Brockagh (or Brocagh, from Irish Brocach, meaning "badger warren") is a village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is on the western shore of Lough Neagh, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) east of Coalisland and north of Washing Bay. It lies within the Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council area.
The village consists mostly of single dwellings and farm buildings, although some in-depth development has recently taken place to the north of Mountjoy Road and to the west of Ballybeg Road. Land adjacent to the Duckingstool River may be subject to flooding.
On June 28, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI authorized the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome to promulgate the decree of Heroic Virtues of their Foundress, Mother Mary Angeline Teresa, O.Carm.
Brigid Teresa McCrory was born on January 21, 1893 in Brockagh, Tyrone, Ireland. When she was seven years of age her family migrated to Bellshill Mossend, Scotland, and at the age of nineteen she left home to become a Little Sister of the Poor. In 1915 she was sent to the United States, and in the late 1920s founded the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. She opened 59 homes for the aged and died on January 21, 1984, her birthday.
One night as I lay slumbering in my silent bed alone Some reckless thoughts came to my mind which caused me for to roam To leave my native country and the wee girl I do adore So I thought it fit to take a trip, strange lands for to explore Now the night before I went away I was walking over Brockagh Hill When I met my darling on the road and her eyes with tears did fill "Stay you at home dear John" she said "and do not go away For I'll have none to comfort me when you are on the sea" Well I took her by the lily white hand and I held her hard and fast Saying "adieu to you my darling for my ship it lies in Belfast But if you prove loyal sure I'll prove true for you know that I'm well inclined" So we kissed goodbye and parted and I left my girl behind And when we land...

Time will not wait for me
Time is my destiny
Why change the part of me
that has to be free
The love that passed me by
I found no reason why
but now each day is day filled with the love
that very same love
that passed me by
and that is why
I can break away
from that lonely life
And I can do what I wanna do
And break away from that empty life
And my world is new
When I laid down in my bed
I heard voices in my head
Tellin me now hey, it's only a dream
Before I thought of it
I had been out of it
And here's the answer I found instead
Found out it's in my head
Found out it's in my head
Found out it's in my head
I can break away to a better life
Where the shackles never hold me down
I'm gonna make a way
for each happy day
as my like turns around
Break away
break away
break away
break away
break away
