are enemies for us.

Humans are the creators for what is so-called: Culture. Culture is the direct mirror of civilization. Culture is but one of the brainwashing processes to make one bow and degrade the wild desires. Our action (if it can) can be named PHOENIX PROJECT-PART 3. This is our collective decision to respond to the call from our Greek comrades – (1), (2).

Tonight (June 26) we moved out and brought the fire and burned down the third floor of former Sheraton Hotel, ‘The Media Hotel and Tower’, in Sahari Mountain Street, Jakarta. Our fire is to respond to the call from our brothers in Greece in the Phoenix project and as a gesture of solidarity to K. Sakkas, anarchist in hunger strike action to reach his freedom. Indonesia: riot as street vendors evicted

18 April: A riot broke out at Pasar Minggu Station, Jakarta, when authorities attempted to evict street vendors on Thursday, April 18. A number of street vendors, aided by students from the University of Indonesia, stood up against roughly 900 officers from PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) who tore down their stalls.

The riot leads to the death of a street vendor who died because of a heart attack. Another street vendor has to suffer a broken arm from trying to stop the officials.

“Why does are our stalls being torn down?” said Tian Novita, a 27 year old street vendor. She claimed that she does not receive any notification about the eviction.

Agus Sutijono, Head of Public Relation at KAI’sJakarta Operational Region One, stated that the street vendors have been notified since December 2012. “It’s not being torn down, it’s being put in order,’ said Agus.

At least 80,000 people rallied across the country on Friday March 30: the biggest public protest since the government raised fuel prices four years ago. The massive protests (a continuation of earlier unrest) forced a compromise in the law passed in parliament: there will be no immediate rise in subsidised fuel prices, though they can be raised in six months if the crude price exceeds the amount set in the budget by at least 15 percent for six months. As a commenter on the Jakarta Globe website said: “They’ve given the mob six months to get better organised. sigh.”

Rough translation of part of a post from Kokemi, March 31:

The fire broke out everywhere, and not just in Makassar but in Medan, Yogyakarta, Bima, Palu, Maluku and Jakarta are also ongoing street war protesters vs. police. Action is still ongoing in some areas, especially fields that are still raging.

In this action, tens of people were injured by the repressive apparatus,  from the nine people shot in Jakarta, one person was shot in Makassar and dozens of people arrested or kidnapped in this action. And there are many victims who have not been reported.

War of the street should be spread everywhere, that this is the beginning of the collapse of state and capital at the same time.

Thousands of people protested across Indonesia on Tuesday March 27 in further demostrations against government plans to cut fuel subsidies, which would increase fuel prices by a third.

Indonesia: demonstrations against proposed fuel price rise

There have been demonstrations in Indonesia in recent days against government plans to increase the price of subsidised fuel almost a third on April 1. More unrest is predicted.

Students burn tires on Thursday at a fuel station in Makassar.

On March 21 in Makassar, South Sulawesi, three police officers were injured and 37 students arrested following a clash that broke out after students threw rocks at the officers in front of the North Sumatra Regional Council building. The demonstrators in Makassar also looted fuel and handed it out free of charge. Continue reading →
